Helen's quest for good health!

I will try my best too, every time I've tried to get on this week life seems to have taken over, a busy week at work, especially today with the horrendous fog.

I do miss everyone when I can't get on, then I want to and don't have time to catch up with everyone so don't come on at all! X

Yes. I agree with Jackie. You must report in daily. Even if it's only on your thread! That's what I do when I'm busy anyway - I just go on my thread :)

That's the thing, I didn't! Had lots of naughty things and I was on my period this week.. All very strange.

Good idea about just popping on my thread, I did that a couple of times this week but then felt guilty as didn't manage to get on anyone else's x

I'm reporting for duty this morning! Lol

Hello everyone, well I'm just about to go to see some friends from work, we're meeting at one of their houses and going for a walk, lunch hasn't been mentioned but I'm guessing we will probably have some but goodness knows what, my plan is a salad or jacket potato if they serve something like that, planning on having stir fry for dinner, Mark is a Late shift today so it's me on my ownsome so dinner could change to something else depending on what we have for lunch.

Friday 2nd March

Breakfast: tomatoes on 1x toast (3.0)

Lunch: cheese and ham toastie (guessing HEA & HEB + 2.0 butter)

Dinner: stir fry vegetables, noodles, chicken, blue dragon stir fry sauce (3.5)

Snacks:

Drinks: squash, normal squash (1.0), Pepsi max

Had a lovely day with the girls from work, went for a walk through the woods to a pub, the others had lattes I had mineral water (no alcohol!), then we had a toasted cheese and ham sandwich at one of their houses, cheese was full fat but there wasn't loads so I'd say it was probably 30g so HEA and the bread was wholemeal, not sure which brand but counting it as HEB and then she put butter on the outside of the bread before toasting so guessing a tsp.

Cooked a stir fry this evening but it didn't cut it, just didn't taste great and I'd even bought a stir fry sauce but it just seemed bland, got the munchies now and still feel hungry, I've stayed within syns so might have 1 square of chocolate in a minute.
 
Another day up town this afternoon, meeting people I haven't seen in a long time, really looking forward to it but not a clue what we'll be eating or drinking, will have lunch before I leave and then go with the flow, really must stick to plan beforehand though.. Also I must report back here with whatever I've eaten.. Even if it's bad as that's the mistake I made last week!

You all must think I'm a social butterfly but seriously I don't usually go out this much! Just seems like everything is happening all at once.. These things are sent to try us on our SW journey x
 
If you can't be good - be careful ;-)

Just make better choices on the menu so choose a JP instead of chips etc. anyway you'll be fine. And I'll be here later to hear all about it! :)

Thanks Lisa, the boys we're out with don't usually eat when they're on a drinking session so hubby and I might need to sneak off somewhere for food! X
 
We had a really great time, it was so funny, we were in pub by 4pm but had to leave by 11pm to get the last train home, it was a very long journey home, just wanted my bed by that time.

Got refused entry to a pub for being too drunk! Oops didn't actually think I was that drunk, think I was staggering more because my shoes were killing me!

In a way it was good having to get that last train back as we would have ended up not getting back to someone's house until about 6.30am like last week and I'm not young!

So food and drink wise, lots to drink that I cannot tell you the syns as I don't actually know how much I had, when we were leaving Soho realised how hungry we were and hadn't eaten since about 2pm so we grabbed a kebab, naughty I know! However it was absolutely gorgeous, I had chicken and it was really tender and tasty, lovely but again goodness knows how many syns!

Today we are taking my stepsons out for dinner, we're going for carvery, having only had 1 in my life I don't really know what they're about so guessing I have to have roast.. Lots of syns! I suggested another restaurant, for selfish reasons (so I could pick within plan) but as they're 14 people going they all wanted to go here, I won't be drinking though and will keep to plan the rest of the day, so syns for fat the potatoes are cooked in, gravy, Yorkshire pud if I have one and anything else I can't think of! X
 
Carvery isn't that bad syn wise - you could have meat and tons of veg?

I hate to say this, yes I could but roast potatoes are probably the best thing ever invented.. When done properly, so if they're lovely looking I don't think I could not have them! X
