Hev & Bev's 12 week countdown to target- Everyone welcome!!!

Eeek, I forgot to report in last week.... just a little half off for me. Oh well, another WI tomorrow and I have been soooooooooo good this week!
 
I guess I am reporting badly, my stats should now say 6.3 lbs to go :)
Sorry WG - I had you down with just 6.5 to go (what's 0.2 between friends) but I forgot to change what Hevs had. I think she missed your loss last week!
 
Well - not as bad as I thought this week.

Depending on how you look at it I've either lost or gained.

For the purposes of the challenge I've lost 1¾ lbs.
So my stats are now 6¼ lbs lost ~ 4¼ lbs to go.

The reason I say that it could be a gain is that I re-weighed last Tuesday due to the fact that I suspected Monday's WI had been a "bloated" one and I miraculously lost 2 lbs overnight. So in fact I have put on since last Tuesday!

So my total gain in the last 3 weeks is 1¾ lbs. Not good, but not too horrendous considering all the shennanigans of the last 3 weeks.

Mum goes home tomorrow and we then have 5 days clear of visitors so it's speeed soup and fruit for me for the next few days. The visitors that arrive next weekend are both natural skinnies and pescatarians so the food intake should be healthy and on diet.

With only 2 more WIs for me I think I might not make Target by the 10th!! :wave_cry:
 
At least you have a few days to concentrate hun and are never lonely, must be a sign of being a lovely person if you have people wanting to visit you x

That's such a nice thing to say Trango, thank you. But being a cynical old retiree, I think they just want free holidays! :D
 
Hi chicklets!!

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend despite the abysmal weather!!! Oh well, it looks like we have a sunny spell coming up, but snow next month!!! What is happening to British weather? They may as well just scrap the notion of seasons and be done with it!!

Bev I luuurrrve your moggies Candy & Floss! They're very CND in that position!! And they look like they're in total bliss!!! Well done on your loss this week! You can't look at it as a gain because in theory your result is what the change is from Monday to Monday as that's your WI day!! After all, our weight fluctuates lots over the course of a week so you could have had 100 tiny losses and gains during the week for all you know! It's the overall progress that counts!! So you have most certainly had a loss this week!! FACT!!

WG and Ninnins sorry if I forgot to alter your stats...whoops!! Wrists slapped by Aunty Bev there!! Well done WG! And Ninnins, you're doing great so a STS isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things :) XX

OK, now onto me, I GAINED 3.5lb this week (NOT to be updated in results as I have already completed challenge so you have to let me off this one!!!!!) I totally expected this fate as I had already decided that as soon as I reached Target I would have a week off-plan to let my hair down, have a break from writing a food diary, celebrate with some meals out with friends and pretty much eat what I wanted to! And that's what I did leading up to the weekend! I've pulled it back since Friday as I've been working all weekend anyway and wanted to minimise the damage! So now I've got it out of my system I'm well and truly back in business, ready to correct the damage by next week and get back into target range!! I will then be ready to start chipping away and reach my new revised target!X

Thanks Chica - I've rationalised it better now after thinking about it all day.
I've gained 1¾ lbs in the last 3 weeks whilst we've had visitors staying and, being hard on myself, I keep thinking "could've done better".
But I've effectively been on a 3 week holiday too so it's not that bad. :)

Sorry, didn't mean to slap your wrist :wave_cry:. I wouldn't do that now would I?

But I expect to see great things from you to get to your new target "in the fullness of time" as my lovely hubby would say.

Bev that's really not bad in 3 weeks of socialising/entertaining/being out of routine, as you say a 3 week holiday!! I've gained over twice that in about 4 days of overindulgence so have that!!!!

And thanks again for the much appreciated words of encouragement! Don't worry about me, I WILL pull it back and looking forward to chipping away towards my next challenge!! X
 
Will you be extending this challenge for your new revised target or setting up a new one? I would defo join you for that.
 
You will laugh at this, I'm the manager of Exeter Chiefs U14's and this season we have the duty of being the ball boys for Exeter Chiefs. We played (London Wasps and beat them lol) on Sunday and it was televised. Guess who was on the TV kneeling up and looking slim, yippee, it was me :8855::8855::8855:

Am hoping this will be a prelude to a good loss tomorrow xxx

I had to complain to a friend of mine who is a Director at the club that the highvis vest I had to wear pitch side clashed with my top - for a minute he wasn't sure whether I was serious or not, but heyho celebrities can be demanding lol :D :D

I most certainly would.

I lost 1.5lbs this week (well over the last 2 weeks since i didnt WI last week).

Loads of people at the gym tonight came up to me and asked me how much id lost since last seen me cause apparently i look well skinny :D that mustve been a v important 1.5lbs!
 
Can anyone please help me, I have tried the original plan and did quite well though I missed my pasta so this time I wouldf like to try the extra easy as that's all the sw mags and books seem to mention. Csn I follow this plan from beggining to end or is it like a treat you can do once a week? Thanks

You can chop and change each day throughout the week or can do always do EE, there are no rules, whatever suits you best just. With EE make sure you have a third of your meal superfree which is all fruit and veg expect parsnips, sweetcorn and peas
 
Thanks so much Ninnins, I really do hope I can manage to finally start as i've gotten to a point where I want to start everyday but I neevr know what to make. x
