Food diary & Thursday weigh ins on simply filling

wednesday 22nd may

b- porrige, raspberries, blueberries & gs

l- chicken breast sanwich made with 2 x ww bread

d- spanish type casserole, using olive oil, bacon (no fat) chicken breast, onions, carrots, butternut squash, cannelini beans, fresh basil & parsley, paprika & smoked paprika & seasoning & homemade garlic & thyme focaccia bread ,i'll point that when i know how much ive eaten as not had dinner yet :) x

i have eaten it and i had 1 & half pieces as so nice, i worked it out to be (6pp)

14g of dark choc for later (2)
tiny slither of homemade victoria sponge (2)
49/49 wk used

atomic it was absolutely lovely (even though i say so myself) i made it up this afternoon and for once i have actually written down the recipe as it was so nice as i always think oh i'll remember that recipe and mostly i don't, there were quite a few more ingredients that i ahd left out of above info so i shall post it here for you as i know ur on diff eating atm but its pro point free on sf woohoo, the bread was yummy too and it was first time making this one but i remeber from the great british bake off that paul hollywood saying to use all the water from his recipe and it was very wet indeed but it came out so light and had lots of holes init, i also followed his advice on not to flour the worktop but olive oil it instead which stops it drying out :

spanish style paprika chicken & bacon cassolet ( no pp on sf)

1/2 red onion
1/2 white onion
2 x carrots cubed
1 x red pepper cubed
bacon pieces (fat removed)
3 x chicken breasts cubed
1/3 of a butternut squash cubed
handful of porrige oats (used instead of flour for thickening)
heaped tsp of smaked paprika
heaped tsp of paprika
salt & pepper
tin of chopped tomatoes
jar of passata
tomato puree
3 x tsp of sweetener
splash of balsamic vinegar
splash of worcesrer sauce
tin of cannelini beans
tsp of oregano
basil & parsley fresh

In a large deep pan, sweat onions down,add carrots & bns, then meats & paprikas then add oats then all other ingredients until cooked, add a little water if it becomes too thick :) & only one pan to wash up, result !

there won't be a diary til monday now as going to a music festival from tomorrow for the wkend, food temptation city, but i think im going to take chicken with me to do something with and noodles etc and of course my trusty porrige as it fills me up in the mornings :)

lots of water
sk milk for coffees (2)

b- coffee no breakfast :eek: as got up late :)

l- turkish spiced chicken sandwich on 2 x ww bread (7)
1/2 pack velvet crunch (1)
sm bowl of raspberries & blueberries

d- pollack in seasoned flour (2)

1/2 tin of mushy peas

i still haven't had dinner as waiting for oh to get in and is going to be at least another hour so had a cupboard clearing snack attack but still within pp for day, this is why i do sf lol
other half of velvet crunch (1)
sm slice of homemade cake (2)
4 x gingernuts (7)

omg i cant stop eating - this is post dinner and im not even due on , what the hells going on tonght, i do hope its because i skipped breakfast !!

yes serena i think il be taking them as looks rainy yet again although have actually got some washing dry today!! wellies on hand ready for glastonbury in june too as they are usually needed !!!

well things didn't go well last night and although i tracked everything i ate i was on an eating mission that just just wouldn't stop, i used all my weeklies :break_diet:but am back on track today, i dont know what was going on lol but i will not miss my porrige for breakfast ever again, love goldilocks x

thanks serena, i feel fine today and will just forget yesterday, luckily it was on weigh in day so i have time to redeem myself before next weigh in but if i don't lose i only have myself to blame and i felt rotten after eating it all, ho hum well i have been 100% for ten weeks so one blip is a misdemeanor really !!

i saw you had lost 3lbs, well done x

Well done on the 2lb loss. You really are motoring on towards target at the moment :) I am sure one evening's mishap won't affect things by next week's weigh in.

this was a fairly small festival but 'british sea power' were there, disappointing, 'public service broadcasting', brilliant & the 'meow meows' brilliant, lots of bands from around brighton, 'rosco levvy & southern slide' and a really nice band called 'hatful of rain' double base, violin & banjo type band, bought their cd for driving our camper to! all in all a brilliant weekend, not a lot of food outlets, so healthy choices were limited, on the friday night i cooked spicy noodles and a friend was supposed to be coming out with more chicken but let us down so had to do a damage limitation weekend, i had a burger, 1/2 a very thin wood oven pizza, some chicken satays & a chicken satay burger so wasnt too bad although i can definately feel it around my stomach area and wouldn't in the slightest be surprised if i put on this week but ah well !! i shall be back on it today as its not long til i go to glastonbury and i had aimed to be 11st 7lbs by then so this wk may have set me back but we shall see, i may go back to wk one on thursday and do that wks food, although that is on scraps of paper in a very muddly order hahahaha x

Good Afternoon Sweetie, sounds as though you had a nice time, how was the weather? I think your food choices were great given the circumstances, I always struggle at food outlets as most veggie choices include chips or cheese! PS-Out of interest is the first week thing a set meal plan? Do you lose more with that than following the plan normally? X
 
Glad you had a good time. Haven't heard of any of those bands which makes me feel very out of touch ;)

There are always times when we can't control the food that is available and it really is just about making the best choices we can, which it sounds like you very much managed. Fingers crossed it doesn't affect your target for Glastonbury.
 
well after my binge last thursday where i ate all my weeklies and then two days of damage limitation eating at the festival and eating a load of rubbish on monday after getting back, i have been very good for the last two days eating wise, i havent been counting points or sf but have eaten healthily and am amazed that i have a STS :D i couldn't be more pleased hahaha as when i got back from festival i had put on 2lbs !! so onwards and upwards it is. x
 
Well done on the STS, sounds like you pulled things back well this week. I thought you had been quiet, sure you will have a much better week this week.

Hi atomic yes pleased with that this week, back on sf since yesterday but i may just do the odd post as apart from you really no one replys lol so will just use my notepad to do food diary and will record weight still on here :p
