Wednesday 22nd August (OFF)

Breakfast: 35g All Bran Golden Crunch (HEB), vanilla yogurt, banana

Lunch: prawns, mussels, squid, crabsticks, WW petit pain (HEB), seafood sauce (2.0)

Dinner: tandoori lamb, chicken thigh, salad

Snacks: nectarine, 45g rf cheddar

Total syns: 2.0 (oops not enough but did have plenty at the weekend so damage limitation!)

Exercise: 10K bike / 3K cross trainer, squats

Just going to the gym now to learn the new equipment and will catch up on diaries later x

I on the other hand looked at lunch and drooled...yum yum yum
and well done in resisting temptation
 
well all is looking good

I do hope MiL will be ok it does sound rather nasty

so how was the gym then
I was going to ask my gp for a referal today but she wont even let me start physio for a while yet - so thought she would say no :):)

I hope she'll be okay, they're worried it might be poisonous so just awaiting results now.

Gym was good, new equipment will be fine once I get my head around it, you have to physically lift the weights onto it which is fine until the fit bugger before you has got really heavy weights on it and they've forgot to take them off!

Just queuing for weigh in now as need to be at work at 4.30, really don't know how it's going to go, hoping for a loss as only had 1 bad day but you just never know!

Haven't had a chance to check diaries yet but will depending on how busy I am at work but might be able to pop in.

Forgot to do positives yesterday so here they are:
1) had a really good session at the gym
2) resisted temptation of naughty food
3) got over my embarrassment of taking my own food
4) the letter that had got me down yesterday I turned it around and spent that negative energy making a good letter to send to the solicitor

Well I put on 1/2lb, disappointed but trying to tell myself it's not all about the scales (is it Jackie ;-) ), Mark said it maybe all the exercise I've been doing, I'm still going to stay motivated this week and see what happens next week.. Annoying thing is my friend who came with me last weekend has not got back on track, eaten crap all week lost 1/2lb!

Sorry no chance to post my food or positives and haven't had time to go on diaries, home time for me and need bed when I get in, thanks everyone x

and ps it'll catch up with your friend no one gets away
with it in the end ;)

Unfortunately for the last month or two my friend has been bad and has hardly followed plan and lost or STS every week, she's only gained 1/2lb once! It's so unfair and she knows it as she sees how hard I try and don't seem to get anywhere, I mean it's stupid I've lost about 4lb since April! I know I've had trips away but I need to knuckle down or give up, need to stay as motivated as I have been this week and finally get somewhere, I can do it.. No, we can all do it together.

Right I'm offsky x

Awake already.. Was supposed to be going to the gym this morning but not sure I have the energy! We tried the new equipment yesterday but getting a Personal Trainer to show us correct technique this morning, perhaps I'll send Mark on his own, going to try getting more sleep x

I did go because couldn't get back to sleep but didn't really do much, just chatted to personal trainer and he showed us best techniques.


Thursday 23d August (LL)

Breakfast: bacon, 2x ww sausages (1.0), beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, 2 tbsp BBQ sauce (2.0)

Lunch: homous, carrots, celery, pitta bread (HEB)

Dinner: eastern salmon (honey 1.0), stir fry, new potatoes, chilli oil (2.0), salad cream (2.0) ... Eaten at 22:00 as couldn't get a break!

Snacks: flat peach

Drinks: squash, water (not enough)

Total syns: 8.0


Positives:
1) didn't let gaining get me down (too much!) it's not all about the scales
2) feel better about new gym equipment having Mark there, it's not so daunting
3) seemed to walk taller, feel good
4) didn't give into biscuits on desk because I couldn't get a break, just waited until 10pm ish for my dinner
5) stayed calm despite the chaos around me at work!

here is my take on your your tiny gain - did you wear the same clothes - if not that could be the answer
the exercise you have been doing WILL have aggravated your injury and the body WILL have retained fluid in that area
also half a pound can easily be down to what and how much is in your intestines - in other words scientifically its an ignorable amount :):) HONEST

how is MiL and when is she due her results

your food as usual looks good :)

are you working over the bank holiday weekend if so I hope its peaceful and flows smoothly - if not ENJOY

It's making me more determined to get a good loss next week! The salmon is gorgeous, haven't had it for so long and forgot how good it is, lovely cold too x

I always wear jeans to weigh in but as going straight to work I wore tailored trousers so if anything I would have thought they'd be lighter! Did have a fairly big breakfast about 10.30 so perhaps it was the amount of food in my intestine as usually I eat about midday and don't weigh until 7pm.

You're right about the fluid around it so perhaps it is, been exercising properly again for a couple of weeks so I'm sure it'll get used to it soon.

MIL got bad tummy due to antibiotics, not sure when the results come through but hopefully soon.

I'm working all weekend, Lates tonight, Early tomorrow (tight turnaround of 6 1/2hours between shifts and got and hour drive each way!) followed by family BBQ at parents hous in the afternoon, they'll be about 20 of us so should be a good laugh then I'm an Early on Monday too. What's your plans for weekend? X
 
I have all intentions of getting on here whilst at work but it doesn't always happen! Struggling to get all my HE's in whilst doing Red/Green as so used to only having one of each and don't want too much bread, ended up having a hifi bar at 2330 last night as hadn't had another HEB.

Friday 24th August (L2)

Breakfast: BLT (HEB + 1.0 for mayo)

Lunch: eastern salmon (1.0), salad

Dinner: peanut curry (4.5), Indian salad

Snacks: 45rf cheddar (HEA), grapes, strawberries, hifi bar (HEB)

Drinks: squash & water

Total syns: 6.5

Exercise: 5 minutes bike / 1/2hr trialling new equipment

Positives: (finding them hard today)
1) PT says weight loss isn't about the scales and know its true
2) Mark can't stop touching my bum we he walks past at the moment!!
3) Some blokes that Mark drinks with apparently said last night how much weight I've lost and looking good! Really?! Lol
4) enjoying eating all planned food and feeling full
