It's Now Or Never

That's a good idea! I have a water bottle that I fill up then put in the fridge at skool! Then today I've brought in some herbal teabags called "a moment of calm"... I had one at break and one at lunch and although they didn't make me very calm, at least they were lovely!

My boss has those teabags too, those and every other variety of herbal tea u could imagine!! Can't get into it myself, a hot drink without milk doesn't work for me!!

See in my head, the fruit ones should be easier to drink than the random herbal ones, but they are all as bad as each other. I remember being unwell at work one day and my boss gave me one that tasted like liquorice, it was vile!!! Some kinda anti oxidant type things - think I'll stick to my NAS!!!

Oh god I LOVE liquorice tea. So sweet and yum. Work do a liquorice and mint one too. Hmmmmm.

Anyway, am very excited as I'm going to see the new Afghanistan exhib that opened only today at the British Museum after work tomorrow. Might sign up and become a member actually as I go s few times a year, so would save on entry tics. Oh I love London. Makes me a very happy Pinkie.

So food today.

Breakfast: frozen fruit, canned prunes (2 syns), branflakes (HEb), low fat yoghurt.
Lunch: couscous and roasted veg.
Snack: caramel bunny (5 syns)
Dinner: chicken curry casserole thing. Alpen light bar (3 syns), wine dark choc (5 syns), fruit and low fat yoghurt
Skimmed milk in tea throughout day (HEa).

Total syns: 15
Water: 3 pints
Exercise: 1 hour quickish walking.

I am going to give fennel and liquorice teas a go then! I was wondering if there would be anywhere that I could get a good selection box with allsorts of different teas in!

Have fun this weekend, sounds like there's lots of fun stuff to see in London, never a dull moment! X

Not sure, maybe a health food shop. Or even try one in a coffee shop, they often do a selection?

A rubbish commute and long working hours make me like London less and less. There's so much to do, but I rarely have time. And there is no chance of me spending weekends in town unless it's a necessity!

Hope you like the exhibit. I'm off to see it one lunch time next week. Also going to see Priscilla Queen of the Desert and am really hoping that I'll be lucky enough to see Alf from Home and Away!

It's true about London. I just adore it. And I like the gritty and rough as well as the old. There just is plenty for everyone. But I'm a Londoner, so I'm biased. :) Best place in the world in my opinion. lol

Lol lol I really fancy that. May have to get tics. I shall expect a review then. I'll let you know about Afghanistan. :) Know what you mean about the commute. I spend nearly 4 hours a day, and it can be exhausting. I moved further out to be near family after my ex and I split. Where do you come in from?

I come in from near Croydon. Not far as the crow flies, but no tube, no buses to town and a rubbish train line run by Southern!

Don't get me wrong, I love London but I think I'm a bit jaded what with the commute. And I HATE the tube! There has to be a real emergency for me to go down there. :shudder:

I work very close to the National Gallery, though, which is awesome!

Ah right near Trafalgar Square. Yes I do love that. I love all the museums though. Wanna do more stuff with them. I studied an OU Arts and Humanities course a few years back. Really helped me appreciate art more.
I'm near Holborn, so BM quite walkable. Know what you mean about tubes. I walk if its at all feasible. :)

On my way home. Had a lovely evening, and exhib great, very bling and pretty - shiny shiny :)

Hey, sounds like a nice relaxing Saturday! I didn't do any exercise unless you count moving my feet off the pedals while in a driving lesson... What? That's not exercise you say?!

Bleurgh. I've eaten far too much today, and am fed up thinking about food. Gonna spend the rest if the evening drinking water and watching winter sports. May well watch the cricket highlights too *we won! we won!* In fact my entire day has once again been very unproductive and spent watching sport on tv. Harrumph - no one to blame but myself.
