Gobolino's Food Diary - converted to ww now!

You are doing so well!! I reckon you will get that shiny next week :)

And I totally believe in the positive mindset. Feeling guilty or under pressure to cut back on syns totally pushes us to blow the syn bank completely! And meals out happen..... and are there to be enjoyed!

Your diaries are looking fabby - our C gave us a bunch of challenges to choose from the other week and one of them was to eat 14 different HExBs the next week. I thought that would be really tough so didn't sign up to that one but you are doing so well to have so much variety. Mine seem to be cheese, ryvita or fibre plus bars! I don't think I could limit myself with nuts, they're so moreish :)

Keep up the good work :) :)

Thank you for your positive thoughts :) I totally agree about eating out! My secret with the nuts is that I take a measured amount to work with me so the rest can stay at home out of harms way! Fingers crossed the variety helps..... which challenge did you go for ?

Unfortunately, I had 15 hazelnuts (syns!!) last night and 20g of white chocolate buttons (syns!). I’d been thinking all day that I hadn’t felt like eating that much, but by the evening I think the hunger had caught up with me and by then I wanted what I wanted rather than being able to eat free stuff. Nevermind, I can still stick to it today J

0830 – I’m so hungry….. I know its psychological as I’ve had my breakfast! Its made even worse though since I cant get onto minimins during work time. I’m just going to have to write on here in a draft email and then copy and paste and post this at lunch time. Hungry hungry hungry and wish I’d brought more food today J

0930 – Ok, have had a banana now and another cup of tea. I have a feeling the TOTM is on its way L…..at least this accounts for the hunger!

Monday
Breakfast-
chocolate porridge 40g will have more later to make it to 2xHB, milk from HA

Dinner- aubergine mousakka innocent pot (syns), red cabbage, red onion and green beans
Tea- wedges and beans
Snacks- apple, banana, milk in tea (HA)

Chocolate porridge? I couldn't eat that in the morning as it would give me a sugar spike then I would be starving again so I am not surprised you were hungry. I usually have just loads of chopped fruit on my porridge. Keeps me going for hours.

Enjoy your lovely lunch, Gobolino :)

Oh I did enjoy lunch, thanks Sausage! The ready brek chocolate porridge wasnt really that sweet..... I was quite surprised ;) I usually love a grated apple in my porridge -mmmmmmmm I just love porridge :)

Well, not feeling great today (tummy cramps, no energy) and I soooooo could have had a huge bowl of porridge when I came home. Plus I had to wait around for an hour and a half for hubby to finish work, so had to find an imprompt tea. Here's how today panned out:

Breakfast
chocolate porridge 40g HB+2syns, milk from HA

Dinner
aubergine mousakka innocent pot (2.5syns), red cabbage, red onion and green beans

Unbelievable I managed to stick to the food I'd taken to work, it was very difficult today!

Tea1 in the car
2 co-op wholemeal pittas (HB+6syns?), 60g goats cheese (HA+6syns?). I thought the pitta was a great choice until I ate the second one..... but still better than buying chocolate!

Tea2 at home
raspberries and strawberries with l/f natural yog

Snacks- apple, banana, milk in tea (HA)

wow 16.5syns. 15mins walk

Sorry you're feeling pooey, you're doing remarkably well under the circumstances!

I like the sound of the Cranberry Juice - good find. I think I remember reading about one of them that was free. Maybe a Tesco Light Choices one? Not sure, will check as I quite fancy some different drinks, it would feel a bit naughty while actually being very good!

Your hex list is amazing - loads of variety and seeing it in a list is really impressive. Despite SS's wise words about chocolate ready brek, I am mighty tempted by it ... that word 'chocolate' reels me in like a sucker. Is it 28g for a hex? I may indulge myself a little, I bet it's the business on a freezing cold morning!

Hey Beegee thanks for your message. I'm feeling a bit better today, thank goodness! My healthy extras reached a total of 14, so I'm pretty pleased with that.

Chocolate ready brek is the same as normal ready brek for a healthy extra I think its 28g plus a ryvita. Its nice, just dont expect it to be overly chocolatey and sweet! I'm tempted to have some when I come home from weigh in ;)

By the way the sainsburys no added sugar cranberry is a much better deal syn-wise than the tesco light choices (cant quite remember what this one was but it wasnt as low as the sainsburys one, plus I preferred the sainsburys one) :)

I gained 1/2 a pound this evening, I'm still super proud of my healthy extra challenge so I'll be doing it again this week (just need to keep syns a bit lower and go to a few more classes this week :) ).
