Everyone else has got one... so now it's my turn

Morning Serena.
Thank you. I'm hoping it will be another good one too.
I'm working til 1 and then got the afternoon to myself.
So I might go out for a nice long walk to the gym again, earn some steps, and burn off some of the Chinese/pick & mix/cake from yesterday and set me up for dinner tonight.

Hope you have a good day too and I'm sure WI will be a good one =)
x

Hope work goes quickly for you and you enjoy your walk :) Think I'm not going to have time to breathe for the next 5 days!!! X

Morning.
So I ended my birthday the same way I started it - snuggled up to the boy.
Perfect end to a perfect day.
(well, not quite so perfect - could've not worked, but even work wasn't too bad haha)

Can't believe how good my day was, even though I did work.
Could've done with it being just a wee bit cooler out, but that's the trouble with Summer birthdays - the risk of having it on a hot day lol.

So my final food intake yesterday looked like this:-
b: weetabix (3pp) banana (0pp)
l: cottage pie (8pp) lettuce (0pp) birthday cake (ignoring)
d: 1/2 portion chinese chips (ignore), sausage roll (4pp), 1/2 tub sweet & sour sauce (ignore)
snacks: grapes (0pp) pick & mix (ignore)

AP: 8

So the stuff I pointed worked out to be just 15pp.
Meaning I had 11 dailies, 49 weeklies and 8 activities to cover the rest.

Let's point the chips as 14pp, s&s sauce at 5pp, cake at 8pp and pick & mix about 20pp for the entire cup (pick & mix seems to be about 8-13pp for 100g on various individual sweet items and I had a mixture of everything) and I've eaten about 2/3 of them so, 15pp.

I've definitely made up some of these points though =/

Thats 52 points yesterday extra.
Oh my word.

So I'm down to 0 dailies for yesterday, 0 ap and 16 weeklies left.
(Although actually I'm entitled to an extra 6 dailies, so could have 22 weeklies left, but I'm ignoring the increase until next week. Need to do as much damage limitation starting Sunday as possible).

I know I said I wouldn't be counting, but I feel a bit guilty.
It's set in my head now.
They say it takes 21 times to make a habit - and tracking is definitely a habit now.

And something I noticed last night, because I wasn't tracking - is that I'm still a picker when I've got no rules on me.
We left some chips for my sister - I nicked a few from the bag.
The pick & mix was sitting next to me on the plate I put it on - I picked at it even though I was close to full.
I need the tracking rules to stop me from over eating, because I know I do it and I can't help myself.
If it's there, I'll eat it.

I did resist the cake again though - only had one slice. But I need to get rid of it before Sunday.
I've got my eye on another slice, a mini coconut cake my grandma made and then that's gotta be it for cake.
Or else I'll eat the entire thing myself.

Hope everyone had a good Thursday and here's to a lovely sunny Friday.
X

Morning happy Friday!!
Yea I was a picker before I joined ww and did a lot of mindless eating and iv stopped all that now. But yea that's my biggest fear is goin back to that cuz I think it will as ways be in me!
You shouldn't be pointing on your bday weekend relax and enjoy it. You only get a bday once a year remember that xXx

Your birthday sounded perfect :) just like you :) I totally agree that you can't just 'go off plan' when you've been tracking for so long but at least you are enjoying your treats mixed with your usual meals etc. I'm loving the sound of the mini coconut cake, I'm so having one of my cakes tomorrow! X

Happy birthday for yesterday and congrats on reaching your goal :D

Thanks =D
Nice to see you around now and then.
How are you getting on?

I'm trying not to point anything 'naughty'.
Was just looking at what the points were from yesterday.
And if I'd been tracking, I definitely wouldn't have had half the stuff... that's crazy amounts.

But as I don't use my weeklies anyway, I don't mind 'using' them, because when I'm on track starting Sunday, I won't have to worry how many I've had because I don't use them anywhos.

And I'll always be a picker.
I can tell, just by having a day off tracking.
So I'll forever have to track what I'm eating.
But I may look into having a weekly treat like Serena, and using a few weeklies.
Not sure yet as I'm looking to cut down my exercise.

Gonna be trial and error basically.

Yes... definitely one of my favourite birthdays ever.
And awww... thanks for calling me perfect.
Can't you tell you only 'know' me online ;) haha

And yeah... the coconut cake is immense.
It's made from squares of regular cake (grandma pinched it off the sides of my big bday cake) and it's got melted down jam on the sides, then rolled in coconut and a cherry on top stuck down with a bit of icing.
Mmm mmm mmm.

And yeah... the meals are being tracked - the treats aren't =/
Oh dear... haha

So, staying on plan this weekend isn't going to go well.

Today so far I've had weetabix (3pp) for breakfast and 3 flipper dippers (little fish shaped fish with peas, sweetcorn & carrot in - only £1 in Morrisons for 10 atm) (4pp) with Mccains micro chips (4pp) and 12g Salad Cream (0pp) for lunch.

