Hey morning Emma, things good here, had a great weekend.. No excuses now, 100% now.

I'll keep you awake! Supposed to be on Nights for 3 days but managed to get swaps last minute, exhausted now though so could have done with the lie in!

So got Early today, Late tomorrow, Early Wednesday, Late Thursday & Friday and Early Saturday.. Phew made me worn out just thinking about it! That will give me about 2 1/2hours sleep Tuesday night so am trying to get a Late Wednesday or an Early tomorrow! Also got to try and get to a class somehow.

Hope that 3 hours whizzes by x
 
Ouch lates followed by earlies id be passing out! Its bad enough doing it here but at least there's 9 hours between shifts, you get barely anytime :eek:
 
I know we're supposed to have a 7 1/2 gap between shifts but I have an hour drive each way plus getting ready time but it's let us put a swap in system that I finish at 1am and back at 6.30am.. Oops!

I'm sure I'll get a swap.. I hope I get a swap!
 
Isn't it 12 hours between shifts??
 
Monday 5th March (Early shift)

Breakfast: 2x toast (HEB), 30g low low cheese spread (1/2 HEA), banana

Lunch: meditarranean vegetable soup, jacket potato, 22g rf cheddar (1/2 HEA), baked beans

Dinner: chorizo potatoes (9.0!), chicken with bacon and cheese (2.0), spinach and tomatoes, 2x tbsp el mayo (1.0)

Snacks: apple

Drinks: water, Pepsi max, squash, dr pepper zero

Total syns: 12.0

Had 2 lunches today, was hungry before leaving for work so had breakfast at 4.15am, lunch at 10.30 so by the time I got home just before 3pm I was hungry again, wanted to pick naughty things but had jacket potato instead, no syns but more satisfying.

Mark wanted his favourite chorizo potatoes, mmm they are lovely but lots of syns and the chicken was a Tesco one which used to be FREE but got it out of the freezer and it's gone up to 2.0 syns and really not worth it, can make it far tastier myself.

Not gone over syns but could have done with having far less to cut back after the weekend.
 
Forget the weekend! Don't panic about keeping syns low have what you fancy and what is tasty! Now then chorizo potatoes sound yum :drool:

They are lovely, it's an old recipe but one Mark loves so every once in a while I have to cook them, basically cut potatoes into small cubes (don't bother peeling), cut chorizo into small cubes, throw it in roasting tin with chopped chilli, season with salt and pepper, supposed to put olive oil but I just use fry light, roast for about 40mins and then mix with chopped fresh parsley.. Would be less syns if used less chorizo but that's the best bit and although Mark has most the chorizo I syn it as half each x
 
I really shouldn't be drooling over those potatoes at 5am lol

I am Emma, sun is shining and I've got a big smile plastered over my face, we booked a night away in a boutique hotel, can't wait!

Shame I'm not off today, feel in the mood to get things done today, want to get out in the garden and get rid of the winter mess and make it look all cheery again, instead I've made a BNS risotto and the puttanesca again, so that's today's and tomorrow meals cooked and the freezer getting stocked up again, I like this shift, I get so much done before hand and bonus is I found out I'm a Late shift tomorrow so no tight turnaround for me in the morning.. Perhaps that's why I'm feeling so cheery!
