Helen's quest for good health!

After 4 weeks of sts or gaining.. I've lost 3 1/2lb! So pleased, Extra Easy seems to definitely suit me better. Down to 2st 13 1/2lb loss.. again.. Every time I've got here before I've gained, really trying to aim for 1/2lb off despite going out on Saturday night, I know it's going to be a big drinking session but thinking I might take some diet soft drinks with me, whether I actually get to drink them is another thing!

I've got mums birthday and hubby's birthday this weekend but I'm determined to stick to plan.

Good idea to take soft drinks alternate them once people have had a few they won't notice what you've got, you can always say there's a vodka in it anyway ;-)

it's your decision, but I'm personally beginning to be aware that a lot of my habits are because i have what I think other people think I should choose, not necessarily what I really want. Hope that makes sense. Whatever you deciede just make sure you enjoy your night out cause at the end of the day it's one night out of the week.

Thanks so much for your lovely message, it's so true that you tend to do what other people want, I do want to be good but I'm easily swayed, there's no way of getting around it and saying there's vodka in it as its a Come Dine With Me evening so will be sat at a table, will see how it goes, determined to stay on track the rest of the week so hopefully letting my hair down once this week will be okay.

ooh come dine with me sounds brilliant. well you just enjoy it cause whoever is hosting will have gone to a lot of trouble for you all, I say give yourself the night off again it's not something you do every week.

We've been doing it for a few years, with a year gap as my mate went to NZ, this is the first once since he came back. This season is fancy dress, we did Vicar's tea party last time and tomorrow the theme is war! (we came up with the themes when we were drunk and pulled them out of a hat!), been told to bring sleeping bag and warm blanket so we might be sleeping outside! My gas mask has not arrived yet though..
 
Friday 30th March - Extra Easy (OFF)

Breakfast: BLT (HEB + 0.5)

Lunch: baked salmon with roasted tomatoes and butternut squash (1.0)

Dinner: mushroom & blue cheese steaks with rosemary (5.0), curly kale

Spring cleaning! Went to Tesco and when I got back hubby was in loft, bearing in mind he'd moaned I'd asked him to go up there to get something.. And decided to declutter.. The loft has a clear area, the rest of the house looks like a bombs hit it now though! Have thrown some and have a pile for selling, trying to be ruthless but have so much still in loft, the plan is when we get back off holiday, we grab one box and sort that out then next time another one and do it slowly.. Well that's the plan!

Tis yummy, forgot how gorgeous that salmon dish is.. And we've got fillet steak tonight before going to cinema as I said I didn't want to eat out as really want my 3 stone next week now it's within my grasp.. Again! X
 
Went to cinema last night, loved the Hunger Games but want the next two to come out soon.
