Evilpenguin's food diary

Mmm choc oatly not had it in a while I love it! Want a mocha now! X

I had it in a normal style coffee instead of milk the last time I had it but wasn't convinced, so this time I microwaved the oatly and made it like a proper mocha with no water just the oatly  so good! It works so well with the coffee flavour. It's like drinking dark chocolate lol :D

Just stopping by to say hi :wavey: I'm sure I already subscribed but can't find it in my quick links. Think I'm going potty!

Having a film night tonight! Just finished Toy Story, about to watch Akira now :) hence the late food diary post lol.

Jumped on the scales earlier on, they're showing a massive gain, hope it doesn't get worse for WI tomorrow!! Oh well will get it back off next week eh :) silly birthday food!!

EE today, surprisingly ;)

Breakfast: oaty bar (3.5 syns) coffee (HEA)
Lunch: ham sandwich (HEB 1.5 syns) 2 satsumas, banana
Dinner: chilli with superfreeee sauce and brown basmati rice (1 syn choc)
Snacks: banana, apple, Greek muller (0.5 syns) 2 twix ice cream bars (12 syns)
Total syns: 18.5

Over syns cos I ate too many twix ice creams lol. Films require ice cream for optimum viewing pleasure! ;)

Anyway WI tomorrow then fresh start for next week, not going daft or anything tonight just not fussed about the 18 syns today. Probably cos I'm expecting the gain lol oh well :)

I love movie nights especially when icecream and popcorn are involved. Really want to go see hunger games at the cinema but feeling horrible today so need to wait til I'm bit better! X

Awww! You only have a birthday once a year so you should enjoy it, and I totally agree about icecream when watching movies lol! I was dithering over the icecreams in Lidl earlier but ended up with macaroons instead which were very nice :)

Aw chick I hope you're feeling better today? :(

Oh macarons are amazing! I had the ones out of Lidl ages ago, they were really expensive for what you got but I think they were worth it! Loved the pistachio ones :) pretty low syns I think too??

Last night was nice, I love movie nights! Think we are doing it again tonight - gonna watch Toy Story 2 and probably Ghost in the Shell after that! No ice cream left thankfully lol. Too easy to eat! Might convince the bf that we need yoomoo tho hehe!

So, my WI result!! I lost half a pound! :D Pretty pleased with that as I really didn't want a gain! Think my low syn days balanced it out lol. Last night the scales said I'd put on 3lbs so imagine my surprise at a half off this morning lol :)

Would love to lose 2lbs a week for the next few weeks to get into the next stone (18s) and maybe get my 3 stone sticker before my tracker sheet finishes, think I've got 7 more boxes on it before I need to print another one lol. Sad I know! But I remember printing it and thinking I'd not make it past 5 weeks before falling off the wagon - so happy that I have stayed motivated!! I know a stone off in 7 weeks is a challenge so not too fussed if I don't achieve it!

Will post a food diary in a bit! Just gonna go for a shower then play with my new make up lol. Spent my birthday money on a new mascara, BB cream and the bad girl sleek palette! :D I got all that for about £15  :D

Yay fun new things to play with :) which bb cream and mascara did you go for? I fancy some but will need to wait a while yet as just got my sickline extended by 6 weeks so it'll be a while yet before I have any disposable cash lol! X

I got the 17 bb cream, and a collection 2000 mascara. I was going to get the Garnier bb cream but it was just like a moisturiser, it wasn't very tinted! I got the l'oreal one for my bday and it's pretty disappointing as a foundation, it is basically moisturiser with a slight tint, it's great as a moisturiser tho lol. I know bb creams are supposed to be make up without make up but the ones off eBay are way better coverage wise. Probably cos they're made for Asian skin which is darker than my Scottish blue white skin lol. So I thought I'd try the 17 one as when it swatched I could actually see the colour :) and my eBay ones are running out!

Yeh it was cheap eBay ones that I was looking at, don't like foundation if I want a little coverage I usually just use some lush tint (think its called colour supplement got it free with a voucher out a magazine lol) mixed with moisturiser and it's pretty good :)

Oh and once I got a cheap collection2000 mascara as a cheap replacement coz I had lost my good one and it was amazing!

You'd probably like the Garnier and l'oreal ones then! I need coverage or else I look ill. The 17 one is ok, it's a little orangey but that's in my room I haven't seen it in day light properly lol.

Yeah the c2000 stuff is usually alright, I got the really cheap £2 one lol. It doesn't feel any different to the £7 maybelline one I usually get! May be converted lol.

Didn't play with the bad girl palette as I've put my new dress on which is red so I wanted neutral make up - played with the goldy peach colours from the original palette. Me likey! The ones I used remind me of the gold/bronze colours in the urban decay deluxe palette - very good dupes for those and about half the price.

