On a purely mathematical theoretical level, every 3500 calories you eat in excess of your daily recommended intake will make you gain 1lb in weight. So you would have to go some to actually put real weight on in terms of a one day blow out. Anything you gain short term will be food weight.
Personally, I have found that a one day blow out can work wonders for boosting metabolism, but thats personal to me - I often pulled a bigger loss week after a treat day. It does work for others, I know but I would hate to recommend doing that and it not work for you.
