Flutter's Diary

Oh my goodness have been so hungry today been nibbling on this and that all day and drinking loads to try and fill me up - totm due so hopefully it's just that!
Planning tomorrow's meals so I make sure I'm eating enough.
GGGrrrrr am in a bad mood due to hunger!

I had a couple of days like that this week for the same reason Flutter - see the today thread for what I ate yesterday (or should that be the yesterday thread?) - basically everything in the fridge which wasn't nailed down!

its great you have yours on your sig bren - bet you are real proud. Had you been overweight for a long time or had it gradually increased over time?

Well, I once got down to about 10 stone when I was 18 lol - so for the last 30 years I have been between a 20 and 24 dress size - this is the first time in my real adult life that I have ever been so small - and loving it :D just wish at 18 I had known what I know now about maintenance - I just went back to my old eating habits and it piled back on within months - ah well, you live and learn  and yes, I am really proud of myself :D

Morning Lesley, morning all.

Morning Jim and morning all.
Bren you are rightly proud of yourself what you achieved (and are maintaining which is often harder) is amazing!

More snow here overnight (pic to follow ....)

Hopefully not so hungry today :p

B - sausage, egg
L - posh prawn cocktail only posh cos it had smoked salmon in, salad, tomato, cucumber still sooooo hungry though!
D - chicken braemar and veggies

Chicken fillets stuffed with haggis Vicky, we used to get served that for Lunch on Burns day in the Mess.

That photo looks all pretty Lesley.

Erm, that can't be legal though, all that barley?

That's chicken balmoral Jim and that is quite high in carbs, chicken braemar is chicken breast stuffed with black pudding comes with a peppercorn sauce (that I freeze and use on my steaks instead) and only 3g carbs per serviing - yummy!!
I get it in Asda.

ooh wonder if they do it down here cant find it on the website. is it in the chilled ready to cook bit?

It's normally beside their ready to cook meals (you know the ones that are 2 for £5) in fact the chicken braemar is 2 for £5 so you could have 4 meals for £5!
You could always make your own, slice of black pud and chicken breast and make your own peppercorn sauce (or Asda pre-made is ok carb wise!)

oh i wonder if its just a local thing to you as asda near me do chicken parmesan (or parmo) and they dont do them elesewhere.

MMM SOUNDS YUM :) i love black pudding too.

what they do black pudding at chippy? omfg! stop ive been thinking about fish and chips alllll week - more than pizza LOL
just been looking at black pudding and its not that bad carb wise. 15g for 2 slices at tesco. will be getting some next week when im at goal! ;)
