How to lose half your body weight in 10 days (Or a bit longer!)

Ooh lazy :p

I had egg chips and beans for lunch, with beetroot, I love beetroot. Was a bit stupid because we are having chips tonight. Oh well. I didn't want to heat up the oven and didnt remember I could do jacket potato in the airfryer until I peeled it!

Letting Nate watch some kids tv as mum is taking down Xmas trees so it is free. Found put her kidney stone could be due to a high protein diet so I think we'll keep up having a couple of green days a week again.

Oh no I hope shes ok?? Yeh really lazy lol ive not moved much out of the living room today apart from to grab some food. I had 1/2 WW crustless quiche for lunch with some cherry toms, pickled onions, beetroot, cucumber and a teaspoon of caramelised red onion chutney. I cant be bothered to cook anything just for me.

Ive got homemade broth left for my tea so thats totally free and lots of superfree in there too

She says it is like being in labour but she is getting on ok. she had to turn back on our wee walk though. Just made her some tea and Nate a banana so all is good. I've not tried those sw quiches, I'd just eat the whole thing.

I know what you mean about cooking just for yourself. I try to remind myself I'm worth the effort but I will tend to pick easier/quicker things. I love a minty courgette frittata and that does well for lunches for a while. I will do mince and make burgers and meatballs which covers a few meals. Mushypea curry keeps well and can cover a few teas and lunches and can be frozen, diet coke chicken is a simple favourite as nate LOVES it. Pretty much anything I can just chuck in a pan and leave really does me.

Keep meaning to make that cheese and onion pie for lunch and to have spare for snacks.

Not cooking tomorrow. Mum's making pot roast, so a nice day off cooking :) full flabbers in the morning should keep me going until late lunch (main meal) then I might do a spot of simple veg soup. (ee day)

I try to make stuff that the 3 of us will eat but son is so fussy hes not a lover of veg, curries, chillis etc so he pretty much eats junk grrrr

I make soups, burgers, sw quiches anything easy really

Hi fran. Happy Saturday. Hope mum is ok soon.

Just wanted to say what u said has really struck a chord with me and also give me something to think about. I'm one that always needs to see those big losses and gets downhearted when I have been good and only see small numbers but having heard your story in comparison to the big losers at your group it's given me another way to look at it so thanku and if poss when (not if ;) )I'm moaning about the above could u give me a kick up the bum by reminding me of this :) x

Hope ya enjoy ya cook free day x

Oh texty make him cook for himself then! Blinking sod. Nate wouldn't eat his tea yesterday so he was to go hungry. I'm so heartless. Haha. He gets different things if it is spicy. Tonight we had gourmet veggie burgers - I LOVE them. But they are very spicy so he got the same sides, with extra green beans and fish finger instead of burger. He ate enough to be allowed a stocking treat which he is enjoying right now. My brother is a bit fussy, I just chopped the veg up small and he ate it unaware. Haha . Just hope one day he will want to change. My friend is super fussy, but she is trying to improve and do sw.

Jo, glad it helped you. I honestly thought I had put on in my first week. I had followed a 7 day planner so it wasn't possible and my mum was laughing at me being so her I had failed and put on weight. So when I saw 2.5lbs off I was amazed not disappointed. I've proved to be consistent and I know when I hit target I can stay there. Not lose 9lbs, 6lbs, 2lbs then put on 5lbs, 2lbs, 1.tlbs, 3lbs then lose 7lbs. I don't want that for myself. I do get teased by the lady who lost 9lbs in her first week because I'm so good and shine my halo. It is my choice to be at sw and if I'm not going to learn and improve myself I'm damaging myself and others.

I will happily kick your bum :p

He does do a lot himself Fran lol more than his dad anyway -If it doesnt come out of a tin a packet or the freezer hubby cant cook it. Ive been too soft with them I think its too late to change now my own stupid fault i know. If I make a roast dinner or something like that he will eat it but only has peas carrots and potatoes no other veg.

