Everyone has a fat friend... I don't want to be yours! 2013...

Wow well done you on your weight loss, you must be chuffed! It's great to have that in control feeling isn't it?

thanks so much, i am really pleased. I feel so good, I'm so proud of myself, I have usually got to this point and got fed up, lost motiovation and ready for a share bag of crisps but I'm just not interested x

3 bags of sugar or 6 packs of Lard or a tin of sweets .................. GONE FOREVER

Well done nettie you have done fab this week, good luck for the week ahead look forward to seeing next weeks results x

Another day... I think its day 8?! No its day 9!

Not been very good eating wise today... although I have stuck to plan 100% I have hardly eaten anything.
I got up late (8:20am) and had to be in work by 9am, just got there in time! Was straight into paperwork so didn't eat until about 12:15pm, I had a cheese toastie and a tomato mug shot thing, then at about 3pm I had a packet of french fries crisps. I have only had 1 litre of water today too.
Got home and took the dog out for a 30 minute walk which Ste (OH) made pasta in tomato sauce with spinach, courgette, mushrooms and roasted red peppers. Was delicious! I will probably be in bed by 8pm tonight, chilled out with a very good book in my new big comfy bed.

Everyone else had a good day? x

Hi nettie - one of those days eh. At least you haven't gone off the rails because of it so well done.

I had my fruit n fibre for brekkie, Lunch -some slow cooked cold gammon/ham with a hard boiled egg and some cherry tomatoes, followed by red and green grapes.
Tea Home made broth which was absolutely delicious and im stuffed lol

that sounds lovely texty!
I am going to struggle tomorrow I can feel it... I am fine with eating food on plan but I'm not sure I'm eating enough, I certainly havent been having my HEx A and B.

I have got a driving lesson tomorrow at 11:30am, I must eat breakfast before then otherwise I just know I won't eat until tea time. After my lesson we are always out of the door and doing the usual stuff... visiting my dad and shopping etc and then we eat at about 6ish. I must get a meal time routine sorted... funny isnt it that I manage a children's centres and one of the things that we teach families is the importance of routines lol x

Yep a really good one and i found those elusive turkish delight mullers in sainsburys everyone has been searching for. had been to 5 supermarkets before i got them. was meant to be writing an essay but was bored and so went on a search - looking forward to one after my dinner which is quorn peppered steaks, smash and beans. heavy duty dinner but only 0.5 syns and really yummy! back on lots of veg tomorrow. did my c25k run/walk today- pheweee but at least i did it! how do you cope with no food til midday? i'd be chewing the table and would be a right royal b!tc* (really would not be good in my job!) get so moody without food - that must be why i've been so greedy haha! have a good sw weekend

Hi there,
I'd like to try the c25k thing but I am sooo unfit, can't believe I took the dog out earlier, we have had her since June last year and that is the first walk I have taken her on on my own (OH usually takes her out everyday) I'm hoping to do it everyday now.
I have never had a routine with food. Probably why I am so fat, by the time I sit down to eat I am starving and eat junk all night. Some days I am so busy that at about 4pm I will realise I haven't even had a wee all day lol. No chance with that whilst doing SW though, I'm at the loo every 20 minutes!

Hiya i thought id pop in and subscribe :) x

Make sure you have a brekkie nettie its the most important meal - have some beans on toast or some cereal and fruit and a cuppa. Take some fruit out with you to snack on or some velvet crunch or something. Maybe Alpen light bar or something. At least then your having a little something and not going too long without food which cant be good x

I usually take fruit and yoghurt to work but when I am there I just get so busy that the time just flies and I have forgotten to eat.
I am going to plan this so much better for next week. The kids are back at school so I will be in work between 8 and half past as they go to breakfast club 2 days and Ste takes them to school on the other days so he drops me off at work first, I don't have to start work until 9am so I can eat breakfast before I start. Everytime someone makes a cup of tea I am going to eat a piece of fruit or something and then we all have our lunch together anyway which I tend to buy from the community cafe.

I had a sneeky weigh in this morning and it showed another pound off. Got my driving lesson at 11:30... i really dont like driving, failed my test in September and now I just want to give up. I have already been out to the shop today, needed bacon and tea bags. It's quite a nice day, not cold at all so hoping to take the dog out later. May take a walk in our local country park if the weather continues.

