(Will)PowerPuff Girl
So... today.
Work was hectic.
Didn't get anything remotely productive done and my date checking hasn't been finished.
ARGH!
Still so much to do!!
Hopefully get some done tomorrow *fingers crossed*.
Finished work and went to pick up the boy so we could go into town.
First went to the retail park and went to Asda Living.
Found some denim shorts - literally the only pair in a size 12 in there, so bought them as haven't been having any luck with shorts anywhere else.
Also bought this top in there for £6
Then it was off to Matalan to return my 2 dresses from there.
Then to the shopping centre to Primark to return the dress I bought there and the 2 pairs of jeans.
In the end, I had £45 returned to me and spent just £18.
I was absolutely starving by then (it was like quarter to 4 - last ate at 9 o'clock this morning) and decided I was going to be naughty and have a chicken bake from Gregg's for 11pp.
It was totally worth 11pp, but didn't really fill me up.
The boy wanted Burger King, and whilst I was in there, I spotted the Frozen Lemonade and really liked the look of them.
So I decided to have the Strawberry Lemonade one for what I've classed at 4pp (it's 157 calories).
So that was 15pp in a space of half an hour.
Oops.
But I enjoyed them and together they filled a gap.
Got back to mine for catch up 4 and to put the car booting stuff in the back of my car to take to his later.
Then he got a text from his mum saying his uncle was round, did he want to go over and see him, so I dropped him off at his mum's (but not before round 5 at his house haha).
I'm at home now and just had this for my dinner.
Just 8pp.
Mum had cooked chicken at lunch time, so before she put the rest of it in the freezer, I stole 4pp worth.
I also had 2pp worth of potatoes, 2 yorkshire puddings (1pp each) and the rest is chopped up carrot & swede that grandma sent home as leftovers from lunch yesterday.
I also made some gravy, but made sure it didn't go over the 0pp allowance.
I am totally filled up now.
I have 2pp left for dessert - we got large punnets of strawberries reduced to 10p in Tesco last night, so I might have some of them with a bit of ice cream on them.
Or maybe just squirty cream and sprinkles (if we even have either of them lol).
I've got my new shorts on, but I don't think I like them.
They're very short, they seem to make my legs fatter when I sit down (not that spreading out thing thighs do anyway when you sit down, but kinda digging into my thighs to make them bulky thing), they pockets hang out of the bottom (which I understand is the fashion this days, but I think looks stupid) and my bottom kinda hangs out too (another thing that's "cool" but I think looks stupid) - they're not that short that you see lots of bum cheek like is all the rage atm, but I am aware that the 'crease' bit of my bottom is a little exposed.
But I've had them on a couple of hours now, so can't really take them back =(
That's £12 I won't get back.
Maybe I'll hang onto them and will prefer them when I'm a bit lighter/start toning.
Think that's all I've got to say, other than yesterday when we were shopping, we went to Primark, and outside was Brian Conley, filming for a new gameshow - Brian's Big Van.
Was pretty cool watching the little bit we saw.
Glad we didn't stay and watch it all though as I didn't have enough time to shop as it was, let alone if we'd spent all afternoon watching him as well lol.