Im like you - when I get to target I want to stay there - id hate to think I went back to old ways I couldnt cope

Really?! My dad can cook but it takes hours, he gets crazily stressed and snappy, it's not all ready at the same time and he uses every pan and surface! He often does the Sunday dinner, but any more than that is just not a good idea. One brother can cook, the other can get by, I got him the Gordon ramsey complete cookery course book and he has used it already, so we have progress.

Lucky son and hubby having you taking care of them.

It's a good job someone looks after them lol. My SIL does all their cooking my daughter doesnt know shes born lol

When I first moved in with my OH everything came out a jar or prepacked in the freezer. He actually loves cooking programmes and he's getting more adventurous. He says he doesn't like a lot of veg but if I put them in a dish he'll eat them. I started him on Jamie Oliver recipes and now he loves recipe sites!

Bless ya you've one from strength to strength tho and u will so stay at target. Thanks for the bum kicking sure ill need it.

Oh and most of them in my house are useless cooks and if they don't like what I cook tough! X

Haha, oh dear texty, she will be in for a shock one day.

Emily, the one problem I have with cookery programmes is that veg is an afterthought or just doesnt feature sometimes! Maybe he felt it was something he wasn't able to do. It is great that he is more adventurous and eats the veg you dish up!

Just compiled this evenings munchies and mum's eyes nearly popped out of her head and asked if she could have all that too. You wouldn't have thought she started 2 years before me! I've weighed her out some cheese on ryvita.

Today's food

B: fruit salad and yogurt
S: nothing
L: sw chips, egg, beans, beetroot, 1 syn of ketchup
S: half a pear (half of it was bad)
D: sw chips (i didn't mean to have them twice, it was a stupid moment earlier, 60g wholemeal roll (heb1), lettuce, cucumber, tomato, Kraft French fat free dressing, gourmet veg burger (chickpea, spring onion, carrot, garlic, baking powder (to small to syn), curry powder, egg, corriander, potato, pepperdew peppers) they are so, so, so, so, nice! From the may/june 2012 magazine.
Evening munchies, selected not eaten: wotsits (5 syns), Apple, 3 babybel light (hea), 2 hifi light (heb2), flake (7 syns)

Had plenty to drink as usual. Serial weighed again(!) And another 0.6lbs down from yesterday's serial weigh. As long as i am back in the 15s at official weigh in then I will be happy.

Had another good sw day. Knackered from Nate screaming half the night but I've not gone for a sugar crutch.

B: full flabbers - 2 Tesco reduced fat sausages (2 syns, egg, bacon, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, onion, 1 level tbsp of brown sauce and a new potato cubed and airfried.
Then I took Nate out for a walk, then when he napped I cleaned out the quails
S: satsuma
D: pot roast - beef, onion, leek, garlic, stock, carrot, parsnips, red wine (1.5 syns) with sprouts and potato gratin - potato, onion, stock, fat free fromage frais. A banana and a yogurt afterwards.

So I have just used 4.5 so far. My hea has gone on milk and I haven't used my heb yet.

Ive not weighed for 3 days and its killing me lol I know i will though as I need to see how ive done before WI and then i can do damage limitation if i need to

Well I just get so frustrated when I am following the plan 100% - writing before biting, I would say inking before drinking but I only ever drink free drinks anyway, and the scales start to go the wrong way.

Well done on not weighing so far.

GOOD NEWS! Got myself a new phillips airfryer for £72 on ebay! because I'll be moving out and I use it SO much I figured if I got it now I wouldn't feel guilty. I never got my eward for hitting 4.5 stone for xmas, nor did we go out for afternoon tea when I hit my first interim target. the dress I was going to get was £85, so I spent less! It's also good because I got sent £20 that I need to cash in, and I won £5 twice on a scratchcard, and I found £5 in my pocket, and I've have kept up my no new clothes/accessories/wool in January!

72 quid is a fab price id love one but im hoping the prices come down. Well done on the card and the find in your pocket and also the 20quid they say things come in 3's x
