From here to Slimfinity!!! - Team 6

AOGG well done you!

Gorey, have you has a try on of the outfit to see if it is getting close?

Hi Disney!
I had a small blip yesterday but everything is all go today xx

Well done AOGG!! Thought we'd lost you there for a bit; hope everything is OK with you!

I've dug out the top, poured myself into it and have started taking a weekly photo in it (front, side and back view) so I can see my progress as the next 50 odd days pass. I lost another 5lbs today and am trying to do some sort of exercise every day so hopefully I'll keep losing at around that level.

I'm trying to be really organised this year for xmas as normally I'm chaotic (and this affects my mood and then my food) so i've already started doing my xmas shopping. Going to Sweden on the 9th December to visit my older brother and his family and am really looking forward to it! I've been making excuses not to go because of my weight ,....hope to be another stone down by then and a bit less wobbly all round.

How's everyone else?

Quizzical - down 20lbs (by 15/12)
Trisha - down 14lbs (by 30/11)
Gg - down 20lbs (by 30/11) - 5lbs down; 15 to go
Mum2one -down 20lbs (by 17/12)
Disney: down 10lbs (by 30/11)
AOGG: 3 inches off bust (by xmas)

Goreygirl, well done on losing another 5lbs, you're doing great. :)

well done Goreygirl :) I'm not much of a poster lol but I read posts everyday :) my next weigh in is on the 1st of december but then it wont be until 12th January, my cdc is going on cruise but I'm plodding alond, I'm on 810 but I'm losing weight and is abit slower than SS but i am happy with it! I really hope I will fit into dress by xmas, it is a size 20 but its more like a 18, as kaliko really does come up smaller than ticket says lol :)

GG well done! I always try on things that are currently too small to see if they are getting closer.

What is everyone's weekend plans? xx

That's good to know AOGG - was getting a bit concerned :) I really admire your ability to keep going without the weekly weigh-ins. I've got 2 weeks until my next one as my CDC is going away so I'm a bit edgy but trying to just focus on this week rather than think of the 2.

Trish - you back in school? How are the brats? ;-)

Quizz - I've got 2 big backs of various "skinny clothes" some with tags still on (I hated trying things on in the shops so often brought them home and thought i'd slim into them!) so can't wait to gradually get into them and through out all my current clothes :D

hi everyone

Gorey yes back at school :( the "brats" are ok at the moment but as it gets closer to christmas they will "switch" off, and it will be really hard trying to get them to do any work. BUT only 30 get ups until the Christmas holiday.

Not sure what we are doing at the weekend, depends if oh has to work, we will probably start some of the jobs we want to do to the house to get it ready to sell!

Hope everyone's having a good weekend.

It was cold, but sunny here first thing this morning so l went a walk/jog down the beach, it was lovely, first time l've been at the beach in a couple of weeks, it's usually been too windy/wet, walks have been mostly round the local streets recently. Can't say l'm on schedule with the c25k program, but l'm pleased l'm still getting out there and making a bit of progress.
When l got back my husband had to get up out of bed to answer the door as l had forgot to take a key. :D

Later this morning we went to the cinema to see Toy Story 3 again (my son's 4th time, my 3rd, he loves that film, at least adults get in free when it's the kids club film like today). Rest of the family shared a big box of popcorn, l didn't have any, not a morsel, l felt fine just having my CD choc tetra (my breakfast) and bottle of water. Hopefully be the end of Nov l'll have reached or got pretty near to my target for this month (10lbs), :fingerscrossed: no plateau like last month. We've been invited to a birthday party next Saturday so it will be damage limitation time for me.

Here's to a good week everyone. :)

Morning all

It's a cold sunny day following a massive storm and flooding last night due to a combination of high tides and massive amounts of rain. The sky is lookng very grey and heavy though so not sure if more rain is due. If it stays dry I'll try and get out for a jog/walk later and if it rains I'll head to the gym.

I'm currently trying to clear/sort out the under stairs cupboard (with frequent breaks!). Hope all are well?

Trisha, very well done. :)

Weather's been cold, wind & rain here, starts to get dark really early too.

Had cd apple & cinammon porridge for lunch today, hadn't tried it for a while, but didn't like it as much as l did before, l guess my tastebuds must have changed. Does anyone else find that their tastes have changed? What cd stuff do you like most/least?

I really like the choc tetras, just wish there was more to them, always drink mine with a bottle of water to make it seem like it's lasting longer. Other cd products l like are choc, strawberry, vanilla shakes, leek & potato and chicken & mushroom soups, cranberry bar.

I like the vanilla shake which I have hot with a spoonful of coffee in, hot chocolate shakes, soups tomato, mushroom and vegetable although I am going off the soups. Also like the bars except cranberry but I try and stay clear of them as I feel I don't lose as much when I have them. I don't like any of the tetras and I don't like porridge

Hey

I practically live on the vanilla and choc shakes in the following formats:
- vanilla shake with coffee made up to 500mls with hot water
- choc shake with coffee (as above)
- 1 tsp coffee dissolved in 10mls of hot water, vanilla shake, 250mls cold water and 8-10 ice cubes all blended together (one of my favourites!)
- Choc/mint choc shake with 250mls of water and 8-10 ice cubes blended.

Gg, take it you like coffee. :D I like the smell of it, but not the taste of it.
Do you not find it harder having the shakes with ice-cubes when the weather's cold? I blended with them ice-cubes during the summer, but now l'm too cold.
