Fab and I think the most sustainable plan for me - when I'm I the 8's ill do 6.1 forever - I love not dieting every day!

Fast. So at the moment I'm allowed 1550 calories to maintain my weight so on 5.2 I have this 5 days and then 2 days at 350 calories. I've been losing steadily (apart from week 2 when I got into the not dieting 5 days a week thinking rather than being sensible!!!). It's psychological really in that I'm only dieting 2 days and I can cope with just eating a main meal those days to enjoy my food for 5. When I get to 8 10ish I think 6.1 without eating back exercise calories will keep my weight maintained. If I over eat or have special events - I can just add another fast day. I feel free on this diet and enjoy my food more.
Wow that sounds so good, maybe if WW doesn't work for me to get into the 8s I will try it, Wonder what my calorie breakdown would be, how did u find out yours? X
Mfp will give you your daily allowance (maintenance not weightloss weight) then you have a 1/4 of that on the fast days or there are some 5.2 websites. I'm 5ft 1 and 9.2 if that helps?
Mine will probably be very similar to yours then as I'm 9 1 and 4 11. X Update, just checked and mine is 1520 for maintenance so my fasting day(s) would be 380. X
Very similar then - to lose 1lb per week you need a deficit of 3500 calories per week - if you do the maths that's very difficult without major fasting - other diets promise 1lb per week but that's unlikely for people like us.
Maybe that's why I'm only losing 0.5lb a week on WW? X
Probably - by my maths to get 3500 calorie deficit we'd only be allowed 1020 calories a day and most mainstream diets won't give you less than 1200. It's ok just means loss is slower - but knowing that is important!

I lost 1lb, am thrilled as that's my biggest loss since Week 1 BUT it also means I'm exactly 9 Stone 0lb! It's teasing me so much to get into the 8s but at least I know if I'm good this week and the scales are in my favour, I WILL be in the 8s next week however small the loss! X
I've had a bad week, pain flare up and can't fast on my tablets - so felt rubbish so have eaten rubbish - I've fasted today though - but I reckon I'm a good few weeks away from the 8's. how are you?
I've had the week from hell :-( But for once I haven't let it affect my Food or Exercise Schedule, I so want to see the 8s on Friday that I won't let it get in my way! X
