Right, I've done the shred....now your turn?

Not a bad weigh in result, half on is nothing, well done, nearly there :)

Now I feel really guilty lol! I will do it tomorrow. I think it's the motivation to get started that's the problem then I should (hopefully) keep at it. I've heard it's pretty hardcore so I think that's putting me off. Plus the fact that I'm lazy!

Hi hun, I came across your diary this afternoon, thought i'd read back a couple of pages.. and ended up reading all 25 pages of your food diary! I love your approach to SW and that you still allow yourself the occasional treat.
I'm just going to grab a cuppa and then have a look at your blog for some meals inspiration:D xx

Thanks hun glad you enjoyed it. I hope you find something you like!

The recipe blog is literally a record of the SW recipes I've tried so far and would make again as I literally forgot everything I ate before going travelling. Some are from MiniMins and some are from the SW mags (with some adaptations) and some are my own. The carbonara is one that you must try! It's so good and hard to believe that it's free!

Wow and well done on your weightloss, that's amazing!

Yeah sure I got it from the Takeaway Faves recipe book that came with one of the recent SW mags.

Ingredients for 2 servings
1 tbsp thai red curry paste
75ml light coconut milk
150ml chicken stock
2 chicken breasts, sliced
frylight
I used... (but you can use whatever asian-style veg you like)
babycorn
red onion
mangetout
red pepper
spring onion

1. Wok fry the chicken and veg in frylight until the chicken is cooked through and the veg soft. Set aside.
2. Put the curry paste into the wok and add the stock and coconut milk, stirring until combined.
3. Add the cooked chicken and veg to the wok and leave to simmer for 5 minutes or so. Serve!

It should be 2 syns per serving. The one I made was more as I put more coconut milk in, which I wouldn't recommend!

You can have 375ml skimmed milk or 45g reduced fat cheddar as your HEXa choice. I have both and normally halve or split my cheese allowance into 2/3rds so I can include the milk I have in my tea in my daily HEXa allowance.

Let me know if you have any more questions as I'm happy to help!

Mind you do! - I'll be shredding again tomorrow. It's ok really, just go for it :)

Well done to OH on his 1.5lb off, he's doing well.

Didn't the milk allowance go up to 400mls for skimmed?

I had Thai curry tonight too! But a green one! Was super spicy! The pastes from the Asian supermarket are always about 5x spicier! With tofu fried rice, was super nice :) xx

I'm not sure - I got that from the food diary on the SW website. Just checked again and it says 375ml. I/it could be wrong though as it may not have been updated. Does anyone who goes to group know?

I should definitely check out an Asian supermarket as your food always sounds so exciting. Do you have any ideas of what to do with Thai red curry paste aside from curry? Sounds like a stupid question but there is loads left in the jar as I only used 1 tbsp.

I just put some Magic Porridge in the fridge for breakfast. I haven't had any since pre-travelling. I'm very excited for breakfast now!

Make some Thai fish cakes, add about a tbsp to crab and potato and spring onion and make into little cakes and oven bake or fry in fry light. :) it's a goodun!

thx for the help
