(was supposed to be on toast as my HEB, but it was a homemade wholemeal loaf I made with different yeast than usual – and had the texture of a brick, so I gave up after 2 bites)

Whole lasagne = 12.5 syns + 3 HEA

I ate 1/3 lasagne = 5 syns +1 HEA

Tomato and basil salad dressed with balsamic vinegar

Hi Hollys nan,
I think what makes this an interesting stew is the vinegar..

I used this recipe to work from - the red cabbage side dish is yummy and traditional - but no red cabbage here. My OH is dutch so was very happy to have this for dinner!
 
oh and I forgot to say to thicken the stew I fished out some of the onions, and a few cubes of meat and whizzed them up and poured back in the pot - it works really well.

Do you do exercise at home or in classes?
 
thanks Sarah-Jayne! As I'm not working over here I have time to plan/prepare meals.

Apart from the yoga/bollywood dance which is a class, I exercise at home. I have a large collection of yoga / pilates / bellydance / bosu dvds and downloads, as I get annoyed with the instructors if I have to do the same one everyday, and start talking back to them ;) lol.

Because I've lived outside of the UK for the past 15 years it has always been a challenge to find classes in english or that I could follow, hence the collection!
