(Will)PowerPuff Girl
Hello hello hello.
I've been a little AWOL recently - just had a busy weekend.
Yesterday I was a bit grumpy - partly because I was hungry, and partly because the boy was helping me tidy my room/sort stuff out for car booting and he was doing my head in because he was making decisions to rashly in my opinion and didn't stop and look at what things actually were.
But that's my problem - I'm a hoarder, and an emotional one at that, I'll give like 6 different reasons why a reciept for a packet of sweets can't be thrown away haha.
However, we did manage to sort 2 black bags of rubbish and 1 black bag of clothes that don't fit to sell - that was just my dresses and jeans - haven't been through my drawers yet. I'm actually not gonna have any clothes left.
Anyway, today I went to the gym.
A) to make up for stuffing my face silly over the weekend
B) to make up for not going on friday
C) to make up for missing the gym and zumba tomorrow due to a hospital appointment (I'm having a tooth root out - the dentist took my tooth out a couple of months ago and couldn't get the root out, so the hospital are doing it tomorrow... argh!!!)
Then it was off to grandma's for lunch.
My grandad suffers from the beginnings of dementia, and the hot weather really affects him, and he has been known to pass out a couple of times.
It worries my grandma to go out in the heat with him, so atm, they're housebound.
So me & mum decided to take them out shopping to Tesco, which made grandma really happy.
Atm, they've got 48 weetabix for £3, so I got a pack and grandma got a pack.
Then we noticed that if you spend £6 on cereal, you get 5p off per litre of fuel, so we bought them together instead of separately so I could get the voucher.
Also, all variaties of WW 4pk yoghurts (dessert recipe, greek style, layered fromage frais etc) are all £1.50 BOGOF, so we got some of them.
I'm really loving the greek style atm - I don't really do yoghurts, but I've got packs in my fridge, at grandma's and at the boy's haha.
I also bought a Lighter Choices Chicken Pasta Bake for £1.20 (8pp) and just had it for my dinner.
Was yummy. Shall buy it again, especially as it's only an extra 20p than the WW meals I usually buy.
As well as that, I got a 6 pack of WW Fruit Crumble bars (2pp) for £1.99.
A little expensive, but I've been eyeing them up for ages and they don't seem to go on offer, so I decided to treat myself with my bday money.
I tried one and it's very yummy.
Perhaps not worth the 33p each (well... now I've worked it out like that, maybe they are) but it's quite a costly treat in one go.
But hey ho.
In between grandma's and work I had a spare 20 minutes so decided to tackle a box out of my wardrobe - managed another half bag of rubbish and a whole box full of stuff to sell - little porcelain dolls and ornaments that hopefully somebody will want.
Also found my Gizmo - I didn't have a Furby the first time round - I had a Gizmo - just like a Furby but in the style of Gizmo from the Gremlins.
Just need to see if he works if I change the batteries and hopefully somebody will like him for a few quid.
Work 415-815 - went ok.
A little slow, was very hot, but it was ok.
On the way home I needed petrol, so popped into morrisons (Yes, I know I have the money off voucher for Tesco, but Tesco isn't on the way home).
Went in to see what bargains they had and there was lots of deli bakery stuff reduced - 8 snack sausage rolls - 29p, 2 pork pies - 29p, 3 cheese & onion rolls - 29p, a rhubarb pie - 29p and a pack of 2 apple turnovers for 29p as well.
I had 15 points left before dinner, and after my 8pp chicken pasta bake, I had 7pp left.
I wanted a treat.
So I googled the apple turnovers and they came up as 7pp for 88g.
I weighed my turnover and it was 88g exactly.
Result!
So I treated myself, and I enjoyed it, all within points!
26/26 points today, 6AP earned and hopefully on track to losing the half stone (?) that I put on this weekend haha.
Little nervous about not going to the gym or zumba tomorrow, and I don't think I'll feel up for exercising once I'm done at the hospital, but I'll try something - maybe a bit of walking.
We'll see how I feel.
Hopefully I'll be able to pull off a STS this week - or a minimal gain *fingers crossed*.
Just as long as it's not more than 5lbs haha.
Although I haven't cancelled my membership yet, so technically I'm still paying, so even if I do go over, I don't mind.
Hope everyone's had a good day
