First ever VLCD

Morning gorge!

Its been like constant but to be fair it's not a hard job, just feel like I'm never not there haha. Weekend I've got loads planned, I'm redecorating the front room, new floor, new suite and everything so I'll be busy but I'd rather it be like that then sitting around watching Jezza!!

Congrats on 10lbs, that's amazing!! Told you it would be more this morning, you better be proud of yourself! I'm not weighing until Easter so I won't know how much I've lost in my first week. Weighing for me gets me down, like you felt yesterday but worse, I'm not putting myself through it. I'm just getting on then seeing the results after my 88 days of 100%. That way I can focus more on seeing the physical changes too, be happy with dropping dress sizes instead of flapping over a couple of pounds. I'm finding it really easy at the min, we'll just see how I get on!!

thank you honey!! i am really proud of myself!!! i felt like crap yesterday but it was a mixture of things i think!!! didnt get much sleep in the end and am pleased those extra couple of 1lbs came off :) thank you for your advice!!! omg thats such a good idea!!! imagine not weighing for 88 days and then being down like two stone brackets............just all of a sudden your there!!! im so tempted to join you?! 83 days left is that right?! xxx

hehe when we moved into our apartment (sep 2012) it is brand new so the walls were just white!!! it was like heaven.....getting the wallpaper up and then our sofa in and dining table and then our bedroom, and spare room!! loved it!!!! but we took 2 1/2 weeks off work to move........we were so excited we finished withing 9 days!! haha so we got our puppy :)!!! actually when we first got it the floors were concrete!!! so how much its changed is amazing!! love it!!

Sounds lush! I saw some pictures and it does look really nice, and your puppy is sooooo cute!! I'm planning on getting a pug, the pug fund is set up, just not much funds in there at the min haha.

I'm glad you're giving it a go! No more getting disheartened by amazing losses! We'll just have to go off how we actually look rather than the numbers which I think is a better motivator anyway. I'm going to enjoy a creme egg when I'm done, only one, but I'll be switching to ww so can count it in as a syn. It's a planned treat, I'm accounting for it therefore its part of my diet. I found this quote to prove it haha...

"There is NOT ONE single food that you can eat while you’re off track that you can’t also eat when you’re on track. When you’re working on healthy eating, it’s true that you probably can’t eat as much of it as you want, but certainly any food can be worked into your diet in reasonable portions. This weekend, work on eating your favorite food in a reasonable way."

Obviously doesn't apply when we're on such a strict diet, but when we're going solo it definitely does! Something to look forward to!

ive joined the easter challenge thread but realised im away Thurs and Fri in stupid cornwall and cant s&s 100% due to being there but will low carb! feel like i've failed before i've begun!!! but i suppose im not going off the rails having anything i want............!!! so im still 100% dieting and its half of thursday and Fri till about 9ish! xxx

Why don't you take packs with you and stick as much as you are able to. Loads of people go on holiday and stay on the diet. It you do break it then low carbing is definitely the way to go xx

Can't unfortunately as in a navy base all day :( and no where to make my packs (only eat the meals not the shakes). So will just low carb xxxx

Sooooooo... Today I decided to have 2 packs in work today rather than my usual 3 simply because I want to have a hot choc shake before bed. Worst thing I could have done. 3 and a half hours before my shift ended, both packs gone, one of my colleagues bought FIVE Dominoes pizzas, pretty much one in every flavour, for the whole office. Then there was mini rolls going round on top of that. I was the ONLY person in the office not to have any. So bloody chuffed. I'm in the diet zone and even a worst case scenario a la today can side track me.

Mac and cheese now, the fact I've been waiting so long for it is gonna make it take even better than usual haha.

Well done! I had two packs thismorning & forgot packs for work! Managed to stay on it and rammed my face with swede chips & cottage cheese tonight!

You must really be in the zone to avoid dominoes! X brilliant! X

Had my mac and cheese and tasted better than any pizza, that's what I'm telling myself anyway. I'm gonna make my next order on Thursday and considering being more experimental with my flavours. At the minute I'm only having strawberry and chocolate shakes and the mac and cheese. Out of all the flavours I only like 3! Haha.

Does anyone else have 3 shakes a day? Do all the packs have the same nutritional value? Because I don't want to be doing myself over but this is the easiest way for me to do it because of work etc.

I saved a shake to have hot in my hot chocolate mug later but I want an early night and I'm absolutely stuffed. I've just had my pack with 1 pint of water, 2 small glasses of Dr Pepper Zero and a cup of tea. The thought of drinking any more makes me feel ill!

Funny how once you've set your mind to it you can just keep going no problem

Woo!!

That's what I keep telling myself!! Once I was over the initial shock of the pizza entering the building, the smell filling the room and every single person jumping to get some I actually felt fine. I felt much better having left it than I would have done feeling guilty about eating it. A minutes worth of pleasure isn't worth a lifetime of guilt haha.

Im hoping I stay this way, it is still only day 6, I'm hoping the elusive wobble doesn't come!
