Ergh sorry to hear that hun,the scales are being very unfair to you! Ok bout update your diary still, hope something works for you soon :0)
Never even heard of them TBH but defo worth a try!! Can I be personal and ask in what way you're affected with your IBS?Can you get Psyllium husks over there? You have a teaspoon in water once (or twice) a day - must have water with it and drink plenty too. I've been taking it for about a month now to help with my IBS - it's brilliant. You can get it in tablet form I think - names like Lepicol and Metamucil or Metamicil, but I buy the loose stuff in a bag - cheaper, and I always feel the nearer to natural form the better. I can't rate it highly enough - I've had IBS for over 30 years and it's the best thing I have ever tried for it. Might not work for everybody, but might be worth a look. I only have a 'bathroom problem' (keeping it tasteful!) of any kind now if I forget to take it for a few days and/or have too much wheat.
(It is a bit like drinking the water retaining granules you get for hanging baskets, in a cup of water, but tasteless, and worth it IMO!)
Dubchick81 said:10:30 and I'm not hungry AT ALL for brekkie.. Force myself to have some.. or just leave it???
I don't think it's a real gain because you haven't eaten an excess 7000 cals, i think it's just water weight hun x
I think you're just upset and that's why you have no appetite, maybe have something small like a piece of fruit or just a glass of fruit juice
Have something little like a yoghurt or fruit will help with blood sugars and stop the snack attack later

Just coz you know the way some people go too much...and other get clogged!! (sorry ppl.. I know its a horrible subject!)
Just coz obv if you're the opposite to me, what works for you, mightn't for me as we're looking for different results...
Where do you buy them? Chemist / health food store / supermarket??
Sounds good.. Gona take down the name of it and check the local health food shops.. I'm sure if they dont stock it they can order it!?! Maybe...
Yep, no problem. I'm both - I swing between 'too much' and 'not enough.' Get sudden urges to go, often in the middle of a meal, when you know it's not that meal that's being digested, as it's far too soon, but obviously the eating/digesting must get something moving! I can go three times in the space of 20 mins - first time will be 'normal' second time might be a real struggle, then third time like diarrhoea. (it's not the nicest of subjects, but someone else might be reading who can get something from it too, but may not like to ask!) Certain fruit and veg in combo set off the really bad griping pains/vomiting for 24 hrs, but fortunately over the years I've learned to mostly regulate that side of it by watching what foods I eat and when.
The psyllium husks are a form of soluble fibre. This bit's from Wikipedia....
Psyllium seed husks also known as ispaghula, isabgol, or psyllium, are portions of the seeds of the plant Plantago ovata, (genus Plantago), a native of India. They are hygroscopic, expanding and becomemucilaginous. Ayurveda recommends its use for colon cleansing/ bowel regulation as well as for better blood circulation.
Psyllium seed husk are indigestible and are a source of soluble dietary fiber. They are used to relieve constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, anddiarrhea. They are also used as a regular dietary supplement to improve and maintain regular GI transit. The inert bulk of the husks helps provide a constant volume of solid material irrespective of other aspects of the diet or any disease condition of the gut. Some recent research is also showing them to be promising in lowering cholesterol and controlling diabetes.[SUP][1]
So it looks like it might work whichever side of the IBS joys you suffer with!
My local health store owner takes it for her diverticulitis. I reckon my symptoms have improved by about 90% since I started taking it.
You can get it over here from some chemists and from health stores, also on Amazon - doubt whether you'd get it from a supermarket, but not looked. I paid £4 (English pounds sterling) for a pack, which seems to be going on for ever!
