Only on the very odd occassion when we bump into people and he's in a "I don't know them, i'm not chatting" humour.. Most of the time its OK God, I've made him sound really rude.. He's not.. Well, most of the time ha ha..

He's a little more chatty than he used to be.. Before, the first I was with him, we'd meet someone while out shopping for instance, and he'd carry on walking so he didn't have to even say hello, never mind chat.. Now he at least stands with us and greets the person.. Must have been the couple of years travelling he done.. lol

Exactly.. Being honest, we finished over a stupid argument.. but he always wanted to travel and I didn't so it was grand how it worked out.. And we couldn't be happier now..
Also a great comfort to know my Mam approved of him

My bloke is a disaster when it comes to my friends. well he will chat away to strange girls with a lot of ease. And girls he's very friendly with. Which is a lot, he's quite the charmer and a huge flirt. (hell get pissy with me for not being friendly- hard when I know.at least 3 of them would happily get with him if they had the chance regardless of me!!) Buuuut when it comes to chatting to my friends hell stand like a poker with the rudest look on his face. And them ***** like crazy about how rude they are. May end up strangling him one day lol xx

When we finished tho we always remained friends.. Even when he was travelling we'd send the odd email to catch up n see how each other was doing.. N he was straight on the phone the morning my Mam died to check I was OK and offer an ear.. (He was in Canada at the time)
Then when he came home it was only meant to be temporary. His brother was getting married in Italy so he went there, then came home to save up more money to go back to Canada.. We met up for a drink to catch up while he was home and clicked again.. N have been back together since..

Really glad there is some positive progress on the house front. Any news from the offers yet? Stringer's outing sounds much fun, eavesdropping on your OH being chatted up is quite funny I find, although there have been occassions when a little "help" from the OH would have been appreciated rather than just sitting back smirking!

Think its a really nice story how you and Jonathon got back together after some time apart. Me and my husband had a sort of similar thing - we got together in sixth form and ended up randomly going to the same city for Uni, during our second year at uni we broke up for sixth months. We were living together at the time (although in a shared house with separate rooms) and only really changed the way we behaved with each other for about 5 days so really in hindsight it was only ourselves we were kidding with our "break up" but I do think without that time apart we wouldn't be where we are now. Sometimes you just need that little bit of distance to truly appreciate how awesome the other person is.

We were together 3.5years. Finished 7 years n back together 3 years in about 6 weeks I think.

Well it's not really an anniversary is it?! We're not married or anything so we're not "celebrating" any bug occasion. N can't pinpoint the exact day we decided "ok we're not just seeing each other now. We're officially a couple"
