Helen's quest for good health!

Now today I have done something I haven't done for 8 months.. Gone for a run.. Well that's rather extreme, more a jog! My consultant said not to run but I didn't know what to do as been in a lot of pain last few weeks so figured I need some exercise to get my hip moving again so I did 1/2 hour of brisk walking and a little jogging as thought that might be okay, I was slow though as managed 2 miles in 29 mins 33 secs, that's slow I think isn't it? Did lots and lots of stretching afterwards as well so fingers x'd x

Omg not visited in a few days and your marathon cooking, spring cleaning and now running !!!!! Fantastic motivation there Helen your on a mission well done !!! :)
Hope it helps your hip, and don't worry about time it's doing it that counts and everyone has to start somewhere so well done for doing it :)

Fab loss this week too!!

Erm no it's not okay! The pain radiates to my groin and ouch, really struggled towards the end of my shift last night and driving home was a killer, was going to go out again for another run this morning but have decided to leave it until next week (unless I can find some time before that), just rest it up this morning before work.. This is not going to beat me, I will get back to exercise, just pisses me off sometime that this all stems from falling over at work! Anyway I've just comment on your thread but well done on the fab loss x

Morning all, mad night at work, supposed to finish at 2200, finally got out at 2300 but I could have gone but was helping someone.. Think the millennium bug hit 12 years too late! We have virtual printers and usually you just have a handful of things on them, occasionally on editing up to say 100 things.. Try 3500!! All aircraft changes, manic is not the word!

Let's hope tonight's easier as I'm Earlies tomorrow so don't fancy getting out too late.

Thursday 17th May - Extra Easy (L1)

Lunch: jacket potato, prawns, seafood sauce (1.5), salad

Dinner: Mexican bake (HEA + 5.0), broccoli, carrots, sweetcorn

It must really get you down... I know when my leg plays me up how low it makes me... It's hard to concentrate on anything when you are in pain...xx
