IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED, try try try again and again (and again...)

Excellent re cauli... (although I do find that I like cauli more than it me IYSWIM).
Fingers crossed re booking. You're in my diary in any event, wherever you are!
2/3 of breakfast eaten, hanging onto the other third for now so as not to be too hungry at lunchtime when I venture out into the big wide world again...

Phew lucky escape! Please don't try that again!
Looks like a gorgeous lunch (shame about the potential side-effects) - makes me want to come over.

Lovely to see you back, Anja! :D

Jo - Great idea about the trousers. It's sometimes helpful to have a physical reminder to reinforce the mental ones when it comes to resisting food.

Mouse - Thanks! That makes it a much less limiting option if we don't need to use up our oatbran ration to make it. I still think it sounds delicious! :)

I need to speak to the lady again as in the contract it sounds as though they think we should cover the house with our house insurance!! Most odd!

Email it to me if you like (you have the address, I think?).

It's ok thanks Jo - don't want to disturb you at work any more than I already am :) I got the French guy at work to read it for me to check I had translated it properly and I had so I just need to clarify with the lady! Why do I always leave booking holidays so late!!

How weird that the lady expects house insurance to cover the rental? I've never seen that!

I didn't realise you had a French guy at work!

Did I mention that I've a Minimim friend and her husband coming this weekend? They're not staying with us, cos they've a dawg, but we'll eat at their campsite with them Sat pm and they'll eat in our garden (cos of dawg) Sunday night for a BBQ... Monday being a Public Holiday here :) - a strange one, cos it's the one we don't get paid for

J'adore la plage!

Yes I work with french guy!

How nice to have another visitor - enjoy your bank holiday. Shame it's not paid as that's what's lovely about bank holidays.

Cordialement

Mouse

(That's my new French word that I picked up from this owner and I love the sound of it :D)

awh... you're speaking French to me :) I like Paris plage cos it's a treat to see sand here. We'll not have a weekend here though as this year it's set up from 21/7 to 21/8. I just walk through, gawping at people having a go at the various martial arts... they have a pool... boules... cafes... all sorts! Worth a visit as you walk from one end of Paris to the other along the right bank of the Seine!

"Cordialement" is a nice word. "Meilleures salutations" could be your response perhaps... My favourite French word has to be "concubin". My OH is my concubin and I his concubine!

morning Jo, yes you can have an apple!!!

Mouse well done on your loss hon - you are nearly there darling!

Jo do you sneak your extra salmon on the plate?

Thanks Vicky - but only nearly at goal 1!

Jo I also like that other word you used - diaboliser!

I had to share this with you - I was just having a peak at the official site as I like reading the online chat (you never know what snippets you might pick up!!) and some poor deluded sole was asking of they could have fish fingers instead of crab sticks :D Oh how I laughed:D:8855:

Vicky - I now have it off to a tee... you select your fish + veg and they put them in one of those microwaveable silicon pots with a lid, and bring it to you when hot. I chose a seat, back to the counter, furthest away. And yes, my salmon will be in my hand and discreetly plopped into the pot, then buried in broccoli before you can say "Jack Robinson"! My friend is always mildly amused (but is eating bread rolls, pasta and proper pud so no longer says a word!)

I saw that re fish fingers!!!!! (Actually, you probably could but you'd have to coat them with oatbran!!)

And then there's my use of the "glucides" word (pronounced glueseeed of course!)

Nearly lunch. Don't need my last muffin cos feeling ok... That hour plus walk this morning cleared out my cobwebs

I love fish fingers - I remember making them for the kids once years ago - they didn't appreciate it of course, although they did like my home made chicken nuggets (and still do!)

Fish finger sandwich!!!!:)

Switching to another discussion, I am looking forward to trying the 0% sveltesse yoghurt when I am on holiday.

Tan likes them... I like Mullers cos they're different... totally different texture!

I'm not fussed on mullers - I find them too sweet and artificial tasting (say she with the cupboard full of flavourings!!)

Talking of which I really like the orange too. The chocolate I have been saving for sniffing!! I have also made a fragrance box as suggested by Dr D.

I am keen (I know this is revolting) to try the goats cheese flavouring when it comes to the UK shop as it would be delicious in my cauli thing!!

Ha ha been there done that! I enjoyed them though, but never made them again I find the dipping and rolling in cornflakes too messy! We just finished the last few of a huge batch of Salmon Fishcakes (yes non-dukan, with potato) I had made & frozen a while ago (soooo much cheaper...) and DH asked me when I would make the next lot. Meanwhile unappreciative Kiddies were munching industrial fish fingers I'm afraid!

There's a thought... salmon + celeriac fish cakes... mmm!

I adore celeriac! I tasted it for the first time a couple of weeks ago only! Now want it all the time!
