From here to Eternally Slim

Hi Nikki and everyone, is it ok if I join the club (better late than never lol!)
I had a fab 2.5lb loss last night. Really pleased as I'd STS for the previous two weeks. I had one mad binge day, but I think it really shook things up (as Madamelaminx said it might). Looking forward to hearing everyone's news. Zx

Hey all, well I loved my green day yesterday so going to throw them in a bit more, I didn't end up making my pasta in the end but will try that soon .. want to try the leek and pea one with philadelphia from the new mag.

I'm going shopping today, any ideas for snacky bits ???

Morning everyone :)

Hey Zoe, of course you can join in on here. We are all lovely people, biased I might be, but tis true. Well done on the loss last night too:clap:, glad what ever you do to shake things up worked for you :D.

Pesty hun, thanks for the smack botty, lol.. I was naughty, but not as naughty as I could have been, I had no pudding, so hey.. think that makes me an:angel09: in disguise :giggle:.

Luverick, we all have a few naughty days, hols and days out and I think if you can really get back on track as soon as you are back home, then you will loose whatever you may have put on and give yourself a good fighting chance of loosing that week too. Good to see you back :wavey:.

Hi Mel. I always have Alpen Light Bars on the go, as you can have 2 for your B choice. Small choc treats are good, curly wirlies are only 6 syns, quavers are only 4.5, shapers nougat bars are only 5 syns and muller lights or WW yogurts are all free (apart from the muller cherry and choc layered ones and the new york cheesecake ones). If you like pickles, like gerkins, pickled cabbage, or onions - free. Get yourself lots of fruit to nibble on and look at making some nibbles that are free to pick on in the day, there are some brilliant recipes on here.

Am feeling so much better today, its my study day today, so home but will be doing some of my NVQ assignments, which need tweaking and finishing off before being assessed next week. My car window is being repaired this eve, was cracked when I came back from my hols at the top near the interior mirror, so they came on Saturday as planned last week, and had the wrong one, Dim Wits!! So this eve, between 8pm and 12am, lol.. they should be making another appearance, funny old time that is I must say!

Its my OH's sons 16th birthday today and am going to make him a cake for him and his cousins coming over the KFC tonight and his mates are over tomorrow ever for a get together (all 22 of them), so gonna do a BBQ for them all, ribs, chicken, burgers and hot dogs, should go down well. Ordered a cake from Costco last week for tomorrow night, so this eve, he'll think that the cake Im making will be it. Gonna try an resist it all, but its gonna be hard work so it is.

Right, enought of my gabbling on.. off to check emails from work.

Laters.. xx

Hello again.

1.5lbs off last night, which is more or less what I expected, and got me to my 4.5st award.

I actually feel a little deflated. Dunno why, it's just I've been doing this so long now, I'm starting to get impatient again :D

Daft really, as I'm pretty pleased with the loss. Anyway, pigged out again last night after weigh-in with quiche, toast, crisps and biscuits, so another week begins with an uphill struggle

Morning Scanbran

I know how you feel with getting impatient, but hey.. 1.5lb off last night, thats something to be proud of. 4.5 Sone Award?? Wowwww, well done you:clap:. Thats an awesome amount to loose SC.

I always have something thats not on plan after WI, Im sure most of us do. Maybe you need to change what you are eating and try some new recipes on here, might jazz things up a bit and keep you interested. Well done for the loss SC. Have a good day x

Morning all!!

CD sorry to hear about your gain hun and :whoopass: for the mars bars!!! lol Hope everything gets sorted with the toilet department!!

Hey maybe the smacked botty might get things moving lol :sick0019:

Thanks for the cake recipe....Thats certainly worth trying ;)
BTW you seem to be turning into a proper little delia in your new kitchen hun....all these lush dinners for two, well they do say the way to a mans heart is through his stomach....and by the sounds of it you've def got it spot on there :candledinner:

EF glad you had a good night out.....I see you got the botty smacking from pesty too :rotflmao: Im not a veggie....so Il try a nice juicy steak with some veggies, I just struggle with the tum trouble actually swallowing solids like meat without getting pain somedays....and too much of certain foods (tho Im only just finding out what) sets off the bunged up chain of events with the medication....its a pain in the ARISS to be honest.

