Hey Hannah! Personally I don't think your day looks too bad, yes I know you're trying to eat your TDEE but these things happen and it's not like you ate 5 Times the amount! Today is a new day and hopefully will be a better one food wise :) PS-Courgette n Pasta Soup sounds yummy, did u make it? X

Oh Serena, courgette & pasta soup is from a soup recipe book I have which I love!!

Fry onion & garlic in frylight & water if needed, I put a few fresh chill is in too. Once soft & lovely add 6 courgette, 2 medium potatoes & approx 2pt stock & dried herbs. Once cooked, blend, then add pasta, rind & juice of a lemon, once pasta done season & serve :) Really much yummier than I'd imagined!

Mmmmmmm that does sounds good! Might just have to make that! And I guess I'd only have to pp the Pasta, Potato and Stock? X

Great news on the loss, that's great. And the food pictures look gorgeous. I love mash potatoes and would LOVE to have steak and mashed potatoes for dinner but OH hates mash :( So only ever get to have it when he's not about. The cake looks great too. What recipe did you use? Haven't seen one with creme fraise before but imagine that would give the cake a nice tang. The recipe i use is a sophie dahl one I found online. Its kind of odd in that you blend chocolate and sugar to a rough powder, then add the butter, egg yolks and hot water to melt then mix that into whisked egg whites. Never made a cake like that in my life but the texture of the cake is divine.

Don't worry too much about the "oops day". We all have them sometimes. Its much more about what we do afterwards that dictates our weight I reckon.

Re: Healthy eating for life?? Here's hoping!!

Don't be too hard on yourself hon. You're tweaking things-it'll take a while. :D

Thanks but it's not an official loss!! I'm sure this weekend will make up for it but it probably goes to show how much water I retained through drinking so much & eating so much bread!

Cake recipe was from allrecipes
120g choc melted with 120g butter
Add to 150g caster sugar, 50g cocoa powder, 3 beaten eggs & tspn vanilla essence
Fan oven 150 for 30 min

Approx 500 cals/slice as I reckon it only serves 6! Not a healthy option, really decadent - yum!!

Mmmmmm that cake sounds yummy! I'm meant to be making Banana Muffins today but not got round to it yet! X

I was quite good in those, but too much bread & I made and are nearly a whole batch of macaroons...feeling bloated. Def back on track tomorrow, no excuses, back to work, on my feet & in a routine, phew!

Mmmmmmm Macaroons! Well I managed to scoff 15pp of Cereal in my hour of need yesterday :-( How are u finding being back on track today? X

Hope going back to work today wasn't too bad. How is the ankle holding up? I think being stuck at home and not up to much when you aren't used to it can play havoc with your eating so don't feel to bad about having a day not on track.

I've never made macaroons and although I am not a big fan always want to because they look so pretty! I love all the fancy colours and flavours they do on the cookery shows. I have often fancied making sugared violet macaroons and rhubarb and rose. This is probably just a grand plan that will never happen though.

15pp of cereal - impressive!!

Ankle sore but liveable with! Looong day today so looking forward to home!

I like the challenge of macaroons although there is a lot I'd swearing in the whole process!!

Patchy reception at the moment (train) - I'm about to upload today's food from a saved note in my phone!!
