IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED, try try try again and again (and again...)

Hello,

maybe I get a moment to do some writing today! Been busy at work - this week is a bit crammed.... But I can do long days because of half-term holiday, so I should manage to fit in a bit of surfing!

The noodles sound *interesting* - I googled them too, and found them online at japanese food shops and amazon. Cambridge has quite a number of chinese and asian speciality stores but not sure if they'd stock that - judging by my hunt for Agar flakes last time!
Good to see you're adressing the head huinger - I have that too and womanfully resisted last night, drinking a diet lemonade instead. And yes it's related to staying up late etc etc...

Great on the clothes - Have just seen your sig (I normally have them switched off most of the time) brilliant progress! you've definitely got your momentum back now. Those 12s will feel slack in no time. I hate to say this but my 12s are actually fairly big round the waist but for jeans and stuff it's my calves and thighs that call the shots ;-) No flab left there, they're just errrmm muscular ... Maybe baggy summer trousers might have to be 10s but then I struggle to find some that are long enough.

morning :) great news on the 14s jo! well done honey xxx
again so sorry about your friend, but yes makes you think you need to live life to the full.

(ill pm you in a minute got something funny to tell you)

re the evening egg custard I was thinking about that last night as I eat my dinner usually before six and am just not hungry at all, so therefore it was just habit of needing something sweet?

Absolutely agree with the "don't put off until tomorrow" attitude. It can take an awful shock like that to really bring it home to people, sadly.

Anyway, looking forward to hearing how you get on with the noodles. I'm a big noodle fan and am hoping they will make a good addition, if I can find any.

you can order them over here ....one thing make sure you wash them well the smell of the liquid is off putting them boil them for 5 mins before doing anything with them

its the chemicals inthe liquid in the packs it is foul but once washed and boiled than added to a marinade ect they take on the flavour .....i fooled OH one night he thought they were real noodles

the mind boggles - are you sure these noodles are worth all that effort?

Fantastic news on the clothes Jo, feels amazing being in smaller clothes doesn't it?

yep totally emm taste like real noodles but no fat or real calories

think its just to keep the noodles viable for a while the Jap kitchen sells them ive ordered from them a few times with no trouble

Hello ladies, and I can't add anything to Scrumper's advice, cos I've not tried them. They look like those thin white vermicelli, rather than "noodles" as I know them. Still... good rinse, 1 min boil, then do as you will with them (but I'm told they're tasteless and, much like tofu, it's for you to add ingredients to give them taste!).

So... moving on. Late late dinner last night, including 60g of smoked salmon, and so I shouldn't be surprised to see +600g again on the scales! Guzzling water as I type...

Busy at work alas
x

you are very busy at the moment arent you?xx

Should quieten next week when four colleagues return from holiday - fancy letting four out of an admin team of nine go on holiday at exactly the same time! (Of course we're loath to have that change as any clampdown could affect us at Christmas or whenever it's crucial to us to go...)

is it half term there or some special holiday as to why everyone off?

yep you add the flavouring the more and longer you add the better

Second week of school holidays... so why everyone took that week to go skiing/wherever they've slunk off to, beats me!