Well done on the loss SB and the new shiny award :D and well done everyone else who managed to stay good & WI with a loss and not get attacked by the food faires like me:rant2:(Im sure they were stood on the scales with me)

Got my 'good head on' today....Im on mission bowel blasting! My Dyno rod soup is cooking and smells bloody fabby, so I hope to report some news later :D x x
Be good ;)

Morning all!

Lots of congratulations to you all for the splendid losses, welcome Zoe and congrats on finally cracking that plateau!

Got to go get school cardigans today for the girls - can't believe it's the last weekend of the holidays and my baby is off to big school on Monday. At least I have a fortnight of half days to get used to the idea. She has already decided she doesn't want to go to big school so let's hope she changes her mind come Monday or we will have tears. (from her as well as me!)

Catch up with you all tonight xxx

wow it seems busy on here this morning!!!

Well come zoe!! Well done on getting passed the plateux theyre right little menaces when they pop up!!! It takes a lot of persistence and determination to over come them so youve done really well!!

CD - ive always loved cooking, was cooking from about 8 years old, the difference is now i want to cook nice things for my OH, rather than i have to cook to feed the family.

SB - What an AMAZING difference between your 2 pics!!! Love the new avatar btw!! Dont get impatient, this is 1lb...

You've lost 4.5 stone, thats 63 of these!!!!! You should be really proud and enjoying strutting your new self about rather than worring about the amount of loss each week :p

EF - Your welcome for the smacking :D i'll probably need one after this weekend!! Going to OH's work bbq but have nominated myself to drive so i wont be drinking, i just have to avoid the sausages and burgers!!! lol i reakon they'll have chicken drumsticks and salad so i'll have to fill up on them!!

Glad your enjoying green days Mel! Ive never got on with them personally but thats cuz i love meat too much lol.

MLM - Awww!! Big school!! My brother doesnt start there til next year! As usual he has managed to miss his first day of the new year today!! His rash hasnt gone away so i had to call the school and tell them he's not coming in unless they want an entire school with a viral infection lol (the receptionists there are quite mean) good luck with your shopping today, i went to tesco to pick up some bits for the flat and with all the mums and kids it took me 30 mins just to get into the car park!!! lol

xxxx

This might be tooooo much info for a friday afternoon.......

BUT IVE BEEN :sick0019::bliss:WAHEY !!!!

Good old Dyno Rod soup & magic powders from the doc....but god does my tum still hurt,

I think I need some go faster stripes on my Zimmer too :shifter:

maybe by the time OH gets home and gets the scales down for me (Im a liability alone with them cos I cant balance so theyre on top of the wardrobe ) a sneaky peak may reveal some better news !

CD, wayyyheyyy :happy096:, I bet you are relieved in more ways then one, lol.. and lighter too :D. Hope the sore tum goes away soon too.

Pesty, yes they do do smaller Salmon's, have a peep when you go in next. You can ask the salmon to be cut bigger to say give you 6 fillets, then freeze them individually, whack them in fridge overnight with some soy sauce, ginger, garlic, a little sweetner and spring onion, bake in foil next day and they are soooo yummy. As the OH doen't like salmon, you could do the same with a chicken breast for him, happy all round :D.

My windscreen is now done, OH's sons birthday celebrations have started, and his cousins, aunt and grandparents came over, and cooked them all cheese and ham toasties. Nikki's cafe then closed, lol, and I had sushi :giggle:. Not quite as tastey as the toasties, but still nice ;).

Chat later. x

YEAY!!! I finally got a orange stary thing on my rep power!! Whoop whoop!! Ive been secretly wanting one for ages!!!! :sign0151:

Thats brilliant news CD!!!! Glad you've finally :sick0019: my kick up the bum mustv helped :giggle:

Hope you have a bit of a result when the OH gets home and sorts the scales!!

I probably wont be on over the weekend as i will be at the flat with no internet connection or being a bit naughty at a bbq :p. Hope you all have a good weekend!!

xxx

I've just had a chippy tea :D

DONT PANIC! It was beef mushroom boiled rice for a startling 4.5 syns. I only ate half the rice too coz it was a bit... solidified in the carton and was uninspiring. Wont make a jot of difference to the syn value tho.

Managed to get all my shopping done this afternoon and may have accidentally fallen over a couple of SIZE 14 items in Primark. That said, I didnt actually try them on, so they might not fit yet but they WILL.

Congratulations on the sinking of the titanic CD!!!!
