From Maximus to Minimus - coming soon!

Well!

How rude!

Spend all that time getting the girls together and that's the thanks we get!

Some people are just so ungrateful!

Bet the Calendar Girls didn't get such abuse...

Just don't expect us to bother next year sunshine...!

At least I'd give the calendar girls a space on the wall:eek:

:8855: from me too.

You are so rude Steve. What do you know about the size of my bum?
You've not seen it . . . YET!

Aww no! Gonna be one of THEM types of meets is it?;)

Sure do Dawn. Mind, we'll get a broadside when he comes back though.

Looking at Dawn's pics you've all got very, very broad sides:D

Poor Loulou must have thought she was still drunk of new year when I sent her a text complimenting her on her asset - blissfully unaware of the post or pic lol

Well.......that's the last time I get my ar$e out for you Steve......
Not the first time though eh? Lou:eek:;)

Another 100% day today. Bacon sarnie (HEXB wholemeal bread) with mushrooms & tomato.

HexA milk in coffees.

Lunch was roast chicken dinner. Where I synned the mash, gravy and yorkshires (approx 12)

Banana for afters.

The other syns went on extra light mayo to make some coleslaw (never done that before) as I continued with my winter salad program. Chicken salad of course. the extra 2-3 syns used on said mayo and salad cream.

Ryvita and laughing cow (finishing off the HEX's)

Miller lights and a black coffee will be taken as I watch again how little Sunderland beat multi-billionaire league leaders Manchester City today on Match of the day:cool:

Scoring a winning goal in the 4th minute of 4 injury time minutes for those of you not interested in footy is the equal of winning SOTW, SOTM and the raffle at a group meet as well as being shortlisted for Slimmer of the year!

Happy Days!

Oh and 100% again. Now where did I put them cigars?

:p

Thank you Sunderland! Beating Man City let my boys off the hook!

Right gang.I'm normally too proud to ask for help, so instead I need suggestions. Over the next week, to attempt to combat my lack of exercise, or being unable to do any serious exercise, I am looking to have a week of no, or reduced fat - supplemented by loads of veg, mushroom, peppers etc. So looking for suggestions.

I think rice and pasta might be interesting - along with chicken - all nice and lean. I plan to completely empty the freezer - and there's loads of frozen veg in there. Soups and cereals are possible of course. Mainly looking at green days or even vegetarian!

Trying to change a few things to mix it up a bit.

Food ideas for green days.

Stuffed Peppers
1. Make a bolognaise sauce - with beef, pork or quorn mince. My sauce is made with 80g of beef or pork mince + 40g of grated carrot per person - which makes it a HexB on a green day and you really cannot tell the difference in taste or texture like you can with quorn.
2. Add a small handful of tiny bits of uncooked pasta - this just soaks up some of the sauce and thickens it. I use what's called fideos in Spanish - basically it's just ½" long fine spaghetti but you could use the tiny baby shells or chop up some ordinary spaghetti.
3. Use a medium red pepper per person. Chop in half lengthwise. Remove all innards but NOT the stalk - otherwise the filling falls out! Yes I've done this once. Microwave pepper for about 5 mins on full to soften and part cook it.
4. Place peppers in an ovenproof dish and fill the half peppers with the bol sauce.
5. Grate a small amount of cheddar on top.
6. Bake in oven at 200c for about 30 minutes.
7. Serve with a salad

Stuffed Mushrooms (for 2)
4 large field mushrooms - the big, flat open variety
2 rashers lean bacon - chopped into small lardons
½ onion - chopped very finely
2 slices wm bread made into medium breadcrumbs.

1. Remove stalks from mushrooms and chop finely.
2. Fry chopped mushroom stalks, bacon lardons and chopped onions in fry light until the onions are soft. I actually use 1 tblsp of olive oil and syn it as it tastes so much better!
3. Mix in the breadcrumbs to bind it all together.
3. Divide the mixture into 4 and "stuff" on the top of the mushroom.
4. Grate a little cheddar cheese on top.
5. Bake in oven at 200c for 20 minutes ish!
6. Serve with salad.

You can also turn this into a risotto by using rice instead of pasta.

Spaghetti Carbonara
You must have the recipe for this - just replace the cream with quark.

Omelettes
Staff of life on SW - but of course you know all about these

I have loads of other soup recipes - PM me your email address if you want them.

Trout with Leeks

For the record, there is only one Q word allowed in here and that's Quinny (me!) Quark and Quorn should be banned - with all due respect to people who like eating carpet etc.

Oh and since I'm having a new-year rant/clearout, Scan Bran can be deported too:cool:

Though Scan Bran might actually help you with a clear out...
I tried it once before - even absolutly smothered in laughing cow cheese it was vile! - I gave it a shot, but no way would I repeat it.

Feeling very, sickly at present and about to have chicken salad & my veggie soup (hurrah) - I then am going to get out into the cold air and walk a mile or two - nice and gently to cheer myself up and test the calf muscle.

I'm returning to work tomorrow (mental health and well-being almost as important as physical health).

I also have a stinking headache, and that needs to be blitzed too! - fresh air again.

Wish me luck! - I'll report back later:p

Well another 100% day today, -despite not feeling 100% and having to force myself to eat.

Breakfast being Weetabix & half of milk for HEX's

Lunch was vegetable soup & chicken salad. Approx 4 syns worth of mayo for coleslaw and salad cream - banana for dessert.

Dinner - when I was struggling was the remainder of milk from hexa this morning and that comfort food - Cornflakes (6 syns) also had another bowl of the veggie soup along with ryvita & laughing cow.

A Muller Light and diet coke drinks did the rest. Couldn't even manage a coffee today

However, just about managed to eat and another 100% day approx10 syns. All hex's

Hope I feel better tomorrow! Back to work, 6am start

Best get an early night then.....