Oh I almost bought the lace blush palette I was talking about, but omg - soooo bright!! Not neutral at all lol. The purple ones are amazing! Would totally wear those if I had the right colouring! Their lipsticks are amazing too! Want them all!!!

Was your eBay one skin79 by any chance? That's the one I fancy trying :) yeh I'm the same with makeup when I see it I want it all! X

Yep skin79, this is the one I use [SKIN79] Intense Classic Balm Premium BB Cream SPF35 | eBay

And I use this one too [SKIN79] THE ORIENTAL GOLD SPF25 PA++ BB CREAM 40g - tu | eBay but the coverage isn't as good for me, it's much lighter, like the garnier/l'oreal ones.

I sometimes mix them with my foundation, mostly so it isn't sat there going to waste lol, but I usually don't have time for that faff so it goes on as foundation by itself - they both do the trick! Probably gonna buy my usual one when I get my bursary but thought I'd use my bday money to try out a UK brand :)

Food diary - EE today.

I bought popcorn at the shop  the microwaveable stuff, was only £1 for 3 85g bags! I worked out the syns as 17 for one 85g pack... so if shared that would only be 8.5, not bad! I doubt we'll share though lol. I've only had half a syn today so if I do have a whole bag I'll still be within syns! (I've gone back to 17.5 seeing as I seemed to have limited damage with my loss this morning hehe!)

Breakfast: coffee (HEA) oaty bar (HEB)
Lunch: greek muller (0.5 syns) banana
Dinner: chicken & vegetable curry with brown basmati rice ***
Snacks: popcorn (12 syns worth) Greek muller (0.5 syn) velvet crunch (4 syns) twister lolly (2 syns)
Total syns: 19

*** I did have meals planned but some idiot forgot to take out mince during the week so it all got mixed up, then we forgot to take out the fish we were gonna have today so we decided to be random and make a curry! Syn free, love it :D

I honestly thought I'd had more to eat than that yesterday  I staved off boredom eating all day, was having a bit of a lazy one, then we realised we'd lost an hour lol... ended up going to a friend's house to pick something up, stayed longer than expected and the rest of the evening was manic - eventually had dinner at 8.45pm  so that's why I didn't eat all my syns!

Feel a bit sick this morning :( probably all the worrying I'm doing about college/having no job/generally not enjoying things. Hmph!

Something to look forward to though... going to a wedding at the end of August - 22 weeks away I think (who's counting eh:rolleyes:) and anyway I thought of how much weight I could lose by then  would be amazing to lose 40 odd pounds by then, would also mean my total loss would be about 70 pounds :D aaahhh so exciting!!! Totally not putting pressure on myself though. Would be quite happy with 1lb off a week! Feel like I can do more though so will try my best :) I freaking love weddings! I am probably more excited than the bride....

I haven't been to a wedding in agesss...not as a guest anyway, last one I was at I was the photographer even though I'm not a pro xD I'd love to go to a wedding now just so I have an excuse to dress up and go "look how much weight i've lost" haha

Haha that's cool! Have always been interested in photography but I can't afford a decent camera lol.

Nah I've not been to one in ages either. Some people there will be folk I haven't seen in ages, so weight loss will be flaunted ;) haha! :D

Can you tell it's the week before pay day? Hardly 1/3 superfree going on here lol. Next week I will be back to my usual veggie mountain with every meal lol. Got a bag of satsumas, 4 bananas and a couple of apples to do me until Friday - so fruit snacking is limited. Having quorn bolognese tomorrow which will be packed with superfree (so chuffed at our frozen batch of superfree sauce, has lasted so long!) So dinners are ok veg wise, tonight wasn't, but there's not much you can do with a salmon & chive pasta tbh  Veggie delivery on Weds though so loads more superfree coming my way :D

Anyway. Have had sort of good day SW wise I think? Not a good day life wise lol. Started off really well, I got a phone call about a job interview and sorted out some college stuff that had been bothering me for a while now... then it all went to pot! Just keeping my fingers crossed that I find a job soon and we can move back out and into our own place. After I find out what uni funding I'll get. Anyway - that's another stress for another day

Ending on a positive note - had a sneaky peek on the scales and they're showing a 3lb loss. Would be over the moon if they stayed like that until WI on Saturday!!! But like I've said before I'd be happy with a pound off a week! :D

 woah this place has changed! So weird lol. Will take a bit of getting used to!

Just home from a job interview, it went pretty well! But like every other job interview I've been to in the last 7 months, I am not holding my breath!

GREEN today!! :D

Breakfast: coffee (milk part HEA) chewee bar thing (5 syns)
Lunch: homemade lentil soup, coffee (rest of HEA)
Dinner: quorn bolognese with superfreeeee sauce
Snacks: toast with jam (HEB plus 2.5 syns) Greek muller (0.5 syn) banana, more toast (HEB2 plus 2 syns for marshmallow fluff)
Total syns: 10
