Hello ladies and look what you get up to in here when I'm not around - or, rather, busy at work, grrr... got a few mins now, so will try to have a poke around other people's diaries, cos not a lot going on with me.
sorry was too busy yesterday and never got round to much writing last night. I would have joined in the 'eating my food' debate though! DD2 loves Eggs and MUST HAVE some of mine every time I have any. So now I resort to cooking extra, or plan it so she gets one on her plate anyway (when it's just her and me having lunch for example).
'My food' yes I want just ONE of whatever treats I have stashed - most of the 'important' ones are last remnants of the goodies my parents brought from Belgium... The best one was when I defrosted my last few poultry sausages so that I could join in with everyone in the evening meal without eating something 'different', pointed them out to DH so he didn't accidentally feed them to the kids, and then HE ATE them because he though I'd pointed them out because they needed using up!
Oh well... At least if my kids ask about anything I eat (like muffins) and I call it 'Diet-...' they loose interest instantly.
My Daughter announced that she is on a diet today. She rang me to ask what was for dinner and when I said I had a beef stew in the slow cooker she asked my assurance that I was going to make dumplings
oooh I had dumplings on NY's Day... not the best I've ever eaten (sorry to the lady who cooked them for me), but they were nonetheless dumplings <drool>
I love them too. When I dish them up to the family I have to imagine them covered in nasty things, so I don't want a nibble!
Jo, I have sent you a fitnesspal friend request, so you will be able to see my diaries should you wish to.
I don't like the mini ones. They taste different (and you can't hook your pinky inside to dig out the sickly stuff! )
Vicky - I was soooooo good when I met Amanda. The black coffee I had with her must have been the only one over the holiday, particularly where we met where they do lovely frothies... (and it was also a rare occasion not to have a muffin with it - and not a Dukan one!!). My halo shone brightly that morning!
