Sorry to just hi-jack! I started the 30 day shred at the weekend and it's energetic, makes your muscles burn, gets you hot and sweaty and heavy breathing BUT I feel amazing after! I still have 6 stone to go and even I can handle it (just!) he he xx

No worries about hijacking, thanks for telling me about it.. I've bought fitness DVDs before though and use them once and never again so not sure I could stick to it for 30 days! Can you see results? X

I measured myself on Sunday and will be every week until the end of the month. I haven't exercised like this since I left school over 10 yrs ago and for only a 20 minute work out it fits in perfectly. I can feel my thighs getting firmer and my back and stomach definitely feel the burn. I won't know real results until I measure I guess! Xx

I was thinking the same! Went for a walk this afternoon to try loosening up my hip and on way back Mark wanted chips from chip shop, I stood in shop and still resisted!

If you're being good so am I! X

Goodo! I don't think id have resisted if i was actually stood in the shop though  your a better woman than me!xx

Mmm tempting, does it put a lot of pressure on hip/back? Is it more aerobic or floor work? Sorry so many questions! X

Not usually, don't know where the will power came from! The smell mmmm but was craving them all night, craving sweet stuff too.. Not sure what's wrong with me all I want to do is pig out, did have a piece of Christmas cake but only a tiny smidgen x

A tiny smidgen is ok!! I reckon you sent me some willpower and I sent you some right back subconsciously!!

When i did Jillian I remember a lot of floor work, probably not best for you at this time lovely xx

It was so tiny I've probably over synned it, bought it for Mark, wish I'd tried it whilst I was off plan over Christmas as it was so gorgeous, he left me a mouthful today and its all gone now, pity as it was so good but in a way it's good as it would have been calling my name.. You've definitely given me willpower.

I won't try Gillian yet then!

What's your next target to get too? And how much have you got left to lose to get there? X

It has jumping jacks which is probably the only thing I can think of because of the jolting. I am only one level one out of the three so unsure of the rest, sorry! Maybe best to check out the other threads where people have a bit more experience! But I would be happy just doing level one for the 30 days! Xx

I skipped the floor work as when I tried it my floor was too hard - I need a mat!

I can certainly feel it in my calves. I didn't do it today but now kind of regret it!!!

But I really do need a good sports bra - those jumping jacks hurt!

My calves did but the more I done it the better. Floor work I folded a thick blanket and put that down. But sports bra - I so need one! I do one handed jumping jacks currently ;) xx

Well done lisa for starting!!! yes a good bra is essential. It does get easier the more you do it, keep going I didn't see you post it on your thread. Sorry Helen chatting away on yours, I would wait till your hip is better, I can feel it in joints specially my knees, but it's all good xx

Next one is 14 stone 6 1/2lb so just under 1/2 stone away.. My aim is also valentines day so we've both got that to aim towards x

Lets do it then Helen Valentines day we will both be at least half a stone lighter!!

There are 12 weigh ins between now and the last day of March, thats averages out at 1.16lbs per week thats are a healthy average of weight to lose each week between now and then, I reckon you can ace that no problem :D

Hey!

Just read that your have bursitis. I also had that and have just finished a course of short wave therapy on my hip. It doesn't hurt at all and works a bit like an ultrasound, heating the tissues. I didn't ever have the injection but had weeks of physio which didn't help at all at the hospital so in the end they suggested the short wave therapy. It's a machine they have at the hospital and it takes 2mins and think I had 4 or 5 sessions. Maybe worth a try. If that hadn't worked then they were going to try acupuncture so if you're still suffering you could mention that.

Good luck. I know how painful it can be!

Let's hope so! Thing is don't know about you but even though I lost nearly 3 stone (despite putting back on 8lb at Christmas!!) I haven't really gone down that many dress sizes, I have read about people on here who have lost 2-3 stone and have gone from an 18 to a 10.. Wish that was me! I've gone from an 18-20 (22 in some shops/clothes) to a 16-18 so me hoping another stone would make me a 14 probably won't happen anyway!
