Getting to Goal by Zeke

I wouldn't have a clue, either Latin or Greek!! Haha!!
Whichever word it is - it's a great goal/achievement list!!! Realised mine is pretty much my goal list in my signature!!!
Though could probably add a few!!
What time have you got to go into work?! x

I went in about 2.30 and came home at 4.30 so that is done (I did work at home before and after!).

Really looking forward to a fresh new sparkly dieting week starting tomorrow morning! I shall try and have a big loss week!

I have made my first log in my supermaket spend diary or even my 'supermarker' diary as I called it...!!! Should be eye-opening if I make the effort to keep up with it!

No more movement on the home scales today so I am down 0.8 lbs on the home scales. I think the most likely result is a STS or a 0.5 lb loss on the class scales.

Mass in Class (mass at home first thing, naked)
Week 1 - 14 st 8.0 lbs (14 st 5.0 lbs)
Followed EE plan this week. Lost 4 lbs (4.8 lbs)
Week 2 - 14 st 4.0 lbs (14 st 0.2 lbs)
Followed EE but badly - probably had too much fruit, also had smoothies before I realised that was wrong. Also had 84 syns + smoothie fruit syns. Lost 1 lbs (0 lbs)
Week 3 - 14 st 3.0 lbs (14 st 0.2 lbs)
Swapped to red days after two days this week and started exercising more. Managed to stay under 70 syns this week (69.5!). Lost 3.5 lbs (3.4 lbs)
Week 4 - 13 st 13.5 lbs (13 st 10.8 lbs) Red days all week. Syns 66. TOTM end of week. Lost 1.5 lbs (1.8 lbs).
Week 5 - 13 st 12.0 lbs (13 st 9.0 lbs) Red days all week. Syns around 75. First week without filling in food diary to hand-in at class - mental tracking towards end of week. Lost 2.0 lbs (2.6 lbs).
Week 6 - 13 st 10.0 lbs (13 st 6.4 lbs)
Red days most of the week. One green day. One trip 'home' with deviation from plan the next day (but not bad). Syns unknown. Lost 2.0 lbs (1.4 lbs)
Week 7 - 13 st 8.0 lbs (13 st 5.0 lbs) Red days but a difficult week. Trip to London on Saturday had me bingeing on crisps and sweets on the way home. Found it difficult to get back on track with regards to evening syns for the rest of the week. Lost 1.0 (0.8 lbs)
Week 8 - 13 st 7.0 lbs (13 st 4.2 lbs)

Hi Zeke

Just been reading your info, very interesting!!

Just one thing caught my eye, you said "eating to much fruit" but I didn't think that was possible/ a problem?!?!?

I'm looking at a massive gain this week and have no idea why!

Hi Daisy!

Well officially I agree - you cannot eat too much fruit. I was just aware that that week I was eating more fruit compared to veggies/salads etc and I think the balance was wrong.

So are you a home tracker, too (I do both class and home - the combination suits me)? I struggle to lose around menstruation and ovulation - could that explain it? Do you have a diary? xx

Hmmm sometimes I think I will never fully understand how it all works!!!

About 2 years ago I lost 4 stone on SW/ body optimise online - now I've decided I need to lose more so am tryin to do it on my own with the knowledge I have (which maybe isn't enough) and the help of minimins and an app on my phone to track my weight loss!

I've got a snazzy food diary that I've been completing religiously for about three weeks! I guess the weight could be because of TOTM being next week - I have a horrible habit of weighing myself every day when really I should wait till Saturday : (

I weigh myself every day and record it on fridgegraph - as I have been doing it so long (15 months) I am generally not too bothered about the STS and the slight gains as I know that there will be light at the end of the tunnel!

TBH if you know you like to WI every day I would recommend recording them all. MrsBurgundy and I are both on Fridgegraph (she puts in her weekly class weights and I put in my daily weights). If you join (Fridge Graph: Social Dieting - it is free) and choose to add us as friends we can set up challenges etc! My weights on here (minimins) are all my class weights.

All of my WW diets for the last 6 years or so have been done at home (with the same success as when I went to class before). I felt I needed a group to start a new diet though. I am sure you will be fine with this place and your existing knowledge!

Well, I am just back from class and am very pleased to report a 1 lb loss - so a bit more than I thought! I wore light clothes (like last week!) - if it looks like I am on for a good loss next week I am going to go back to jeans as that is what I prefer to wear.

