Green Day thread. ..

So I messed up slightly this morning, I had a wholemeal roll which weighed 120g.( My other bread want defrosted!) I am I right in thinking I can rectify this by using two HXB choices?
I am off to Sainsburys now to try and find one of those chip trays to make slimming world chips for tea!

Tace,have you tried the vbites rashers? if so, what are they like? What are the syns?
I've had the quorn ones before I went vegan, didn't think much of them. I've also had the asda and redwood ones which are quite nice. Asda's are 1.5 syns per rasher and the redwood were 3.5 per packet (1 think 7 rashers so 0.5 syn per rasher), the quorn ones are 5 syns per packet. Hope this helps :)

Yes you can, it says 60g of any wholemeal bread is a HEB so it would be 2
 
I LOVE the tesco meat free bacon rashers but my tesco doesn't sell em anymore .. They fry up nice, quorn ones Don't but still taste nice for a bacon butty ;) xx
 
My menu is the same as yesterday to the T so I won't bother posting it yet again! Am in the transitional phase of goign Vegan, only a couple more days and then we will have eaten everything that needs eating that isn't Vegan friendly. Can't wait!
 
Today -

B- 2 wholemeal seeded & laughing cow light
(2 HEXB, HEXA)

D- jacket spud, ff cottage cheese w/pineapple (3) 1/2 pack quorn sliced roast fillets (0.5) salad

T- lentil soup, nectarine, apple, Alpen light (3)

S- syn free pancakes, starburst (5)

11.5 syns

I did the same because I was the only veggie in the house, didn't like just throwing food away so used everything up in the house.

I'm back to work tonight, as I work nights i eat at funny times, here's my menu for today

Breakfast- none because of WI and going back on nights
Dinner- 2 x LM sausages, beans, mushrooms, roasted tomato and SW chips
Tea- vegan macaroni cheese (HEB + 1.5 syns) with broccoli and cauli in it and will do either some veg or lentils with it, followed by fresh fruit
Lunch for work- redwood slice & tomato sandwich (HEB + 1 syn), mixed salad with olives (1 syn), apple and a packet of french fries (4 syns)
 
Today
Am wholemeal toast
X2 alpen light
Fruit salad lunch
Out for tea.. Think pasta & wine
Strawberries for supper
 
Menu for today:

B - 2 Weetabix, a banana and Alpro Soya Light (HEB and HEA)
S - 2 bananas
L - 2 slices 400g wholemeal bread (5 syns) with 20g vegan cheese (3 syns), salad with seeds and balsamic dressing (2 syns), 100g Alpro soya vanilla yogurt (1.5 syns)
S - 1 banana
D - Quorn lasagne with ragu sauce (1.5 syns) and dairy-free cheese sauce replacer (1 syn) and 40g vegan cheese (HEB and 1 syn) plus potatoes and plenty of veg
200ml Oatly chocolate drink (HEA)​

Tea-vospov khyma (armenian red lentils and bulgur wheat), roasted sweet potatoes, broccoli, sprouts and cauli
Lunch for work-hummus pitta (HEB + 2.5 syns) with mixed salad and tomato, apple, packet of french fries (4 syns) and alpro choc pud (5.5 syns)

12.5 syns :)

B - 35g Tesco blueberry wheats, and Blue Diamond Almond Breeze unsweetened (HEB and HEA)
S - 2 bananas
L - 2 slices 400g wholemeal bread (half HEB + 2.5 syns) with 20g vegan cheese spread (half HEB), creamy cheese mug shot (2.5 syns), 100g Alpro soya vanilla yogurt (1.5 syns)
D - Quorn lasagne with ragu sauce (1.5 syns) and dairy-free cheese sauce replacer (1 syn) and 40g vegan cheese (6 syns) plus savoury rice (free) and plenty of veg
200ml Oatly chocolate drink (HEA)
