Gobolino's Food Diary - converted to ww now!

Hi Hun, don't worry about the cookies, these things happen and it could have been way worse than just three! 30 syns is really not bad and you can easily work your way back to an average of less than 15 per day for the week.

I think you are right to say that you should not have baked on an empty stomach though, far too tempting!

Think you might need a new recipe book or as you said, an evening surrounded by books to refresh your ideas and re-inspire you :)

Thanks both!

Yep, I need some chill out time with recipe books. I'm so fed up of not knowing what to have, especially for evening meal. There are loads of ideas out there I just need to hunt them down!

Good progress so far on making meals for the freezer - will update as the day progresses:
:) Mixed bean and quorn chilli (free)
:) Thai BNS and carrot soup (free)
:) Veggie lasagne with peppers and courgette. Ricotta and l/f cheese topping (HA or HB +1 syn per portion)
:) Broccoli stalk soup

I've also got the good food magazine for some great ideas..... just have to resist reading it now until the housework is done!

Tomorrow I'll probably make brocolli stalk soup and homity pie -yummy yum yum! - edit- didnt get round to the homity pie.... maybe I'll do it during the week, but busy each night till thurs so probably not. Will use the leeks in a stir fry instead.

Monday has gone to plan apart from the syns:
lasagne =1
ryvita minis=4
2 lots of hot choc powder in vlf fromage frais=4
squirty cream=1

Total =10

I have a big craving for chocolate tonight...... its a monday night thing (ie night before weigh in) and have been talking to myself: 'Mmmmmm I have dark chocolate in the cupboard' 'no Gobolino you dont want to mess it all up on a monday night' .... conversation repeated many times.

So far I've had vlf fromage frais as soon as I came home and then had my lasagne (a bit of a backwards tea really)..... now I am soooo tired and full I dont want to do anything apart from go to sleep. But, will get myself out walking the dog and hopefully go to aerobics (although I'm tempted to trade that for a hot bath and relax instead tonight!).

I dont know sometimes I just feel like a gerbil on a wheel going round and round and never having enough time to fit everything in

Hey Hun. Thanks for your encouraging message on my diary. I havent been around much but still weighing in each week. I must admit I follow we intrudes diary quite a lot to get new ideas. Today I am having leftovers of jerk chicken ( heb) with Turkish bulgar wheat salad and carrot sticks etc. Tonight I'll gave my usual cheesy chilli. I always use full fat cheese instead of low far stuff as it melts better. The mash pizza is really good too. Anyway hope you get a loss this week you have been doing so well. Xx

Hello :)

Thank you for your messages!

Teresa I think its funny to think of us both being gerbils on our hamster wheel..... think of all that body magic eh! For me its not the first time I've had pudding first -he he!

Hazel thanks for the ideas. I enjoy browsing the food diaries for ideas!

Today went ok
B- alpen light (3syns), all bran (HB), banana, milk (part HA), peach
D- broccoli soup, pitta (HB)
snacks- latte (HA), ryvita minis (4syns)
T- scan bran and blue cheese pre weigh in and then taster session at group
Then at home I had some frozen yoghurt and dark chocolate as a treat (I know this isnt in my syns!)

I lost half a pound. I laughed at weigh in as I'd thought it would be a whole pound. But I'm still pretty chuffed at my continuous losing streak :) :) :)

You certainly are - you're doing brilliantly at the moment! :0clapper::0clapper:

Thank you all :) Focussing on it being a loss and in the right direction and however many in a row certainly keeps me going !

Here's todays menu:

D-Tuna salad, wholemeal roll (HB), 2 boiled eggs. Pineapple

Snacks-milk in tea (HA), cheese (HA), ryvita minis (4syns).

My focus for this week is just trying to do things differently. Red day here and there, different healthy extras, anything different to normal. I'm trying to shake it up a bit!

mmmmmm just noticed I'm only using half my milk HA again. This is annoying I'm debating giving up tea altogether and then saving the whole lot for cheese :)
