Well done on the loss. I seen u have been thinking it wasn't coming off but just goes to show u never can tell till u get on the scales. I like the way u are losing it cause u are still having a social life eating out and such so I think u are doing fabulously well!!! Keep up the good work chum xx

I always thought I would stick to plan 100% every single week but in the real world that hasn't happened, I work very hard and deserve to eat out if I want to or go for a few drinks etc but what I need to do us learn to do that sensibly and I need to be a little softer on myself, to stop expecting miracles and be happy with what Ive lost.. Without losing my social life! Thanks so much for your encouragement xx

Yep that's defo my next goal! I'm going to go back to a week one menu this week, lots of fruit, water and veg, hoping for another 2lbs off next weeks weigh in. The weeks are going by so quickly it will be here before I know it xx

The time does fly hun - but you still have to make time for you, and you have done great this week. Im so pleased for you as you were ready to give up. It just shows what a bit of determination can do.

Going back to basics is a great idea, thats whats given me my losses the past few weeks. Not necessarily basics but just writing it all down on here. Im with you for support when you need it hun. Good luck for the week ahead and another cracking loss at the scales x

Thanks Hun, I'm so pleased. Some of my clothes, mainly my tops, are beginning to feel a little roomy too. Can't wait to drop a full size and go shopping! Your stone will be off soon too.. Good luck xx

Oh I do hope so. Going down to next dress size is a great feeling - seeing the difference is brilliant and yes, although I used to think weigh in til weigh in dragged now it zooms and another two months and one stone will vanish in no time - that's quite an exciting thought actually!!'n

Hi Everyone,
Well it weekend again and I have no routine at all lol
Yesterday I had a RED day and had:
Breakfast: WW yoghurt and a fruit salad (apple, kiwi, blueberries, strawberries, pomegranate and passion fruit) and a coffee
Lunch: ham, salad and cottage cheese and a cup of coffee
Tea: chicken, carrots and roasted swede
Syns: 10 syns worth of doritos
Drinks: 3 cups of coffee, 1 cup of tea, 1 pint of NAS
Just realised I didn't have any HEX B's

Today is also a RED day and I plan on eating:
Breakfast: bacon and eggs on 2 small wholemeal toast (1 hex B)
Lunch: not sure yet....
Tea: not sure yet....
As you can see I take weekend as they come, no forward planning at all!

I have a driving lesson at 12:30pm so going to relax until then. Anyone got any plan for the day? xx

I now have a food diary for today!
Breakfast: bacon on toast- 1 hex B
Lunch: WW yoghurts x2 and a punnet of strawberries
Tea: SW chilli and this sounds weird but my OH saw something on some other forum, you grate cauliflower and put it in the microwave for 5 minutes and its supposed to be like rice... it was really nice and to go with chilli on a red day it was perfect. Would definitely have it again.
Syns: wotsits 4.5
Drinks: 2 cups of tea, 1 cup of coffee and 2 pints of NAS

Had a good day today, been to a friends house, she is also doing SW but goes to a group. Was nice to have a catch up for an hour with her. The kids didn't want to come so they stayed at my dads. On the way there Ste said that if I pass my driving test we can go and look at some cars... just as we drove past the fiat garage and I saw the cutest lilac coloured fiat 500! I have got a car now which ste takes me out in, its a clio (I think!) not sure I am ready for a brand new car... I think I need to stick with something I can bash about a bit first lol xx

I have a feeling u will pass hun :D I wouldnt go for new after passing either. My first one was a citroen c3 and i loved it, it was 3 yrs old not much mileage on the clock and very good condition. It was a nifty little car and great to use until I got some experience under my belt so to speak. You have probably heard this lots, but you really dont learn to drive until you have passed your test and go out on your own.

New cars lose value as soon as they leave the forecourt and your insurance will be higher as you will be classed as an inexperienced driver. So a run around may be the best idea until you have been driving a while x

That's what I thought too texty, to be fair I think ste just wants to keep my car, its an older car (well an 02 plate) and he got his brand new last year, he has a kia rio, but he uses mine loads more than his. He said if I get a new one he will get rid of his and have use my clio instead. Its already a bit worse for wear from the previous owner but its a good little car. I know I can drive and my manoeuvres are fine but I get so nervous in the test situation and just panic. it's so frustrating! xx

Try some rescue remedy I used it a few days before my test and on the morning of it too. I dont know if its psychological or not lol. I got very nervous too, I passed 3rd time. I had 2 minors the first time and I think 4 the next, I failed first time 5 mins after leaving the test centre but they cant tell u of course until your done. Apparently I crossed a white line when turning a junction into oncoming traffic. The 2nd time was icy and I got too close to a heavy goods on the highway, he told me I should have overtaken or dropped speed due to conditions.

Its the best thing I ever did passing my test lol x

My driving instructor has been telling me to book this test since I failed the first time in September but I am so nervous in test situations that I just kept putting it off. Just need to get over the fear and get it done, I'm not nervous at all in my lessons and he tells me that he cant teach me anything more than he has done, I just have to pass.

I am looking forward to having the independence to do the little things like doing the food shopping without ste being there and just popping to my friends or whatever. I don't think tests even show a true representation of some ones ability, and that's in everything, not just driving. People who have been driving for years can easily make a mistake one day. xx

Totally agree no one is perfect even the "best" of drivers. I passed 7yrs ago and im nowhere near perfect lol. My last test I thought to myself " ok just treat this as another lesson" the examiner was a little chatty put me at my ease where the other 2 hadnt. My instructor said if he sits back with feet away from the pedals not far into your lesson he is comfy with your driving. He actually sat looking out of the window lol and talked about the scenery

I need someone who will chat to me, there is never a moments silence when I am on my lessons and I drive so much better that way. The examiner really put me on edge last time, I'll die on the spot if I get the same one. My instructor told me that the examiner I had last time had to become an examiner because when he was an instructor all of his pupils left coz he was an @rse! lol x

Lol some are like that. My first one didnt speak at all, apart from giving instructions and telling me I failed. The 2nd didnt speak until I was sitting at the x roads outside the test centre after my test and he had the nerve to ask if id done all my xmas shopping then he failed me pmsl

People are funny creatures!
My dad will be on holiday in Ireland visiting family when I have my test, I think I scared him when I said I would pick him up from the airport if I pass, he said, "oh you don't want to be bringing the kids out at night, ste can pick me up don't worry" LOL. xx

I'm glad someone has... problem is... they all know how dopey I am.

Im sure your far from it - you cant be that dopey, you have learned to drive and your instructor has confidence in you

Morning campers!
I've been awake since 8:30am, read my book for a little while and then made Holly and Tyler beans on toast for their breakfast. I was so tempted to have a nice piece of white warburtons bread with real butter... but I was good and have had a cup of tea. I don't do well with eating in the morning so in about an hour I will have some eggs, bacon, mushroom and tomatoes with toast. I will probably have fruit and yoghurt for lunch and then I think we are having chicken with salad for tea. I think I may try some of the bite sized quiches then I can take some to work tomorrow too.
I haven't got much planned today, Tyler is going to my dads to watch football and at some point I need to go get food for packed lunches (kids back at school tomorrow) and we are going to a local Asian supermarket to top up on herbs and spices. So not a very interesting day at all.
