Fresh start diary

Evening!

Well worked this morning but we got out early for good behaviour as the sun was shining and it was over 20 degrees! OH had cleaned the house from top to bottom when I got back so treated him to a drink in the beer garden of our local whilst tea roasts in the oven. I had a double vodka diet coke and we've got some vodka in to have tonight- will allow myself up to 15syns worth but no more!
I've got a bit of toothache from the stupid wisdom tooth that is coming through so eating has been hard today :-(

Breakfast
Fruit salad of apple, tangerine, grapes, pineapple and strawberries (only ate about a third)

Lunch
Noodles, peppers and chicken breast (ate about 2/3s)

Tea
Trying pulled pork, chips and steamed veg in pitta (HeX B)

I liked the pork (as much as I can like anything with this tooth pain!) but didn't like the sauce in the mag that's meant to go with it. I found that quite bitter and no amount of sweetener helped. Next time would do the pork and probably have it with a huge salad and pitta bread x
 
Morning!

Well today is a funny old day. We're meeting my parents in Scarborough for the day as they're heading to the east coast for a few days for dad's birthday. Should be lovely as the weather is gorgeous. Food wise I'm planning ways to survive the seaside!

Sweet couscous made with water instead of milk

Lunch
WW pitta with cheese (no super free I know but I'm on the go so if I pass a shop selling any I'll grab some)

Tea
Prawn stirfry with noodles
 
Well change of plan, we're having a BBQ! I had some mushy peas with my pitta but resisted all the seaside treats like doughnuts and ice cream. Having EL mince burgers, WW sausages and loads of salad. 1 syn for sausages, 1 syn for salsa and 5 syns on 2 vodkas. Happy with that ;-)

Thanks :) just heading to bed now before my early shift in the morning. Had lunch and breakfast prepared to take with me then going spinning again before tea. This week has flown by cant believe weigh in is this close. I don't feel like I've made any sort of dent in last week's gain but I've stayed on plan in spite of some difficult situations this week so that's a positive to take away. I've got a night out planned on Saturday- sticking to vodka diet coke (with the odd shot thrown in no doubt!) but I'm using up to 60 syns that day and cutting back for the rest of the week. Also hoping to do more exercise this week. I'm going to set myself a goal each thursday for the week body magic wise and try to stick to it so I'm doing something active!

I'm also trying a few red days next week to see what difference that makes if any, and also to see if I can tolerate life without major carbs!

Random question- scan bran cake. Can this be used as my healthy extra or is it just synned?

Early shift for me today which generally I prefer but it was so hard getting out of bed at 5.45! Spinning tonight so need some energy for that!

Wholemeal roll (HEX B) with cheese (HEX A) and pastrami and salad, tomato and herb mugshot

Pre-spinning snack
Raspberries and strawberries

Tea
Spicy prawn stirfry and noodles (loads of super free in this!)

Might indulge in a creme egg cornetto at 8 syns
 
Random question- scan bran cake. Can this be used as my healthy extra or is it just synned?

the scan bran i make is used as my HEb unless i'm using them for something else and if that's the case i just syn the wee slice i have.
i just use 5 scan bran, eggs, sweetener and a muller light and i cut mine into 10 slices....so 5 slices is half my B choice or 0.5 syns if i've had my HEb already.
i've been enjoying a bit of it crumbled through fruit and yog so don't mind synning a wee slice for that but when it's my b choice, i can have that, and snack on it through out the day....and have something else as i only ever have half max (not sure i would want the full thing through out the day)

need to make one today actually...i've always got some in the fridge...been making them a lot recently x
 
I might make a cake and see if I can manage the yogurty bit lol. Trying to mix up my choices a bit more. Change of plan on spinning- it's fully booked and I've walked into town with a patient (3miles) in stupid shoes that have cut my feet to ribbons :-( that'll have to be body magic enough for today! X

i've mixed my B choice up today too...i'm on green and always usually have oats for my breakfast for the 1st choice and a sandwich at lunch time but today i took cous cous for lunch with lots of salad stuff thru it and had ryvita mini's for a wee change.
been hungry all day so it was nice to be able to eat twice in a sense! lol x
 
Ooh I'm struggling today feel really hungry and nothing seems to be filling me! Have had 8 syns and don't really want anymore the night before weigh in. Just gonna have to drink loads and loads, have a few berries and head up to bed to watch the apprentice and distract myself. OH has got a new play station game so he'll be engrossed in that!
 
i've been the exact same today...i get days like that but today i was a bit paranoid that i've eaten too much and when i had eaten everything that i'd taken to work (which i usually don't) i was a bit like eeeeek! lol

but it's all been free, superfree and healthy foods and i've drank lots to make sure it wasn't thirst so guess we just need to go with our bodies eh?? :-/ x
 
Morning!

Well the dreaded weigh in is today :-/ not sure how to feel about it really, luckily I'm at work all day to distract myself from the panic! Going to the dentist this morning to try and get this wisdom tooth sorted. I hate going to the dentist and the lovely woman that usually sees me and is really good has retired so I'm a bit scared about what the replacement lady will be like. Wish me luck!
