I think when I hit 40 I'm going to start working backwards lol! My hubby is now 48, can't believe how quick 50 is going to sneak up on him poor thing, he's lucky he doesn't look his age but my motto is "you're only as old as the women you feel" and being that I've just turned 34 he's doing okay!

So much for thinking I'll start today back on track.. Bread mouldy lol! Then as it was quite late I thought I'd have brunch instead, thought I'd use up Thai fishcakes from Aldi, thought they were FREE.. Oh no they're now 6 syns ha ha oh well they were nice but did think they were a bit too good to be true to be FREE.

The only famous person I can think of off the top of my head in the panto is the women in Eastenders with the squeaky voice, what's her name? Stacey's mum? Oh yes Jean Slater! X
 
Happy New Year everyone, hope you all had a fab evening, we stayed in and had a lovely meal with friends and played "we sing".. Although it should be called "we can't sing!"

Naughty food last night and lots to drink, really wanted to be back on plan 100% today but hubby has arranged for us to go to his mums for dinner, apparently she is doing chicken with stuffing but her roasts although tasty and the most delicious I've tasted consist of gorgeous roast potatoes cooked in dripping! I can't resist but I can't even begin to guess how many syns!

Have also got some chocolate left that I forgot about which I was bought for Christmas, I may eat that, get it out the way and then move on tomorrow as planned.. Well at least I was on plan Friday and most of yesterday which is better than originally planned! X

Yes dripping.. Which is why I try to avoid going for dinner there as her meals are so lovely but so so naughty! X
 
I'm going to try and do 3 positives (stay positive, I can do this!) and also do a list of what I will have achieved by the end of 2012 as if I've already achieved them.

Positives:
1. I am ready to start SW afresh tomorrow
2. I have gained so much out of joining minimims.. Knowledge, friendship and support
3. I feel so much healthier since starting SW, IBS and skin has improved

What I will have achieved by end of 2012:
1. I made more of an effort to see my friends
2. Decluttered the house
3. I made exercise a habit
4. I returned texts and emails quicker than I did in 2011
5. Kept the house clean and tidy
6. Wearing a size 12

I'm sure there are more but it's a start! X

Basically don't be a perfectionist, just do everything little steps at a time, so set timer for 15 mins and then stop, stops you getting bogged down, I'm so far from "flying" it's unreal but it's really helped, my house looks so much better now but I'm not doing it properly.. Wish I was!

It also helps as splits your house into zones and gives a comprehensive cleaning list.. What I'd love is for someone to come in and give our house a good thorough clean and then I'll stay on top of it.. Well try to!

When I go to other peoples houses that are immaculate I always wonder how they do it! I seen to spend more time cooking and then washing up the stuff than actually cleaning! X

Today is the start of a healthy year, I'm feeling good (despite poor hubby not well and keeping me up most of the night poor thing) and looking forward to getting back on plan.

Today's positive:
1. It's sunny and I feel happy
2. Rather than slob about in my PJ's all day as I don't need to go out, I'm about to jump in shower and refresh myself so raring to start the day (even though it is 11am lol)
3. Ready to start SW and enjoy all the lovely food again
4. Normally feel sad taking down Christmas decorations but going to take them down positively, pack them away neatly and rather than be down about the house looking empty without them I am going to buy some flowers and brighten up the place

Breakfast: beans on toast (HEB), plums

Lunch: jacket potato (so tiny hardly worth having!), tuna, sweetcorn, 1tbsp EL mayo (1.0) with watercress, tomatoes and spring onion

Dinner: steak, SW chips, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms (and even managed no ketchup!)

Snacks: 3x slices ham
30g cheddar (HEA)
Banana
2x chocolates (4.5)

Drinks: lemon squash
1x Pepsi max

Total syns: 5.5
