Hey I'll wave at you! Hate tight turnarounds, do you now get them as you've started 6&3? Trying to get a 6.30 start in morning so I get 7 1/2 hours between shifts, miss a bit more of BBQ but I might feel more human! X

No not anymore lucky for me
I'm on the perminate late rosta Helen
I prefer the later shifts far less hectic
 
Fab positives there :)

As for the healthy extras (waits for some SW enthusiasts to shout at me) you don't have to have 2 if you don't need them. They are allowances so you are allowed them but they are not essential. I have however had this debate before so I am ready for a backlash :D

I just felt like shouting
FULL STOP ......lol
 
no backlash from me
it actually says somewhere in the book (or used to) to eat the free foods then if hungry add in healthy extras then syns
you dont knee the HE for fibre with all the fruit and veg but depending on what other things you have on the green days a shot of protein might be needed

but I often cant find a healthy B I need or want so if you are not hungry and feel what you have eaten is nutritionally balanced DO have it :)

but I think puppy training is on the agenda - go to my diary for a sneaky peak :)

Thought there was going to be a fight here lol! Thanks for all your advice, I've been having them anyway, some days it's just easier than others.

Lucky thing, I love my Lates but then would never see Mark so normally just stick to my roster, 3 Lates / 3 Earlies (apart from night shift week!) x

Sorry I've been missing a few days, Saturday - Sunday I was Lates to Earlies so sleep came first! After work Sunday we had a family reunion around my parents, it was fab seeing everyone but I was exhausted (and still am!) by the time everyone left, we stayed at their house and then went straight to work on Monday for Early, had a shadow which always tires me, got home from there went straight to MIL's, got home and prepared food for Tuesday, did an Early yesterday and then went to see Paralympic Torch Relay, didn't get to see pyrotechnics etc apart from through the bedroom window.... And now relax!

Need to do housework etc today but all I want to do is catch up on much needed sleep, will lay here a little bit longer before I pull myself up, good excuse to see what you've all been up to x
 
Oh yeah forgot to say I've been on plan most of the time apart from Sunday afternoon when I had a couple of glasses of wine, a few chicken wings and some cheesecake and a slice of white bread and then last night some chips at torch relay as no time to cook when I got home from work before it started so being I've been so good the last few weeks and either STS or gained 1/2 I'm bound to be in for a big gain this week x
 
Thought I'd show you a few photos from the Olympic and Paralympic torch relays, the first photo is my friend Steve Morgan, he passed away about a week after he done this so this photo will always be special and then the second photo is Nikki Emerson, she trains at our gym, she lost the use of her legs after a car accident 2 years ago and has worked really hard to become an athlete now as she gained inspiration from her time spent in Stoke Mandeville hospital.

I've been asked if the photo of Nikki can be used by Heart radio on their website! X

Photos are ace, Helen... We might both be in for a gain this week but I have been away and so have you... We have to keep in mind that what we are doing is a long term change and we have to live... Any gains will go, so long as we keep trying when we can... xx
