Tuesday 3rd January - Extra Easy

Breakfast: sausage sarnie (3x ww sausages 1.5, 1tbsp BBQ sauce 1.0, 2x wholemeal bread HEB), banana

Lunch: sweet potato, chorizo and rocket salad (3.0 + HEA)

Dinner: spicy chicken drumsticks, SW chips and SW coleslaw (1tbsp EL mayo 1.0)

Snacks:

Drinks: lemon squash
Apple & raspberry flavoured water

Mmm positives.. Seeing I'm usually a positive person why do I find it so hard?!

1. Happy to be fully back on plan, all the gorgeous foods you can eat
2. Looking forward to being a size 14 (!!) at my stepdaughters wedding in September
3. Looking forward to starting to exercise again (did I really say that?!)

Can anyone tell me why its so tempting to eat naughty things when there are so many lovely things you can have on this plan?! I eat so much better whilst following SW and seem to eat more than I do when not on plan so why do I fall off sometimes?

Just has a gorgeous sweet potato, chorizo and rocket salad, so scrummy and lovely big portion, only problem was that it seemed to spit so badly when I put the vinegar in that the kitchen is now splattered with orange chorizo juice which seeing I cleaned all the kitchen cupboards and cooker hood yesterday I'm a tad miffed about lol!

Ooh yum yum!

Can't help you with the spitting Im afraid as its not something i usually cook but must try soon! Maybe its like bacon with the little bits of fat in it?

I'm thinking perhaps I should have taken it off the heat first!

Haven't stopped in the kitchen today, made lunch, sat down for about 1/4 hour to eat it and catch up on here and then... Marinated chicken and made coleslaw for tonights dinner, made a leek & potato soup and a BNS, red onion and chilli risotto and then cooked tonight's dinner ... So much washing up, was in kitchen about 5 hours!
 
Well done :)

So impressed. I've not done any washing up so am being lazy and leaving it till tomorrow!!!

Morning girlies, I washed up so much yesterday that didn't bother with last nights dinner plates etc.. They await me this morning!

Positives for today:
1. The injection I get at consultants today is going to make me pain free yippee
2. I'm getting to see my parents as they're taking me to hospital as Mark working
3. It's Jake (my step Grandson's) birthday and he always makes me smile

And no snacks.. My meals were gorgeous, so filling and didn't feel tempted to pick.. Well that's a lie really as I tasted a spoonful of the soup I made, a spoonful of the risotto so perhaps I did snack but all free lol!
 
I bought a kettle bell! And I've just used it! Spent about 10 minutes working out (had to be careful with left leg as that's still weak) but was really huffing and puffing.. I'm so unfit but that's my first bit of exercise for the year! Hopefully they'll be loads more to come.

Wednesday 4th January

Breakfast: sausage sarnie (3x WW sausages 1.5, 2x wholemeal bread HEB, 1tbsp BBQ sauce 1.0)

Lunch:Sweet potato, chorizo & rocket salad (3.0 + HEA)

Dinner: pork fillet wrapped in Parma ham with SW roast potatoes, courgettes & carrots (2.0 for stuffing) with gravy (1.0 for 1 tsp)

Snacks: nectarine, chicken drumstick, banana

Drinks: apple & raspberry water
Orange & pineapple squash
2x Dr Pepper zero

Total syns: 8.5


I know I'm having the same as yesterday for breakfast & lunch but sausages needed using up and made enough salad for 2 days.

Not long now until I see the consultant, I'm sort of excited and scared! X
