Tuesday 17th May (Early shift)

Breakfast:
Activia Vanilla FF yogurt
Blueberries & grapes

Lunch:
Savoury rice with mushrooms and bacon
Apple
Plums

Dinner:
Levi Roots sunshine burger (4.5 due lean mince)
Sunshine sauce (3.0)
Gherkins and tomato
Potato wedges
Wholemeal roll (HEB)
2x cheese slices (HEA)

Snacks:
Dairy Milk bliss, 2x squares (5.0)

Total syns: 12.5

Haven't eaten enough fruit and veg today but burgers and sauce were scrummy, will definitely make again but pray Tesco's actually have extra lean mince next time.

Hi, I'm probably not the best person to follow lol but when I do experiment I love adapting recipes, Levi's recipes aren't too hard to adapt x
 
Well I'm back! Talked about loads of things, my car crash, nightmares since even though I'm fine driving, other people's emotions I take on and also my scardiness as well as my binge/secret eating, I've told her it was a big thing admitting to it but need to sort it.

She ended up doing post traumatic stress work on my fear, she thinks that could be an anchor and seems to be worse than my eating at the moment, seems to stem back from when my Dad made me jump when I was little by coming up behind me and grabbed me around the waist to tickle me and I screamed and was so scared, fingers crossed now I won't be so jumpy and might also be able to listen to the slimpods without waking up scared!

It was so easy to talk to her, she says that some people smoke or drink or go for a run when an emotion effects them and other people turn to food and it's trying to change that, she says it doesn't help that I get so effected by other people emotions, she said its good I'm so intuitive and could put this into my career by working with people but I need to almost put up a shield so I'm not so affected as not only do I binge when I'm feeling emotional but when other people are too, that's my way of dealing with it and need to find another outlet.

We are going to work on that next week but she felt she needed to deal with the fear first and looking back I don't feel my heart fluttering when I talk about it but the true test will be how jumpy I am this week.

Feel really positive and also really think the slimpods are working this week as I'm listening to my subconscious and not ignoring it, she wants me to continue to listen and if I still find myself waking up upset after listening she will record me something to listen to as she says a women's voice might be easier for me x
 
That's great Helen... It's amazing what these people do... My therapist Jaredis a godsend... We got to the bottom of so much stuff and even now as soon as I feel like the black dog is hovering, I call and talk it through... Well done on making that leap... You are very brave and it will be such a help to you...xx

I'm pleased to say I lost 3 1/2lb tonight, really pleased with that as that's slimpods not SW as haven't been synning or counting HE's although some or the meals have been SW friendly and subconsciously looking back I was almost to plan anyway but feel they're working again.

Not quite sure when to listen tomorrow as I'm a Double (Late onto a Night), was thinking tomorrow morning but not sure when to write my positives in my journal, perhaps for the next few days I'll do it in the mornings x

Don't be worried, you'll be fine, your food looks great as usual, made the peanut curry for dinner tonight after seeing you'd made it, tried a bit and it's mmmm, so looking forward to having it later x
 
So guess whose wide awake already?! Won't be back in bed for another 26 hours so really need to try and get back to sleep.. So why am I on here lol?! X

I went back to sleep but awake now!

Going to listen to my pods now and hopefully fall asleep for another hour x
 
Feeling quite sad I'm going to miss watching the opening ceremony on tv, does anyone know if you can watch it on iPad?! If I can I might have to try having it on in the background whilst I'm working, any ideas? X

If you have sky you should be able to do it through sky go...xx
 
:wavey: hello Helen thats fab not jumpy yet. you shouldn't be, it really really does work. Its like a 'ping' and its gone :D gone for good, its just it will take us time to get used to doing things differently :D

THe pods are fab. Do them properly, relax into them and they work 300% fight them and they can't work :D What a fab loss Helen :woohoo: fab fab fab :D xxxxxx

Your posts always make me smile so much, thank you.

The jumpiness will be tested at work today, managed to listen to pods last night without waking up as well, so all's good.

Pleased about the loss especially as I'd gone not expecting one, makes it even better then! Keeping on podding along x
