Good morning everyone
Sorry have not been on for a few days, busy weekend and leaving for work at 7am and then not back til gone 7pm. All is well though and still feeing optimistic about next year.
Good luck at WI Pesty, though sure you will be fine.
Way to go Minxy.. thats fantastic 4lb loss, you are amazing.
Not sure I'll get back on here til after Christmas now with work and shopping.

You've lost an entire person this year. (Admittedly only one of those mouthfuls of a person, but still, a whole one.)

My "journey" (bleurgghh!) only started in May, and I'm hoping to be looking down the barrel of 5 1/2 stone by the time I get to that anniversary, but 7!!!!!!

I lost 2lb this week, which I'm dead chuffed with. I had really been expecting a STS, although my sneaky peek suggested I might have pulled off a tiny loss. 2lb is brilliant, because...

... it puts me into the 11s! I'm over the moon about that. I haven't seen those since I hit them in very very early pregnancy - 17 years ago!
And - despite some festive feeding this week (and last, now you come to mention it) I've exceeded my Christmas challenge by 4lb!
Wooooo! Go me!!
I wasn't impressed with my Consultant this week, though.
Last week she said we were going to do festive nibbles. So, having forgotten till the last minute, as per usual, last night I whipped up a peppered smoked haddock pâté (enough accents for you, Ms Minx?), and this morning I made some melba toast. I was quite pleased with myself.
We got to the hall this evening, and - no chairs, no table, no festivities. She'd cancelled group, and was just doing a weigh-and-go. No communication. I wasn't impressed!
So guess what I've got for tea?
Ho hum.

Oh for goodness sake!
We had 8 people actually show up last night. Yes, the weather is grim, and there were about 15 people who texted to say they werent coming. HOWEVER, those of us that did HAD gone to the trouble of making party food, so the 6 of us that stayed plus the C had a very nice tea thankyou indeed.
There is no reason why she should have done that - she could have just had a class for those that made it in. Its not like she wasnt there!

Well, precisely. She was there. And was going to have to stay for at least an hour, cos people do come at all sorts of times within the time it's supposed to be on. So why not just let us do our food while people were popping in.
Mind you, there would probly only have been mackerel pâté & vodka jelly, but that's nearly a party!
She's not a great Consultant anyway. She doesn't bother with doing much. We don't have WOTY, or any other group awards. Pretty c**p really. But it's a convenient group for me, and it's the other people that make it.
So at least I've got my tea pre-prepared.

JoT im so sorry about ur C, its so annoying when we know we've got 100s on here that would be dying to be a C for inspiration and to help others and then you get the ones who can afford to do it but have no motivation to help the rest of us what so ever.
