Don't like fruity teas. Never tried em cold tho? Do you boil water then leave em to cool?
Keep trying Green Tea as everyone says its god for you. Yucky yuck.

No I just stuck a tea bag in cold water. Give it a good shake. It doesn't absorb as much flavour when its cold but you get plenty. I think the hot teas were maybe just too strong for me, I rather like a plain hint of flavour rather than a big hit. My pt suggested it! Looks like you've got piss in your bottle but sure it's all good craic lol xx

Ah she's comin on rightly.

Working on low carb breakfasts on my up weekdays. Full fat plain yog and walnuts. Was going to have a low carb lunch but I've leftover pizza to eat for lunch. I figured doing low carb breakfasts is a good step first and I'll work on lowering lunch next week. Baby steps!

I'm never changing my up dinners, carb crash city! And not touching weekends at the mo, will see how I go with the weekdays first. I need variation in my life and low carb doesn't do that for me :p xx

Cracking job missus :)

Ur UD brekkie sounds great. Similar to what I have on training days. Do you like almonds? They have got a really good dollop of protein in too and I find I get full and loads of energy if i have them a couple hours before training. You can get Almond butter too, like tastier and healthier peanut butter-great blended in to yoghurts and protein shakes, or on toast for pre training snack :)
Alternatively stick to walnuts if its what u like, apologies i get all carried away when i catch wind. Of something that interests me! Xxx

No no suggestions are good!! I've never had almond butter! Not a great fan of pb so could be a useful alternative! I'll try almonds too thank you pet! Xx

haha han i love shiz like this, its nice to see your 'plan' written down i find, makes you feel all positive and your mind focused. I'm almost embarrassed to say I had meal charts and had different brekkies, lunched etc written down on cards and used to swap them over on a chart for planning purposes. Now that incoorporated cutting and sticking as well as colouring ;-)
If you ever want any suggestions about food and stuff pls do ask, I love helping people with it. My dream is actually to train properly as a nutritionalist, pipe dream atm though! Know i'm not exactly a shining example of a healthy food relationship, but I do know a fair amount about nutrition and exercise so just holla if you need too:) xxx

Oh my that's a great idea I might do that, lil laminated cards and blu tac omg omg *excited* :D

I have a vague idea about low carb and nutrition but I still have lots to learn so ur help is more than welcome xx

I had me yog and about 8/10 walnuts in it, about 10g carbs roughly so not bad. Love the tart yoghurt against the sweet nutty walnuts omnnom. and it was normal yoghurt, not low fat (as lf has more carbs) so nice and creamy yums

Not sure what I should be aiming for as low carb per meal? Was thinking 10 for brekkie and maybe 25 for lunch? Suggestions? Xx

Sounds yummy :) I love walnuts in salad too, Waldorf or whatever the one with apple too is called!?
I always thought about 7-10g carb per meal roughly, and no more than 40g per day for low carb. Depending on what u are doing in a day though you can distribute it differently, and there are SO many contradicting theories it makes my brain boggle! X
 
I'll be doing low carb on my up up down during the weekdays, so only 2 meals to worry about. So that could possibly work out ok. Need to brainstorm lots of low carb ideas so I've no excuse to derail.

Also getting annoyed on Facebook - but this guy is always arguing for the sake of arguing

Oh han i wrote u a nice long msg but it didnt send! Basically i said, let the haters hate, clearly this plan works an is not unhealthy at all and in actual fact there is a lot of science and research supporting it. This chap is clearly very narrow minded. I/we would never slag of a diet as there are so many and different things suit different people, there is room for them all. He clearly thinks he knows better which is fine but DO NOT justify yourself to him!! Xxx

Ps i reeeeeally want to 'comment' on it! Just a pointed polite one ;-)

I'm very good at making lists, and colour coding them ...... And then going off and doing something completely different, not on my list!

I agree just ignore him, maybe send him a link to the diet but otherwise ignore it.

Yeah I agree thanks for the backup. I really don't like him and tempted to delete him from Facebook. He just likes arguing no matter what it is about.

I've had so so so much support from everyone it actually brings a tear to my eye. I think it was the right time to come out with it. There's always gonna be at least one negative nancy no matter what evidence you throw in their direction they are still against it. One of the girls in work came downstairs to see me and said she'd noticed and how well I was doing etc. I felt like giving her a hug lol xx

And yes that is so me lol xx
