getting back to target - one day at a time

Tuesday 5th March

WI day, not sure what to expect, feel quite heavy but don't know if that's because I've eaten loads today, because I ate off plan yesterday or because I know its WI tomorrow so its all in my head :/

Breakfast - shreddies with skimmed milk and a banana (HEA and HEB)
Lunch - leftover quorn chilli with salad and lowlow cheese spread (HEA)
Tea - quorn ''beef'' curry with rice
Snacks - banana, kellogs chewy delight bar (HEB) rice pudding with apple and passion fruit, orange, pear, will decide on syns when I have them
 
Wednesday 6th March - Green

Breakfast - Shreddies with banana (HEA and HEB)
Lunch - chickpea curry with savoury rice
Tea - Quorn chilli with jacket potato and cheese (HEA)
Snacks - ryvita mini's (HEB) milk in drinks (HEA) orange, pear, rice pudding with apple and passionfruit, gingerbread coffee syrup (2 syns) 6 mikado sticks (3 syns)
 
Thursday 7th March - Red

Breakfast - shreddies and banana (HEA and HEB)
Lunch - ham and veg quiche
Tea - salmon with steamed green beans and sprouts and roast butternut squash, courgette, mushrooms and onion
Snacks - crabsticks, ham, apple and cheese (HEA) hifi rocky road (HEB) pear, plum, cherry underlayer muller light (1.5 syns) cadbury magic elf (3.5 syns)
 
Friday 8th march ee

Breakfast - banana followed by sausage and egg sarnie (syns = ?) Sarnies are beingbput on at school
Lunch - ham and veg quiche
Tea - lemon chicken qith pasta
Snacks - hifi (Heb) skimmed milk (hea) fruit, crabsticks
 
Fantastic thanks texty.... still waiting on proper results they should be posting them today (can't wait :D) but I really enjoyed it, didn't hit a wall at all, in fact the worse part was about 2 miles just before I got into my stride. Sorting out my next race today.... although that one's only a 10k lol
 
Official results are in, I ran my first half marathon in 2 hours 40 seconds :) I'm very happy with that result


Back on track today, WI tomorrow and not sure what it will bring as I've tried to keep low syn the rest of the week and although I had loads of extra treats yesterday I also ran 13.1 miles.... so we shall see, I won't moan whatever the result as although I'd love a loss or a maintain I know from Tuesday I'm 100% again until at least Easter weekend (which to be fair is closer then I'd like lol)


Monday - Green

Breakfast - pineapple, apple, banana, kiwi and yogurt
Lunch - chickpea curry with sliced potatoes and wholemeal bread (HEB)
Tea - quorn lamb stew with mashed potatoes (sweet and white)
Snacks - banana, rice pudding with banana and raspberries, milk in drinks (HEA) either cheese with apple or more milk in drinks for second HEA, ryvita mini's (HEB) not sure on syns, only having 5 today.

Tomorrow is wi though.... feel quite good, but it could be a gain so will just have to wait and see

Wed - ee

not happy with myself as gave in and had some cake

breakfast - pineapple, apple, kiwi, banana and yogurt (used tesco fat free blueberry yogurt, it was gorgeous. Cant see it lasting long in the fridge)
lunch - savoury rice with added mushrooms, onion, toms, tuna and boiled eggs
tea- sweet and sour chicken with rice and veg
snacks - milk in drinks (hea) pear, cheese thing from graze (4 syns) fresh cream and merangue cake (syns? :( ) hifi light (heb) orange, plum, crabsticks, syn free pancakes with banana and raspberries (unless my raspberries dont defrost in time then i'll have rice pud with apple kiwi and banana)
 
Thursday - Green

Breakfast - syn free pancakes with raspberries, banana and yogurt
Lunch - BNS and chilli soup with a cheesy ww petite pain (HEA and HEB)
Tea - quorn spaghetti bolognaise with cheese (HEA)
Snacks - rice pudding with apple and kiwi, hifi bar bakewell (HEB) chocolate orange tiffin (7.5 syns) fruit
 
Friday - EE

Breakfast - syn free pancakes with raspberries, banana and yogurt
Lunch - mackerel pasta salad
Tea - home made burgers (HEA and HEB) with chips, fried mushrooms, onions and toms)
Snacks - hot cross bun (not sure on syns yet as not bought them but guessing around 10) crabsticks, orange, pear, plum, rice pudding with apple and kiwi
 
Sorry I've been a bit AWOL on here haven't I

Not done too bad, had one over syn day, on Friday I ate a cupcake at school and then had a hot cross bun at home, but that's it. Yesterday I went on a 10.5 mile run with my mum, very muddy as well so hopefully burnt a few more calories that way lol. But I stayed within my syns :) top end but still within. So I'm happy with that. Over synned on Wednesday as well :/ but again hopefully not too much with my exercise and had under 10 syns on Thursday.


Sat - Green

Breakfast - rice pudding with strawberries and banana
Lunch - minted pea and brocolli soup with an egg and mushroom ww petite pain (HEB)
Tea - chips, egg and beans with a meat free burger (1 syn) cheese (HEA) mushrooms and tomatoes
Snacks - running gel (4 syns) blueberry muffin (4 syn) banana, oveltine chocolate (6 syns) syn free pancakes with raspberries, banana and yogurt, two aldi harvest light cereal bars (HEB)
 
You will be fine and your run is bound to have helped. All that body magic - go you.

Good luck at WI, I'm sure you'll be fine. I'm not going to cut back... just because the mood I'm in if I cut back I'll end up going over even more. Fingers crossed next week will be better as after then its Easter

Todays Plan - EE

Breakfast - 2 sausages (1 syn) bacon, mushrooms, toms, beans and two fried eggs
Lunch -
Tea - chicken and bacon BBQ melt, on potato wedges topped with cheese (HEA)
Snacks - banana's, orange, plum, pear, syn free rice pudding with apple and kiwi, crabsticks, two hifi lights (HEB) hot cross bun (7.5 syns) with diabetic jam (1.5 syns) blueberry muffin (4 syns)


not sure on lunch yet will update when I decide... might make a spicy BNS soup.... also might not eat all of the snacks, they're just what I have if I need them

Im having a late lunch today so hopefully I wont need to snack as much so less syns etc
