Everyone else has got one... so now it's my turn

Mornin hun. Wow your hair luks amazing and that was a briliant idea to get you hair dun to finish off your new luck. Thats abit like how mine started years ago til i got brave again and cut the longer side to match the other. I have dif styles but keep the shortness. I put abit of wax on and and spike it up abit for a funky look. So your r goin 2 dye your hair today. Do u do that yourself or the hairdresser? ive had so many colours that ive dun myself. Ive had violet,brite red. I think a realy brite red would luk amazin on your hair. Them new live hair dyes have sum lovely reds. I Used to have pillar box red!!! Loving the pink jeans 2 ive never been brave enuf to wear colourful jeans. Glad the boy loves the look 2.x:)

I'm gonna admit, it was definitely not my idea to go really short.
My hairdresser was like "let's do something dramatic" and she had an idea in her head and I let her go with it.
I always let her do what she wants, but it always ends up a variation of a bob.
Definitely not a bob now.

I've just been down the gym and it got all sweaty and my hair goes curly when it's wet, so I looked a right state.
Defo gonna have to keep on top of straightening with it this length.

As for dying - I'm in the process of doing it now.
Just put it on... gotta wait half an hour for it to set and then time to wash off and see how it is.
I've gone for my usual XXL Red Berry Passion colour.
I'd love to go pillar box, but I know I'd get in trouble at work for it.
They can't say anything about the colour I'm going, cuz it's always been this colour, just the roots haven't been done for ages.

And the coloured jeans - I'm loving coloured jeans these days.
I bought a pair of dark red and a pair of dark green in Primark last October and loved them.
Except I was fooling myself and they were a little too tight so I didn't wear them often.
And now I've gone and missed my chance because they're too big now, so they're in the car boot pile =(

I'll try.
I've been dying my hair since I was about 17.
It's always been red, except for once where I dyed it a dark purple, and once where I dyed it brown to try and give my hair a chance without hair dye.
So I dyed it red, so the roots wouldn't be as noticeable when they came through.
Well that lasted about 3 weeks before I dyed it red again.
I just love being red too much.
I've got pasty ginger genetic skin, so I personally think I can pull of red rather well =D

Is that a new colour or the colour u always do. It sounds fab and i cant wait to c the end result? I Used to get the pilar box red from salys hairdresin shop,do u have 1? Only thing with there colours is u have to mix it with a bit of peroxide to get the wow colour but its so worth it. Im used to peroxide and bleach now haha. R U Not allowed realy bright colours at work?x

I experimented with a few different shades and brands of red before deciding on the XXL Red Passion in the box.
Then the shake it tub was on offer when they first came out, so I bought the Red Berry Passion as the name was similar.
It's a slightly different shade and actually suits my natural hair colour a bit better because the roots don't show up quite as much when they grow through (well, except the grey ones).
So it's been my colour for quite a while.

And yeah... I think we've got a Sally's. Never been in it though.
But no... we're not allowed bright colours at work.
They don't mind you dying your hair, as long as it's a naturalish colour.
Hopefully they won't mind this one - it's not that bright.
A woman at work dyed her hair what looked like the XXL orange, but it wasn't, it was just a regular one that kinda colour - but it's cuz she had peroxide blonde hair beforehand that it really took. So the managed asked her to tone it down.
He said he liked it personally, but professionally, it wasn't suitable.

Not too bright or interesting, but I'm liking being back to red.
It's been mainly brown with red tips for ages because I've just been too damn lazy to dye it.
Thought I'd do it now so I can mega wow people at work in an hour with a double whammy, rather than a hair cut and then dye my hair.

My roots were so bad that most of my colour was chopped off haha.
I've been so lazy recently.
The main reason I hadn't cancelled it sooner is because I was going to Aquafit on Monday nights and didn't want to leak red hair dye in the pool.
But I don't go anymore because I have to work lates on Mondays, so I thought I might as well do it now I've had a radical new cut.

None of the managers mentioned it being too bright today, so that's a bonus.

Love the hair, I too am a massive fan of le ginge (french accent!), as I like to call it, sounds better than ging-er. I'm also of a pasty nature with freckles, so should by rights be ginge, but I'm kind of mousy/grey. I dye mine proper ginger though & then have to justify it to my young male colleagues who just don't get it - 'why not blond???' One track mind those boys ;)

Hurrah for the red ;) and the jeans & the hair do & that really groovy dress & the shorts your ass hangs sexally out of!!!!! This is what losing weight is all about - CONFIDENCE :D

I was born "strawberry blonde", but it darkened to mousey brown when I was about 2/3 years old.

My grandma is Scottish and had deep Auburn hair, my mum inherited her auburn and I got a mixture of mum's auburn and dad's mousey brown that went blonde in the summer and came out strawberry blonde haha.

My great grandad was auburn, and my great grandma said to him that if she ever had ginger kids, she'd drown them.
She had 13 kids - majority of them were ginger ;) haha

I'm still not convinced about the short shorts - but in other (good) news - I found my other short shorts - the ones I'd lost resulting in having to buy the new short shorts.
