IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED, try try try again and again (and again...)

Thanks Vicky. I think at the moment, as the CBT book says, you have to "credit yourself" when credit is due... (I usually go for the other option - berating myself!!).

My menus I don't post so as not to lead others into error or temptation.

This past week, knowing I needed to be strict, I PP'ed Mon and Tues... PV'ed Wed... Thurs PP + apple + 2 plums. Today also PP + apple + bowl of plums tonight.

Walked 4.5km each day...

But my mind ate loads! And I actually DID eat loads on both PP and PVs to overcompensate no doubt.

LOL. i dont know how you eat so much fruit???

Im going to eat my 'pizza' now did you see piccie on my diary?

oooh thanks for reminding me ref your diary and piccy... yes I saw it this morning at home, and meant to check out the recipe!

On "my 2002-2003" plan, I was having between 10 and 15 portions of fruit and veg a day...

oh wow jo! thats a lot fo fruit. no transit issues then for you?

you could so do the recipe on dukan with egg and quark. its even nice cold :D

I've not found quark here, but we do have a 0% "cheese" (the apostrophes are intentional!)...

My body obviously decided that my eating a tonne of fruit beat hands down what I used to eat, and lost weight.

Since coming out of ketosis, incidentally (mid-September), I've had no transit issues whatsoever... joy of joys!

LOL. thats great although im sure the sales on senokot will have gone down!

Afternoon Jo! :) Incase I don't get chance later...hope you have a good long weekend in country :)

and well done on your STS this week :) xxx

I was a Dulco girl Vick... (hated the stuff!)

Thanks Sarah!! And I see you've tweaked your User info, so well done to you!!

yep I'm using the weight I came back from holiday with (May '10)...as that was the point I was mortified enough to diet :).... using it as a benchmark....want to be at goal for next hol...(as yet unbooked :))

next hol unbooked? snot what a birdie told me! ooh incidentally, if there's even the teeniest chance you might be in my vicinity that Thurs/Fri (I forget which now!), let me know and I'll give you a tel no. Couldn't bear you to walk past where I am and not see you! Even for a quick coffee if I'm s'posed to be working!

ahh that's not a hol Jo :) as discussed...that's gonna be the cause of me NEEDING a holiday! lol..if not a hospital!

will pm you :) x

nah... I never wanted to go - and would NEVER have gone had I not been forced by two Brits who came over and dragged me screaming... LOVED EVERY MINUTE! (and have been three times since, dragging someone with me each time!)

that sounds positive :).....i was dreading it lol...

how not to come back with a stone on :D....ooh and how much squids will I need? x :)

So was I my first time...

The park itself is free of course, cos you've paid - I compare this with when I used to go to fairgrounds as a kid with my pocket money and have to restrict myself on the number of rides.

All the tourist shops are in Main Street where you first arrive - and I urge you to walk straight through this area and head for whichever ride you want. (Not only a budget idea, but while you're browsing in shops, the queues are building up!).

Apart from that, and restaurants/cafés, there are a few carts to be avoided but not that many.

For smokers, they're very strict about that, and I remember not finding an ash tray on the table where I had a drink outside and I was told to stub it out on the floor which I duly did. Within seconds, literally, whooooosh, appeared an employee oooops sorry "cast member" to sweep my litter away! cripes!

So I'd say, all in all, that it's very possible to get round wallet relatively intact depending on how persuasive dd is ...

Hi Jo,

hey great reading on resisting the food temptations yesterday! And nice losses too (ok, STS). Have a GOOD weekend - whatever that means for you.

Re: the Park - still holding out but most likely to give in in the next year or two. My last argument was that we had to wait for DD2 to be out of nappies (moment long passed....). I actually have a childhood friend who works somewhere in their management, so hoping to catch up with her at the same time!

mornng Jo - oops forgot you are off today! hope you are having a nice time xxxxx

hey sarah how you doing x
