Hi all,

After the school holidays which consisted of large quantities of alcohol and yo-yo dieting I'm back up to 12st4lb. I'm not in the least bit surprised after what I ate and drank in Cyprus last week!

I landed Saturday night and shopped for everything I need today. Unfortunately, after 8 months without a period (I have PCOS) it came with a vengeance yesterday along with a sore throat and full on cold. I'm hoping that a little of my weight is water weight but t's doubtful lol. My mum thinks (even though I'm 34 years old) that I shouldn't be starting a diet when I'm off colour but I really need to get stuck in.

Anyway, so far today I've had......................2 cups of tea with skimmed milk and a handful of grapes. I'm really not hungry but I'm looking at having a JP with beans later on.

I'm sticking with red/green day which I've done in the past. There won't be too many green days as the carbs don't work well for me and I've recently been put on metformin by my doctor.

That's all for now. Just thought I'd pop in and say hello...........again

What are you on? I so mainly red at the moment.

That was a green day for me. I didn't have any veg which was naughty but I'll get better once I get into it ha. I need to do mostly red days as I'm insulin resistant but with feeling poorly I just wanted stodge in the end :sigh:

Hey welcome back, I'm sure you had a good holiday by the sounds of it and to me that is what holidays are all about ;) Glad you're back on track.. I'm new to this, but really enjoying it, loving trying all the recipes and losing some weight.... Heading for my 3rd weigh in tomorrow, longest I've ever stuck to anything lol....

Good luck with the restart..... and what's the JP you have in your food diary? :)

Hiya!

Well I'm also back.... Again lol!

I started slimming world last oct at 13st after having my second child end of July. I was breast feeding full time so I was allowed 6hex on ee which was amazing as I LOVE cheese lol!

I lost 3 stone between oct-dec and was at my lowest weight of 9st10 in April, then I had a miscarriage and the diet went out the window!

I'm now 10st 8lb which isn't the end of the world (I thought I had gained a lot more!) however it is going to be a struggle for me as I now only get the standard 1 HEa and 1HEb when I'm used to so much more.... :(

It's my first official day back on track and I have so far had

1x wm toast
1/2 can beans
Mushrooms
Tomatoes
3 rashers of bacon all fat removed
1 egg
All cooked in fry light so all free :)

Hope I can stick to it!!! 2 stone to lose!

Good luck, we can do this :)

Hiya! Quite a few people returning lol, must be all getting ready to squeeze into our LBD at Christmas (I know I am, so that means 2 stone to lose!)

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. And you've hardly gained anything so that's fab :)

Tuesday 3rd Sept GREEN

Another good day...............so far anyway. Spent most of the day painting again so didn't bother cooking properly.

B: 4 slices toast (hexb), marge (2) eggs
L: Few grapes
D: Pasta n Sauce

Cup of tea with skimmed milk (hexa)

SYNS: 2

I really haven't eaten much today but no doubt I'll be hungry again later. And it will no doubt be some couscous or another pasta n sauce. I really need to get organised and start cooking but I've just moved so it's been chaos ha

Hi Baby,

It's so easy to put it all back on thought isn't it. I lost 2 stone with lighterlife, then a bit more with atkins, bounced around trying allsorts of other things in between and now I'm only a stone away from where I started from

Hi here to subscribe... good luck on ya restart
