Not done so well this afternoon. I've been worried and ended up tucking into a handful of crackers!

On the plus side, I've seen the dr, got a referral for an ultrasound, booked the ultrasound for tomorrow and worked out bits with bupa about paying. Plus I've booked a blood test for next week too (a big deal as I'm a fainter!)- phew :)

Blimey - good work on making things happen! Isn't it quick when you can go private. At least you may have some answers tomorrow, I'll be thinking about you and hope you get some positive news x

Thanks, I hope to get some answers. Either way I'm glad to be seen so quickly :)

Here's todays menu:
B- oats (HB), berries, pear, milk (HA)

D- bread (HB +2syns), HA cheese (25g smoked applewood and 2 laughing cow blue lights), salad. L/f greek Yog (1 syn)

sn- pear, apple, small banana

T- something with thai sweede wedges, peas and sweetcorn :) - I had linda mcartney sausages x3 = 6syns (2 syns each - ouch I didnt think they'd be that high, I just picked them up in a rush in tesco, I should have looked out for the italian ones at 1/2 a syn each) and a jacket potato

pud-ben and jerrys vermonster (13 SYNS for 100g)

Total - 22 syns

Scan went fine, so really pleased and feel less worried now!

Dont worry I ate enough for too Beegee :) It is great news and brilliant to be seen so quickly, I'm so greatful! Just need to get to the bottom of what the tummy pain is all about now.

By the way, we've now tried the other frozen yog.... think its called naked moo! Its delicious to!

Well, last nights tea wasnt as planned, I made rissoto instead and it was gorgeous! Also had more frozen yogurt...... in fact I almost re-created the ben and jerrys number which was maple ice cream with pecans..... my version frozen yog with crushed walnuts and maple syrup - wow!

Sunday - here's hoping its a better eating day!

B- lindas sausages (6 syns- glad to have got rid of these to be honest), egg and beans

sn- strawberry milkshake (HA) (6 syns for nesquick ?????), 2 slices of wholemeal bread (HB), utterly butterly (2syns)

D- speedy tom soup with carrots, toms and baked beans. wholemeal bread (HB), utterly butterly (2 syns)

Just had a hot chocolate with milk (probably another 7 syns :( )

Was thinking of making scones today but looking at how my syns have added up I really dont think making scones is going to be a good idea!!!!

Strawberries for me, all the way :)

It feels ages since I did a syns review before a class on a monday...... I dont think this week has gone hugely bad but not particularly good either. Not going to depress myself with the numbers this week, so just fingers crossed for weigh in

I think your menus are looking lovely at the moment! I hope you get a result tomorrow, will cross fingers for you.

I couldn't find that frozen yogurt in my Tesco's, maybe it will turn up in a few weeks. Your home-made creation sounds fantastic though! I've been on the B&J choc fudge again, it's got a bit crystalised in the freezer which is a shame. Fear not though, it's not deterring me from eating it!

Well I lost half tonight (which is lucky and considering I ate a fair amount of chocolate before class, it was actually very lucky and makes me think if I didnt lose the plot on sun/mon I'd have actually done ok!).

Keep your eyes peeled for the frozen yog, it was only out in the last week or so I think.

Well I'm thinking of doing a little simply filling for a change. It does seem to good to be true though as it looks like the old core plan (where you had 21 weekly points) but with 49 weekly points. Will have another route around in my books tonight.

I've not been very impressed with class tonight:
* very happy clappy (so and so has been here 5 mins and lost 1stone 7lb etc etc all night, I shouldnt feel like this but I do, especially when I'm struggling!)
* very childish with certificates and stickers!
* not very helpful really

I start to realise that if I want to change its me who has to make the change, not just turn up to a class and expect it to just happen ! :)

Ah but thinking about it, it used to be simply filling + 21 points over the week but now it'd be simply filling +49 pro-points, so perhaps thats what the difference is.

Since I have a book with points, rather than pro-points maybe I should stick with that if I give it a go!

If you've got the books with the old points then maybe stick with that. I get the impression that there are roughly 2 pp's to every old point so it's not quite the bonanza it sounds!

Glad to hear that you had a loss - especially when it could have gone either way! Sorry your class was a bit rubbish though, maybe it is time for a change and that was a sign, or it could just have been a one off and next week will be amazing. I'll be interested to hear what you decide ...

Ha ha - watch this space :) Thanks for your support ;):D

Gobolinos Core Plan (from 2008!)
B-nice bowl of porridge J with 1% milk
(I know it should be skimmed but this is what we have at the moment)

Sn- pineapple, grapes, strawbs, banana, apple, kiwi
(so far so good, feeling more in control but I guess we’re only a few hrs into the day) - had more of this fruit salad in the afternoon too.

D-tuna, cottage cheese, cucumber and tomato with 2 scan bran

sn- apple

T-roasted veggies with 2 tsp oil J and jacket potato and cottage cheese

sn- hot milk

21 weekly points remaining

I’m getting hugely excited about having an avocado in a salad– ha ha ha !

Ooh look at you going all WW! Your food looks good - you must have had a good old read of those books last night. Hope you enjoy your day and that the happy 'in control' feelings last. Looking forward to another update!

Ha ha - I'm a sheep, I go with the crowd ;) Well really I think I just needed to have something different to focus on instead of dwelling on the number of weeks I've not been able to stick to SW plan recently!

B-nice bowl of porridge J with 1% milk

Sn- pineapple, grapes, strawbs, banana, apple, kiwi

D-tuna, cottage cheese, cucumber and tomato with 2 scan bran

sn- apple

T-roasted veggies with 2 tsp oil J and jacket potato and cottage cheese

sn- hot milk

In terms of SW the day would have looked like this:
porridge roughly HB HB milk HA
tuna HB or 6 syns
scan bran 2 syns
2 tsp oil HB or 6 syns
milk HA
remaining bits - free

So although on SW we cant have all those healthy extras, if I turn a few HBs into 6 syns each........ my totals would be HB HB HA HA & 14 syns. So 'sort of' a good SW day but without the measuring :)
