Oh I was about to say I've not tried anything new, but I tried the savoury semolina. I'll see what I can find for next week
Here it is, taro root, it was nice, like potato, but a bit creamy <img src="http://www.minimins.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=152874"/>
That looks tasty Michelle x
It was an odd mixture, the cabbage needed using up, but it really was very nice, I covered the taro root in curry powder & it was so nice, next time I'm there I'll pick it up again.
No, it's odd really & the texture is firm to soft, if you see it in a shop it's worth buying to try, it was 69p for those two I got, so not too bad really.
Tried pepino melon .., 2 quid wasted no taste and very much like the texture of a pear. Disappointed.com
Grrrr, but at least you've tried it now!!!!

Yes, I've tried those and found them a bit disappointing (they aren't really a melon - they are from the solanum family, potatoes and tomatoes, etc.)
Other things I have found which look interesting but don't taste of much, are dragon fruit and star fruit. Look lovely in a fruit salad, but they are a bit boring on their own.
Will have to shop around this week see what takes my fancy hehe
Im always on the look out for new stuff to try, I need a trip to the Asian and Polish shop!!!!!
Your a lot more adventurous than me Michelle lol maybe thats my problem x
Ha, ha, Bob does say I'll eat anything and it's true I will try most things!!!