Argh!! Zeke - you've utterly confused me!! You changed your thread name, and i couldn't for the life of me work out where it came from!! Was looking at my subscribed threads on my phone, and was totally confused!!!! Hahahahahaha!!!!
Silly 'nana!!!

Well done on the 1lb loss, and i ALWAYS wear light clothes.....have never had the courage to wear jeans to weight in and probably never will!!!

Daisy - feel free to come join us on fridgegraph - it's a great little place, and we set little fun challenges for ourselves!!! Hehe!!

Oooh, i've yet to find the supermarker (!) thread - will go have a gander now!!

Love and squishes (Just to change it up a bit!!!) Hehe!
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Heehee! Sorry! I read the tutorial on here about how to change a thread title and went mad (after the supermarker incident - it is now supermarket btw!).

Right! I have to get off my butt and do something! I have quite a lot of work work to do for tomorrow and I am out with friends this pm. Add to that the increasingly worse housework problem...

Oooh - have a good day!!! xxxx

Just back from a lovely evening with friends. I didn't have an alcohol but I did have few sneaky nibbles.....

Then again I suppose I didn't have my normal evening syns, yogurt and fruit so calorie-wise it was probably about the same....oh well!

12 hours until I am on holiday :D

Wahey!!! You dis better than me!! I ended up having Indian takeaway! (or rather half, saved half for lunch tomorrow!!!)

Glad you had a good night hon!! Xxxx

You don't sound too bothered about the Indian takeaway - I guess you chose wisely - anyway, only having half is impressive in itself!

To my delight and amazement I jumped down 1 lb on my home scales this morning :), which is certainly a motivational boost and well and truly puts a line under the legacy of last weekend.

Good morning!! Yay for the lb drop, that's a great sign!!

Indian was lamb Rogan Josh (6.5), boiled rice and a poppadum (4). I also got some spinach with peas and mushrooms but no idea what syns it is!!! Should be relatively low, but would say maybe 3 for any oils?!

Hope you have a good day!!! On my way to work as always, off to theatre tonight tho to see the wizard of Oz with mum so looking forward to that!! Xxx

Just had to work out stuff on my fingers - but officially: aren't you now on holiday?!?!?!?
:happy036:WOOOOOOH!!!!:happy036:
Lots of dog walking for you?! :chores016::chores016::sign0151:
:talk017:

(I may be abusing/overusing the smiley's, so will apologise in advance!!)

What do you have planned for the day?!?!:bliss::blahblah: :banana dancer:

Love and hugs! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

W O W!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like celebrating a bit tonight! I haven't got a clue what's for dinner and I am thinking about persuading DH to go for a meal later...ummm...

Maybe I will just use up the last of the ww meals I have in the freezer with a pile of veg. Syn counting has gone a bit today anyway. Maybe I will have a glass of wine tonight to celebrate and then straight back on the straight and narrow for me!

I had that glass of wine (large) last night and found that it was enough. I just didn't want a second :D. I was definitely well over syns though - had two hi-fi bars as snacks (in addition to the one I had just after lunch as a HeB!) as well as some crisps. I have also had ww lasagne for dinner so that would have been syns, too. So I 'regained' 0.6 lbs of the 1 lbs I 'lost' yesterday. Totally fine with that though. That was my end of term celebration.

I really want to get back to being organised now.

A few things:
  • Stop having cereal bars as my second HeB. I don't think they are particulary healthy or helpful.
  • Make 3 multigrain rivitas my new standard HeB (topped with cottage cheese/tomato/cucumber - someone suggested grilling it a bit...worth a try!)
  • I like to have something to look forward to in the evening - used to be ww frozen desserts and there is no reason why it can't be again! I also used to like ww malted brown toast with marmite - maybe worth the syns.
  • Prepare my weeks diary at the start of the dieting week or before.
  • Plan meals a good 24 hours in advance and have a good stock of quick meals that I can rely on when things go a bit wrong.
Standard day:

7.45 am - 42g All bran (HeB)
- 250 ml semi skimmed milk (heA)
- Banana
11 am - Apple + hard boiled egg
1.30 pm - Large Salad + free Red + ff yogurt
5 pm - large plate of veg + free Red + ff yogurt
8 pm - 3 multigrain rivitas + cottage cheese
9 pm - ww dessert

Something like that anyway! I shall see how it goes in reality.

I didn't have the banana this am as there were none. Need to go shopping without a doubt!

Definitely need to pick up the exercise again, too! So easy to get out of the habit! I will take the dogs for their 3 mile walk today for a start.