Whats everyone else up to today? x

just eating my brekkie/lunch. asda meat free burger, 2 cauldron burgers, beans, mushrooms, eggs - no danger of me not eating enough! it is important to eat a decent amount; I used to do the weighing in at one class and it was the ones who didn't eat enough who didn't lose as much/strayed more easily. one of my consultants used to say she expected the diaries we wrote to be totally full and crammed. I will have a lighter dinner tonight though: quorn pieces with grapes and spring onion mixed with quark/natural yog and curry powder. really yummy. the lady who gave us the recipe used to use chicken and half fat creme fraiche but i've used 3 syns for brunch so don't want to waste any more on stuff like that so i use a mix of quark and yog.

today is day one of three writing an essay on local ecology (i'm distance learning year 2). left it late and panicking big time but have to come on here first of course! had to go to the local nature reserve this morning to buy a book and get some info and now monster brekkie is finished i'm starting but it does mean all day sitting. yawn!! will try to get off big backside and do some zumba. only 3 days til weight in!

Hope your driving lesson went well nettie? Dont give up, it took me 3 attempts to pass mine, I only had between 2 and 4 minors on each and I think my majors were unfair but hey ho. I didnt pass my test until i was 44 so dont give up, its the best thing ive ever done. It gives you so much freedom.

I had a long lie in today so a late brekkie for me, nothing planned today so will probably just do some washing etc and sit on minis whilst watching tv. Lads are up in Glasgow at the footie so house to myself. Im going to re read all my new books as a refresher and plan the weeks meals.

Hi texty, lesson went really well, he just wants me to book my test now but he's been saying that since I failed. I didn't have any lessons in October or December but back on it now. Gonna book my test on payday. I'm sure it will give me so much freedom and my OH must of had enough of being my chauffeur for 8 years lol x

Lol im my OHs chauffer as he doesnt and has no intention of ever learning to drive. He has no patience at all. Go for it girl you can do it a new freer and lighter you in 2013 - 2 targets to aim for x

That's not so bad. With 15 syns to have there is nothing wrong with some crisps for 6 but eating plentiful amounts is definitely the answer, you need to get more food stuffed in before you do stuff! Carrying food with you at all times is essential for me - Alpen Lights, apples, bananas, mugshots etc! I'm studying Global Ecology and Wildlife Conservation at Uni of Leicester but doing it at home in Essex. I'm lazy and only start when I absolutely have to so I have 1500-2500 words to write by Monday midnight oops! I sit here and do some, get a cuppa, do some more, surf the net, read a bit, get some food etc. Not holding out much hope for the quality of these 2 assignments!!! Sure you'll find a 'good' dinner to have - my quickie dinners are quorn based ie peppered steaks with smash and beans or pasta n sauce or a quick stir fry with tofu or pasta and tomato sauce with veg. not very inventive but working f/t and studying doesn't give me much time to cook unfortunately. roll on august when this course finishes!

To be honest if I didnt like my driving instructor I would have quit ages ago, I dont have a lot of patience and want to be able to do everything straight away. Must work on that! lol.
When me and ste first got together 8 years ago he had a boy racer car, it was an MG ZR with huge speakers in the boot etc, I already had my first child when we got together (he was 5 months old) and he had to get rid of his beloved car because the pram didnt fit in the boot... since then he has been taking me everywhere bless him.
I have already got a car, he bought me a clio, I have driven it a few times and love it, I am hoping to pass soon. I should be able to book a test for February.

I finished a uni course in July last year, studying and working full time was a nightmare and I never did my assignments until the week before they were due in, I'd have to book the week off work. I did a post graduate at masters level with wolverhampton uni called National Professional Qualification in integrated childrens centre leadership (NPQICL). I had to go to Bradford for face to face days and the rest was distance learning and mentoring sessions, I was so glad to get it finished. I have never been to uni and dont ever plan on doing any more studying, I am more practical that academic.

I am going shopping tomorrow so will be buying stuff I can keep in my drawer at work and in my handbag x
