Thanks guys.
I know I still have heaps left to lose but the incremental pictures help see how far I have come... Plus I wanted to big up my charity shop find. The belt was on the manaquin when I saw it so I thought i may as well put it with it, I didn't have a purple belt. I went in today and joked that it was ok, I wasn't going to ask for anything out of the window this time, but they did all want to see the dress on. Poor holiday makers thinking they have come to mad-land! I didn't get any more clothes but I got 2 cups that had a little and big saucer with each for the new house. Honest they are lovely. There was a big casserole dish thing I wanted to use to plant up herbs but they were charging £15 for it! Then at the other shop I got some embroidery floss (stupid kit didn't come with enough) and a really cute pinboard/noteboard so picked that up too. Woop for the shop du charity.
Woop for Nate too, we had Malaysian red pepper chicken curry (to which I added courgette and mushrooms) and Nate happily tucked in, he even had some if my mushrooms (he isn't keen on peppers or chicken). Also pleased with him in town. He was going to have a tantrum, I asked him what he thought he'd gain from it, what happened last time he had a tantrum and would he rather hold my hand, we would leave the shop and find nana. He thought and held my hand and we left with no fuss. It was funny. Everyone stared at me when I spoke to him, then their mouths dropped open when there was no tantrum and he held my hand. Lol. Same thing happened in Tesco. I said he could pick a packet of biscuits, then, after i put back the big pack and explained exactly the ones he could pick from, he took malted milks (cow biscuits) and bourbons. A couple stood behind watched smirking as i just said "only one Nate, cows or bourbons." And the woman's jaw dropped when ge put the bourbons back and said "cow bibits." Rather proud of him, and amused. A lot of the locals know us, but it is tourist season now, so Nate has a load more people to freak out.
I'm on 1 syn for the day for the Malaysian curry. And I had my Hea and heb. Only problem is I can't taste anything! So I'm not really wanting anything. Boo. I have been told it was delicious and it is dad's favourite Asia meal so far. That might not mean anything as it was the last thing he ate. So that is Asia recipe number 4 tried, tested and thumbs up from all who could actually taste it!
