Extra Easy Online - attempting to maintain!

Just ordered some clothes I shouldn't have ordered - whoops. Hopefully I won't like them and I'll have to send them back (or not lol)!

Here's what my jelly/mullerlight concoction looks like. I'm yet to try it as planning to have some for pud. Hope it's nice!

Oh and seeing as I can never find asda chickpea dahl I'm going to make a batch of this up at some point next week. The OH has been working from home this week but is away again next week so I can experiment with veggie foods. Saying that I'll probably end up chucking some chicken in!

Today went ok at the uni. It's certainly not the type of job I want to do long term but it's a start. I'm basically doing a secretarial role within the physics department so everyone is a lot older and I don't have much in common with most of them and I'm in an office on my own. Ideally when I get a permanent job I'd like to be working with people of a similar age range and with similar interests so I can make friends. I'm a sociable person so wouldn't enjoy working alone all day but it's only for a month. I won't be applying for the permanent role put it that way. I'm also going to continue to look and apply for roles outside of the uni too and hope that the agencies I'm registered with can find some interesting roles for me too!

Ive made something similar to this. You make jelly with less water than normal and then stir in a muller light and blitz together. Then let it set over night. It turns out like a mousse! Its so cool.

Thats before i put it in fridge. I think i blitzed it too much as it had a layer of froth. It turned out really well :)))

It's weird (to me at least) how many syns I spend on chocolate now. I have chocolate everyday whereas before I'd probably have it once a week if that. Maybe it's because it felt so naughty but now I can control it!?

A woman at work who goes to group gave me a good idea that I'm testing out tonight. Sugarfree jelly w/ mullerlight. You semi set the jelly then stir through a mullerlight and put it back in the fridge to set and it will come out like a blancmange. I've used strawberry jelly/mullerlight and put some fresh strawberries in too. I'll let you all know how it turns out!

Your food looks amazing. It always does! I feel luke your syns go a long way :)))

Do you find yourself feeling hungry on extra easy? I started on Tuesday and I feel like all I'm doing is eating!

I just eat when I'm hungry which varies from day to day and some days I can be very hungry lol! I've never had to starve myself on EE as that's definitely not the point. If your eating when you're hungry and not going over syns then I wouldn't worry too much. Have you got a food diary? x

Thanks hun. I think that's just because I have low syn/free meals and that way I have plenty of syns for snacks. The choc cravings seem to hit straight after dinner! I eat so much chocolate now compared to what I used to!

I don't feel like I'm starving myself I just feel like I'm always eating and I'm still hungry!

Just had a look at your diary and it's looking great. It doesn't look to me like you're eating too much, but if you're finding that you're still hungry after meals maybe try bulking them out more with extra superfree? As you can see from my diary I snack a lot and I have generous portions most of the time (although I do measure rice and pasta as I'll eat everything that is on my plate) but I haven't found it to affect my weightloss. I know everyone is different though. Good luck and I'll keep reading x

We might be going out for drinks tonight, in which case I'll be over syns but now that my 2 weeks are up and I'm back to 9st 11lbs I'm going to try to relax at the weekends (within moderation) and follow the plan strictly in the week. I'm such a control freak so sometimes this is easier said than done!

(I've had 2 HEXbs today too)

I made the dhansak using this recipe -

It was a bit bland so next time I'm going to add a knorr chicken stock cube, more tomato puree and a tbsp of curry powder.

You measure rice and pasta i had no idea??

What do mean by that? Like how much would you 'allow' yourself as EE doesn't require we do that with rice and pasta etc x

I weigh carbs too, I always go by packet guidelines so I know I'm not over eating. I think it's 65g uncooked rice per person. That's for brown. Pasta is a similar amount I think, and I use the wholewheat noodles nests and 1pp, as trying to breakup packs of noodles is annoying!

I have never seen wholewheat noodles, only egg ones. Will look out for these. :)

Blue dragon do then, I've gotten them in tesco and asda before x

It's not a rule just something I do as if I cook enough for 2 and it's on my plate then I'll eat it as I love rice and pasta. I've always done that even before SW.

Same as charl I just weigh the amount according to the packet instructions - 60g raw rice and 90g raw pasta but that's just what it says on the back of my current bag of pasta so you might have more/less than that.

I had that dessert before and remember being disappointed by it. I don't remember why though! I think mine was too melted when I ate it so it was just three or four spoonfuls of sweet goo.

I saw a cool recipe recently for SW ice cream. You get two muller light toffee yoghurts and mix with fat free fromage frais and mix in a crushed bag of treat size mateasers and put in the freezer but give it a stir every hour or so so it doesn't form icy bits. It's supposed to be lovely :)

Or forero rochet for 1 syn used by crushing ryvita and mixing with melted nutella and forming little balls and puttin in the fridge to cool. I plan to try these soon :)

I adore frozen yoghurt. I got completely addicted to it whilst we were travelling. This is what I ate whenever I got the chance!