I'm about to treat myself to a scone (with jam & ww spread) (will point it shortly) for dessert, and maybe a bit of birthday cake (or a coconut cake), and a few pick & mix.
Then will try not to eat anything else (except fruit or a ww yoghurt) until dinner time when I'm going out for my meal.

The real problem I've got though is that I should really go down the gym.
But I really can't be bothered too because I am so sore from classes on wednesday.
I'm so stiff - I'm waddling everywhere because my bum/thighs ache so much.

I might go out for a walk though - yeah waddling, but it's better than nothing right?!?!
I feel so guilty about not going, but I don't want to injure myself properly.

Tomorrow I'm planning on having 3 meals as normal - well as normal as possible because I'm working 12-4 - worst shift ever whilst on WW - so awkward to work food around - but they'll be tracked ones and then I'll have a final cake and a drink (non-alcoholic obvs) down the pub and that's the end of my treats done.

Oh... whilst in Morrisons earlier, picked up a shop bought madeira birthday cake for just 99p!
I know I need cake out of the house, but I'll give it to my sis - cuz my bday cake is almost gone and I need to fatten her up so I can steal all her clothes lol.

I think you should give yourself a day off the gym & go for a waddle instead!! I think the gym may only make you more sore, you need rest days & the walk will help stretch the legs!

I love scones, especially with clotted cream & jam, hope you enjoyed it!!

Happy Waddling Emma :) Maybe you should waddle to Kent, yes you'd miss work and the Chinese but you'd earn a few AP!!! X PS-I have to have Clotted Cream on Scone and it has to be Cream then Jam,never the other way round!!!x

I didn't go to the gym - I didn't even go for a waddle.

Instead I ate birthday cake, a coconut cake and a custard slice (custard slice has been pointed - other two not)

I also made a 'get the rest of my life organised' plan - main point - tidying my room.
I've got so much stuff, I need to get rid of it.
And then I drew a little plan of how I want my room to look like when I've organised it.

It's not massively hard to do (providing my drawers fit in my built in wardrobes as planned), it's just getting rid of all the junk in my wardrobes to make space for the other stuff.

Just need to take it a step as a time.
Do minimins have a organising website?! Haha.

Mmmmmmmm your cake(s) and custard slice sounds yummy!!! Minimins does make your house a mess, I never do any housework as I'd rather be on here!!!x

When r u startin the bedroom plan then hun.x

About 6 years ago lol.

The boy's gonna come over Sunday and we might have a little bit of a sort out of some stuff out.
Might go through my clothes, sort out what fits, what's too big, what can go in the bin/charity shop/car boot - make room for this shopping spree he's planning on taking me on that I won't be letting him take me on haha

I reckon you'll be left with a shoe box amount of clothes! X

Wowzers!

Just finished my birthday dinner at the cafe in town.
During the day it's a cafe, and about a month ago it started doing evening meals.
They said it's been a bit slow, but it's still new and people don't realise it's doing it yet.
It's a casual place - nothing posh like frankie & Benny's (which I discovered I get 20% off in today because I work at the range and it's across the car park - obvs it won't be in all f&b's - just that one because it's a local business deal, but still good to know), not even as "posh" as Pizza Hut, but it's less casual than the likes of KFC, maccy d's and Burger King.

Anyway, course 1 was soups.
There was a choice of the classic Chinese soups - chicken & sweetcorn, chicken noodle or chicken & mushroom. I had noodles, mum had sweetcorn and dad had mushroom. No vegetarian alternative, however, pretty sure they're made to order so you could probably have ordered mushroom & sweetcorn, or noodles & mushroom/sweetcorn, whatever you so wish and I reckon they'd have accommodated for your needs.

The chicken & sweetcorn was thick and tasted really nice and my chicken & noodle was delicious. The chicken just melted in my mouth. Gorgeous!

Next course was a mixed starter - 2 ribs, 2 spring rolls and 3 onion rings, with a side of sweet chilli.
Another beautiful dish. The ribs fell off the bone so cleanly and the sweet chilli sauce was gorge - I finished mine and then had half my dad's haha.

(Upside down, sorry haha)
(Also, had already eaten my soup before remembering to take a photo)

Main course had a whole range of Chinese & English meals available.
Dad chose chicken curry & rice and me and mum had sweet & sour chicken and noodles.

Delish delish delish.

Then finally dessert.
Dad had lychees & ice cream and mum had fried banana and ice cream.

I was torn between home made cake and custard and apple pie & custard, but was told there wasn't any cake, so that made my decision for me.
It was the hugest portion of apple pie ever.
It completely filled me up, I'm still bloated now and it's been nearly an hour.
image.jpg
I had to leave a mouthful because I was so full.
Something I would never have done before.
So although I ate a ridiculous amount, I'm proud of myself for leaving some on the plate.

Am now in the pub with my friends, having an alcohol free kopparberg.
